I stopped by Dragon's Lair Comics at 146th and Center for what I thought would be a quick errand--to grab some bags and boards for my older comics--but ended up spending 30 minutes exploring the store. It's packed with cool toys, backstock comics, and a welcoming atmosphere that's hard to resist. The staff here is fantastic--knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about comics. I spent some time at the counter chatting about our favorite comic artists like Alex Ross, and it was a great conversation. They really know their stuff, which came in handy when I accidentally grabbed the wrong size boards (vintage, pre-1970s). They immediately noticed and helped me find the right ones for modern comics.Dragon's Lair Comics is everything you'd want in a neighborhood comic store--welcoming, well-stocked, and staffed by people who truly care about the hobby. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just diving in, this place is a must-visit.

Large selection of everything from board games to comics, D&D to Pokemon, Video games to figures. The staff was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. Prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back when I have more time.

I went to the store, but the comics were oddly arranged, making it difficult to find what I needed. The games could have been better organized too. However, the most memorable part was the rude store employee at the counter. When I asked if they were buying Pokémon cards, he responded rudely, saying he didn't feel like buying because he was going to lunch and everyone wanted to sell cards to him that day. It was a strange and bizarre response. Better customer service would greatly benefit this business.

Lack of knowledge and customer service was amazing. I know we all don't like working, but it was pretty damn obvious here.
