Decent place to get a reasonably priced lunch in Downtown Omaha.Subs, pizza, and pastas. A no-nonsense kind of place, nothing fancy.Definitely a strong Creighton University theme for decor here. There's a family-restaurant vibe here, staff know what do and provided good service.Be mindful of the hours as this restaurant is a downtown lunch place and is open during the window when people downtown are eating lunch.I wouldn't make a special trip to come downtown to eat here; but if you're downtown it's convenient and a better value than a lot of other places in the immediate area. We all find ourselves coming to the courthouse from time to time, I think. Well, I do anyway.

Great food, super kind and polite staff, awesome prices! So happy I caught a smell of their delicious sandwiches,pizzas and pastas while walking past. Absolutely going back with my coworker and recommending when we come back downtown.

Small sports minded establishment. The people are very friendly, and efficient. Had an Italian sandwich which was quite good and I would recommend it. Overall, excellent choice for a quick, tasty sandwich.

Stopped in for lunch on a whim as this place was right around the corner from my hotel and boy am I glad I did! That was a tasty sandwich!! Got the Italian, daily special, and it was delicious! May try to drop back in before I leave. The guys who work there were very friendly as well!! Thank you!!

Yelp shows this is open until 5pm. I got there and they had closed at 2pm. Check before you drive out to see what their real time for closing is.

To Go ReviewToday my boss offered to pay for lunch for us and recommended Doozy's. Yay! Free lunch!Upon arrival, my sandwich was in a paper bag. It was wrapped in foil and when it was opened it appeared to be completely smashed (no, my boss did not accidentally mangle our sandwiches). The saving grace of this was that the sandwich was pretty good. I got the Italian Combo Sub. Ham, salami, sausage, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. The sausage seemed pretty odd to have, but, it turns out a toasted italian club with little sausage meatballs is pretty good!If Doozy's worked on their presentation they would make a good sandwich great!Happy eating Yelpers!

Wow! What a great meal. We came in close to closing time but they were very gracious to feed us and let us stay. The bread was great and not overtoasted. They were very friendly with us and we ate well. We even shared the info with the other team families! This is a must stop place for lunch!

For some reason in the past I have gotten here when they were already closed Today I finally made it. Really good sandwiches and good pricing. Friendly staff. Definitely a good place for a quick bite. Will try the pasta next time.

I stopped by for a quick bite. It is, and I hate to use this term, unpretentious lunch place that offers food stuffs like hot sandwiches, pasta bakes, and pizza. I can only comment on the sandwich I ordered, a 7" chicken cordon blue. It was pretty good, though the chicken and ham were a little dry. I thought the bread was awesome though and the price was just right. The service might be a little slow if it's really busy like it was when I went. If you are looking for bite in downtown, try this out.

Doozy's is TASTY. I visit about 3 times a week because I work really close and it NEVER disappoints. They have hot subs and at the best price point in the area. Heck! Prolly the cheapest hot sub in town! A 7 inch drink, chips and a drink never runs more than 7 bucks. The owner and the help are top notch and the menu variety is fantastic. Support local business, eat at Doozy's.
