Every time I have been to Early Bird it has been good. They do get busy on the weekends so definitely check or join the waitlist before going!I've had a few of their egg benedict's and definitely like the crab cake one better than the salmon one. The breakfast pot pie was also delish!! My sister got one of the burrito bowls and it was good, but a bit spicy for our taste.It's a great and reliable brunch spot, just be sure to prepare for it to be busy if you go on a weekend!

I had high hopes. The menu looks great and the food is good (breakfast poutine? Yes please). So why 3 stars? Lukewarm coffee. Terrible, inattentive service. Full stop. Having to remind, repeatedly request service is not a good way to start today. The garçon couldn't remember water and seemed to forget we were there. Never asked how things were and when flagged down to request the check after being plainly done for 10-15 minutes he seemed inconvenienced. Sorry. Not returning.

If you're in the Blackstone area and it's before noon, chances are you've been to Early Bird. This is one of our go-to breakfast/brunch spots here and this visit did not disappoint! Pro tip: Use the Yelp check in to skip the line before you arrive!We sat on their back patio on a warmer Sunday for lunch which is covered and perfect before the weather really gets cold. There are so many delicious choices, it's hard to pick just one. Today, we both went with their bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with fruit and tots. This "little" sandwich is packed full of protein and flavor, you definitely won't go home hungry! Their tots are my personal favorite for their crispy texture over hash browns. Service was excellent for a busy, Sunday lunch as well. You won't want to miss Early Bird next time you're in Blackstone!

This place is sooooo good! William was my server at the bar. I got the chicken fried steak and subbed the pb&j French toast instead of bread! OMG everything was delicious! Every bite had flavor and the portions were huge! The vibe is relaxing, the music is chill r&b, it's clean, and everyone was welcoming. I travel for work and can't wait until I'm back here in Omaha to eat brunch here again! Don't miss out!

Stopped by on a Saturday morning back in late August and they seemed pretty busy but service was great! Stopped by with a party of 6, and our server was so nice and bilingual (which is a big plus in my book!!) We ordered our food and came out relatively fast considering how many of us there were and how busy they were. I can't remember what everyone ordered, but I ordered the early bird (eggs, hash-brown bacon) and a side of toast. I was tempted to order a pancake or waffle but I chose to not feel full sick for the rest of the day Was not a fan of the hash-browns, but everything else was yummy. My parents ordered the churro waffle which I had a bite of (not pictured) which was yummy. My dad ordered the strawberries and cream waffle (not pictured) which I also stole a bite from and it was okay, waffle was bland and needed a bit more sugar. Overall great service and food!

Came for brunch on a chilly November day and was able to get seated right away. Our waiter didn't come for at least 15 minutes but it was pretty busy. It took a while to get our food but when it did finally come it was delicious and the French toast sticks did not disappoint. A bit overpriced but good menu just be prepared to wait during peak hours.

The early bird gets the... pancake. We came early and were seated quickly in front of the colorful mural. I was tempted to get the chicken fried steak, but didn't want to end up with leftovers. I ordered the tot poutine instead- tater tots, pork sausage gravy, white cheddar cheese curds, crispy bacon and sunny eggs. It was more filling than I expected to be and I wasn't able to finish it. I loved the cheese pull, but wished there was more gravy.

Unfortunately have to take a couple stars off after my most recent experience here. We waited 30 minutes for our server to ever come to our table to take our orders, another 40 for the food to come out, and another 20 for her to close us out. The food itself was good but definitely a little cold when it did come out. Overall just so slow and I don't think I'll be back to this location as what should've been a 45 minute meal took almost 2 hours and made us delayed in the rest of our day plans.
