I had myself a great little dinner in here. Notice the name on the giant banner outside of the building "Express" its a to go - delivery place. I sat and enjoyed a meal of Dragon Cafe Beef, Crab Rangoon, and an Egg Roll. There are not many tables here 3 maybe. The staff is very friendly and personable. They had a ton of to go orders as I sat there. The dragon beef was very good. The sauce was on the medium for thickness and spice. while having a good ginger and pepper bite to it. bamboo shoots were crispy and more fresh compared to others i have tasted.**The crab rangoon** These were some of the better I have had in omaha. I would say top 5 in town!!Very fresh and white on the cream inside and a good bit of crab meat. nicely sized an a great crunch. The egg rolls were not good. Skip those.Overall I was very impressed. It was a great meal from a to-go/delivery style of place!!

1st time customer, ordered $73 worth of food & every bit other than appetizers was crap! Sweet & sour chicken×2 both over cooked dry. Sweet & sour shrimp over cooked & dry. Ok mein greasy. Not worth the money not going back. They offered a discount on my next visit! Why come back if they can't fix the food we already ordered! Lost money

Didn't hate it, but I didn't like it either. Crab rangoon was tasty, but that is where the positive comments end. My meal was tasteless and nothing I care to try again. Combo fried rice was dried out and meh in every way. The plastic forks were tiny; very difficult to enjoy eating with these kid sized utensils. I was very underwhelmed.

Update: we gave them another go - they no longer make the dumplings that way - the plump fluffy delicious folded pocket of wonder is now the super flat gyoza-like usual suspect. Envision a human dropping to their knees shaking one fist at the sky...--------Discovered Dragon Express while hunting for in house dumplings. They had them. They were good. I must also note the crab Rangoon's. Huge, creamy puffs of goodness. Let us blame pregnancy cravings for the upsetting amount that have been consumed in the past. However, I have no excuses for my continued appreciation of them. Sadly, we have not been back in a long while due to our last three visits presenting us with over cooked dumplings, leaving a bitter taste and mood. We have ordered other items a handful of times but found the American-Chinese food to be nothing extraordinary although the lunch special is a crazy deal. This is a pick up/delivery place. The staff recommends pick up and so do I considering the quantity of negative delivery reviews. All this talk of plump home made dumplings and creamy filled fried dough pockets is encouraging me to give Dragon Express another go.

Before this last trip to Omaha, I had been watching a Restaurant Redemption marathon. For those unfamiliar, this Cooking Channel show is similar to Kitchen Nightmares or Restaurant Impossible, but with a female Taiwanese-British host making over Asian themed restaurants. I would strongly recommend Dragon Cafe giving them a call because they need improvement with the poorly used space (limited seating/tables but there's like a living room space behind the counter/in front of the kitchen), poorly chosen decor, oily and bland food, and the blase service... they may need some redemption for their restaurant. Please call Ching-He Huang!

Found a piece of metal string in my food. Called the front desk and let him know and he said ok and hung up. Hunan chicken was more like broccoli chicken with more broccoli and less chicken.

Great place to eat at I've eating here for many years. Not once have I ever been disappointed the staff are nice and friendly. I love there crab Rangoon I have not found no other place I like better. I also love that they have delivery. The drivers are pleasant and on time. I always get the same order which is the the chicken and broccoli because it's BOMB. I enjoy the food and people this place is the real deal.

Definitely up there with the worst pretend Chinese food ever. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu the go to when I want to try a new place and they still got it wrong. Combo Lo Mein the noodles stuck to each other it had no flavor and like 2 shrimps only. I don't know how by some miracle this place is still open. Beware.

Overall, it was decent. The time and the coupons available were good. You get a lot of food for your money, but when it comes to the quality of the food, it's nothing more than decent. Beef and broccoli is drenched in sauce and the egg rolls had an unappealing taste to them. I would go back if I was starving and trying to save some money, but I would not voluntarily stroll inside.

We have had delivery service twice recently from Dragon Express. The food arrives hot and fresh. We ordered orange shrimp which arrived hot and crispy (even better leftover cold out of the refrigerator) and sesame chicken which was very tasty. The egg rolls are amazing -- somehow the outside stays crispy which is really nice for takeout. The portions are very large for the reasonable price. Try it!
