Dear Richard Powell,The word "doctor of optometry" at the end of your name does not give you any right to talk down to your customers and their families. You have absolutely no manner.I have a doctoral degree as well even though when I asked you about my mother, your patient, I did not introduce myself as such.May I remind you that at the end of your name, it's a "OD", not a "DO" or "MD". So don't get your nose up too high when you talk to people coming in for an eye exam at your store.

I was a patient of Dr. Powell for a couple of years. The over all service was good, but he changed my prescription 4 times in two years. First he upped it, then lowered it, then upped it, then lowered it. I finally switched doctors because it was getting too expensive to return contacts and change my glasses prescription. Once I left, the office kept billing me for a service plan even though I told them I was switching doctors. They would call me about outstanding bills and I would have to keep telling them I was no longer a patient there.

I have been going to Dr. Powell for a number of years. One of the guys I work with recommended him to me and he is close to my area of town so I tried him. Have been going to him every since. His office is easy to work with too. My husband goes there too. He has a larger head and most glasses won't fit him so they order a larger frame for him that fits him better. We stop in any time we need an adjustment and are taken care of right away at no charge.
