Doctor John's Lingerie Boutique

This is a great store, but I think they should lower their prices on all of their stuff in the store. dr john's lingerie & boutique store should make an actual website so people can see a list of the in store products with pictures and the prices of the products that this store has inside their store

Walked in and the seemingly 19 year old red head behind the counter asked us for our ID. Cool, here you go. She immediately snapped at us about me having my purse (which is literally smaller than anything they sell there) I questioned it and she immediately threw us out. I complied and put my purse in the car, came back in and then she told us "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. And I was on a break, so leave" really? Awful. I was about to spend at minimum $300 there. Makes sense that you have a "Now Hiring" sign outside. When you have staff chasing off your customers in order to NOT do work, I completely understand why you're hiring. I will make sure no one I know goes there again. Sadly, you lost a great customer and bad news spreads faster than good.

This worker is absolutely horrendous! She told me to fix all the lingerie I just "messed up". I didn't even mess anything up, I was browsing like a normal customer and she had the nerve to say she was the manager. After standing by the register as she watched me, I went towards the back by the office to try to get other help and she said can I help you... I said well I just needed to be checked out... she said all you had to do was say that. I sat my item down on the counter and they lost a sale. She literally tried to boss me around as if I was destroying the store. Im furious and I will do whatever it takes to speak to someone higher up that her. I am including a photo of her as well.

When I very first moved here December 2019, I saw Doctor John's and decided I wanted to check it out. I was walking in at the same time as a lady with a baby in a carrier and the woman working behind the counter came unglued on this poor girl.Instead of stopping her and politely letting her know she could not bring the baby in the store with her, she just started screaming at the girl!I quickly turned around and left! I was disgusted at that woman's attitude and could not believe how ignorant she was.So it's now April 2020 and right after my Birthday so I decided maybe I would give it a try and go in there again and treat myself.There was a sign on the door that says no large purses. No problem, my purse can fit my debit card my driver's license and my phone in it. That's it. I walk in the door and the woman behind the counter starts screaming at me that I can't have my purse in there.I stopped in my tracks and politely said "the sign on the door indicates that I cannot have a large purse. My purse is minut." She then continued to yell at me " Yah well this is my store and I make the rules, so you can leave. " So I'm guessing this was the owner? You treat the customers like trash, You act like trash, YOU ARE TRASH!! Simple! I will never go in there ever again and honestly, I hope others heed my warnings! Do not waste your time or money somewhere that doesn't value or respect you.. You are worth far more then the effort they put out to just exist..

I went to Dr. John's last Saturday to buy blowup dolls... Okay that came out wrong. It was with a friend... No that still didn't sound right. It was with a friend for a party... Um, no, it it was with a friend who was buying them as a gag as part of costume... does that make sense? Okay, well anyway I went to Dr. John's. Since this was very likely my one and only trip here, why not a review?First off, they ID you right inside the door, which disappointed me right away because I'm used to getting served alcohol right after being ID'ed... No such luck. Second, I'm not sure why in this day and age (what with the Internet and all) anyone would want to park their car on one of the busiest streets in Omaha to go to an adult store... For that reason I assume most of the patrons at 2pm that Saturday afternoon were shopping for bachelorette parties or simlar. And there's plenty of that sort of fodder here for that. But if you're looking for something else, the staff is more than willing to help. However, you're looking for what we were looking for - more of a "novelty style", androgynous, less "functional" blow up doll - no such luck. We had to go to Spencer's for that (which in the past 10 years has become their own kind of adult store...) It was definitely an interesting day.

I'll be moving out of Omaha soon, so I'm writing reviews on a little bit of everything. Dr. John's is a true Omaha experience. Why do you ask? Well, it's because it's the only adult store within Omaha city limits. The owner has been sued and arrested more times than John Gotti. You see, people here in Omaha are up tight when it comes to things such as adult stores. My thought on this is that if you don't like it, THEN DON'T GO THERE. Not that hard, right? Anyway, this place is a mecca for anyone in town looking to host a bachelorette party, anyone shopping for lingerie, costumes, adult videos, toys, etc. It's pretty much just your average adult store, but it does focus more on the lingerie aspect than most other adult stores. Being the only adult store in town, it is expensive!I have personally bought a number of things here, from gag gifts to items for bachelorette parties. Beware that if you use your credit card, they will also fingerprint you. This is so that when your significant other sees the credit card statement, you can't claim that it wasn't you!

Gross and overpriced. Felt like I was walking into a second hand store where everything was used. All of the shoes were scuffed and some even had crackling vinyl and faux leather. Selection is far better elsewhere in town. Also reeks of pot smoke (they actually sell pipes there too). Sales people seem unhappy to be there. Actually got hit on by some creepy customer. Seems to attract the dregs of Omaha. Hardly any fetish gear and what they do have looks like it's been hanging on the racks for decades. Save your money and dignity and shop elsewhere.

This was honestly the worst store experience ever. This past Thursday on September 2nd. I drove from Lincoln to omaha after being at work on an overnight shift. I'll be honest I looked like a hot mess with mental health and pms raining down on me as well. I felt like maybe something special for my boyfriend since he put up with me and something for myself might bring me out of my funk. My physical license was expired but I had my temp PDF one. The female worker there with black hair, bangs and reminds you of a Wish Knockoff of Amy Winehouse (credit to my ride or die bff)---she tells me she can't accept a pdf or my proof from the DMV website. She wouldn't let me get a word in about how I have my expired and I can pull up the dmv and login and show her. She kept saying no and interuping me with some bs about me lying and I could be underage. Understanding and I accept that. I wasn't gonna argue cause she said I could go print it off and it would be good then. BUT SHE CONTINUES ON and then goes to say that she could be charged as a sex offender for selling to a minor, but not to worry cause she's not a sex offender and I'm "NOT THAT CUTE ANYWAYS" (VERBATIM, ) and she quickly tries to redeem herself with a "THEN AGAIN NOBODY IS" and continues to ramble.It didn't click with me till we stepped out of the store and I confirmed with my friend that I heard correctly. ITS 2021 AND SHES A WOMAN INSULTING ANOTHER WOMAN. Honestly it hurt, and ruined my next few days due to pms and a depressive episode that was already in progress. Yes I have the strength to overcome words and mean girls. But there are some who aren't. And for her to make that comment when sex stores already take some courage (for some) is absolutely uncalled for confidence damaging. I don't think I can ever go back.

Horrible service and I mean horrible. Also alot of the creams and sprays are all fake/generic. I would not recommend this store. Plus the prices are OUTRAGES for products that are complete false advertising
