I maybe the only person to ever review East Side Cafe & Bar. If this review finds you bellied up to the large wooden bar, you're welcome.While driving across Nebraska, Monroe Nebraska became our stomach rumbling lunch stop. We started out with a cheese curds appetizer in a basket surrounded in tinfoil as if it was ready and prepared to launch to the moon. Little cup of Ranch dressing was a perfect combination even for Neil Armstrong.I ordered a smothered Swiss mushroom burger and my girlfriend ordered a cheeseburger. What is better to eat in Nebraska other than Cow? Our lunch hit the spot and the loud country music set the mood.I'm sure this place gets rowdy on both a Friday and Saturday night. For us, we had a very quiet lunch.

We stopped in to eat lunch and the food was great! The owner and his wife were very friendly and gave great service. The food was reasonable and you got what you paid for. Home cooking. I will be back to this cafe/bar again. You should really take the drive to Monroe,NE to try this cafe/bar out.
