I. Love. Street. Food. If that's all an Elite could type for a review, that would perfect. However, y'all need and want more than just that. Lately these bad boys and gals have been parked at the NE (north east) corner of 60th/Q St, with ample space for parking and practicing social distancing, while your good to the bone street tacos are made FRESH. Like right in front of your measly eyes! Not too terribly much of a fan of flaming fire hot sauce, but from what I've heard when asking around, you can't have one and not have the other. SO... grab ya some street tacos, dribble some lime, a little splash of the fire sauce and a BIG OLE cup of horchata and bingo. YOU MUST TRY SOUTH OMAHA FOOD TRUCKS!

This was incredible food. Great service and fair prices. We saw them as we were stopping in town on our way through. Wish we lived closer so I could eat their amazing tacos again!

Food is awesome. Never mind the truck atmosphere, best taco truck in the area! Service with a smile and help yourself to as much green and red sauce you can handle.

Want a big meat filled burrito, with great flavor and under $7, look no further. My partner introduced me to this truck, he has been coming to it for years. The best part is that the truck is open late into the night, so no more Taco Bell after a night of partying. The burrito is so big, I rarely can finish it, so I have breakfast ready for me in the morning. Just heat it up and add an egg. BAM!

I Love Taco Johns, esp. the burritos. I just bought two bags of Taco Johns Super Hot Sauce and am wondering if anyone knows if I can freeze them as I want them to last and not sure how I can store them so that they will. Thanks so much for any help.

De Oros has two trucks, which led to some confusion on our part. Both are on 24th Street, but one is in the O'Reilley Autoparts parking lot at Vinton Street) and the other - the one listed on Yelp here - is at G Street in the 'Envios de Dinero' parking lot. You can see it on Google Streetview and everything. This was an interesting taco tour stop for several reasons... first, it was super busy and on a busy street. Second, because this was the first time in my life I've met a quesadilla I didn't like (old grease explosion is how I'd describe it) and third, because when I went across the street to use the restroom I considered using the mens single-holer since there was someone in the women's... DON'T. That mens' restroom is one of those restrooms you may have nightmares about. (Probably best to either pee before you go, or just drive right on by here in general). As you may have gathered, I wasn't enamored with the food. Waiting in line... during the hottest part of the day may have had something to do with that? But really, the food was just kind of rough. Everything was kind of mushy and greasy, the Al pastor appeared to be topped with canned pineapple and even the shells weren't really palatable. The coke was good and cold though.

I ordered 12 tacos and 1 burrito for 4 people about a month ago. I ordered 2 carne asada and 2 al pastor for myself, I only finished 3 of the tacos as they were a little bigger than I expected them to be! The carne asada could very well be the best carne asada tacos I have had. The al pastor was really good, but maybe not the best. Everyone else loved their food as well! This will be my go to taco spot for tacos in Omaha. The price was about normal for tacos but they were a little bigger, so the price could equal out to be lower than others!
