Dundee Dell

Had a hankering for some fish and chips and I always fall back on what I know, is some legit fish and chips... Icelandic Haddock, with Dundee Dell's own beer batter mix, crisped up to perfection with a PERFECT fish to batter ratio. Cause let's be honest that kinda matters! Served with chips, house made tartar sauce, ketchup and a sweet flag. If you're an Anglophile like myself, this place will make you happy. T snagged their Chicken Fried Chicken, and holy... hell... was that fool DELISH again, PERFECT chicken to breading ratio, served with bomb gravy and string beans. SO good. A dish I would shamelessly devour in one sitting. Maybe next time! If I'm honest I'm glad he got a different dish, because if I'm also honest, I ONLY go to the Dell for my fish and chips ... I might've been swooned otherwise next time.At the end of the meal, we were given an envelope that must be opened inside Dundee Dell, by an employee only, after the 1st of the year. Secretly, I'm SO hoping we get the 6 days and 5 nights in Munich or London... Highly recommend if you enjoy great flavor, great drinks, great foot traffic and people watching!

What a great restaurant! I crave their fish and chips all of the time. So light and crispy! The breading is just right. Not too thick but, you can still tell it is there. The tartar sauce and chops are also very good. I love that they also have the "right" kind of vinegar to douse it in. I went during October when they were decorated for Halloween and had a Harry Potter theme as well. Very nice ambiance and service. Only took off a star for price. The food is great but, I wish the entrees were $3-5 cheaper. If so, I would be here weekly instead of on a more special occasion.

We used to live in Dundee and the Dell was a weekly dinner date. It had been years, we stopped in for a late lunch. Not busy. Staff was friendly and efficient. Of course we ordered fish and chips. It was as good as we remembered! Delicious!We will return soon!

The service is impeccable. Staff know what they're doing. I am in aluminum customer and I have seen most businesses fail in the Dundee area. The Dell is pretty good yes

We stopped into Dundee Dell a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed my visit. While the whisky bar was closed for a private event, the drinks were still quite good and the fish and chips were delicious. Service was prompt and the waiters were very kind. I definitely plan to come back soon!

After a quick flight to Omaha, the girls and I ventured out for a bite to eat.Dundee Dell was the place of choice and a good one at that!!++ The neighborhood is beyond cute, brightly colored and welcoming! So quaint and cute!++ The unassuming little exterior opens up to a spacious interior - featuring a beautifully restored bar, cozy booths and the perfect color palette!++ Service is on point - to which our server, Ashley, was amazingly attentive for having the entire dining room to tend to, friendly, made great recommendations and ensured our waters/iced tea were refilled! Thank you!++ Known for their Fish and Chips and a variety of British eats - the food is fantastic! Being that Mom and I had noshed on a loaded breakfast sandwich preflight, we opted to split a loaded shrimp salad. It was AMAZING - with the best dressing! Perfectly crunchy, tasty and light! YUM!When back in this little quaint part of Omaha, I'll be back to sample one of their signature cocktails! :)

Popped in for a bite to eat on a Saturday afternoon. Working in Omaha for a couple months, found a place in Dundee, the Dell was highly recommended. Ashley, an outstanding barkeep, suggested the Crispy Chicken Sando, said it's the biggest chicken sando in the city. Challenge accepted. The monster came out and it was spectacular! Massive, lightly breaded, chicken patty. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and crispy pickles. At first glance, I was a bit intimidated. But a slow and steady pace, with a properly poured Guinness, the colossal beast was defeated. Do your self a favor and take the Pepsi challenge with the best chicken sando in the city @ Dundee Dell! Five stars!!!

I really wanted to like this place and was most intrigued by their Reuben they say has been around for ages. Unfortunately, besides the really cute interior and vibe, we didn't have a good time. We were the only 2 in the restaurant and it took nearly 30 minutes to get our two meals. The Reuben was good for a sandwich, but I can't say it was a great Reuben. My crab cake had crab shell in it! I wasn't sure when I first crunched on it, but then I pulled out a whole chunk which I posted a picture of. Pricey for no reason.

100% will be making Dundee Dell a regular restaurant that I visit each month. Their Wagyu burger was the best burger I've ever had locally if not EVER and same goes for their fish and chips. Their service was out of this world when it came to making sure we were taken care of and the atmosphere was super clean friendly and in addition they had the place decked out for Halloween with Harry Potter decor. If I could go higher than 5 stars I would. (Picture would be included if I hadn't completely demolished it)
