The rudest staff I've ever encountered with the worst selection of toys, products, and clothing. The woman working in the front had the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

Other people have said it, I'm just gonna reiterate it: Dr. John's is creepy. Their selection blows, their prices suck and it's just kinda cheap in there. Even their porn isn't that great, it all looks like amateur home videos from the '90s.

What kind of novelty adult bookstore doesn't carry Playboy? I just want some nude Battlestar Galactica. Is that so much to ask?

Nothing like a HUGE 24 hour porn store to give you some hope that this town may be more exciting than anticipated. WRONG. Went in here while staying in Lincoln at a nearby hotel, and needless to say I was disappointed. Selection was comprised of items that I had seen before at every random lingerie shop I've ever been to, and much more expensive. I was not even greeted when I walked in. And as a matter of fact the two girls that were working there didn't even bother to aknowledge that my friend and I were wandering around the store for about 30 minutes. At night from our hotel window we seen cars parking on the side of the store and what seemed to be a back area with blue lighting that was pretty busy. I suppose that may be the allure and reason for this 24 hour shop.

I stopped in to this store today thinking I would check it out. I usually see pick up parked in front of the store when I drive by in the morning. But when I pulled in today there weren't any cars in front. So I started to leave and seen Simone walk in from a side entrance. I pulled around and tried to turn around in the lot behind the building when I realized that a construction crew were refining the bldg. a very large dog ran out from a construction trailer Ana an older fellow walked out. I asked where his dog was since I couldn't see it and didn't want to run over it. The guy started yelling at me about why would I be driving around back there and that I was trespassing. I tried to tell him there wasn't any signs up staying that and I was just turning around to get out of there. He continued to yell at me and I drove off. I will never return to this place if this is how they are going to treat their customers. Especially when there is a far better place two blocks away where the management is friendly. It's really to bad I was looking forward to making a couple of large purchases. DONT GO To this PLACE. They are bad news.

I love this place...the employee's are awesome, they have a great selection of stripper clothes and huge toy section. If you want to have a good time, this place is where its at.

They provide a tasteful look at adult fun. I imagine you other sex addicts who have reviewed on here are longing for the dingy hole known as Romantix. If you really need a Playboy, there are plenty of convenience stores in town who carry it. As for the selection, if it were any more risky, the conservatives in this town, that longed for Romantix to go away and helped shut down such places as Peter McQ's, would be all over them. If you want raunchy, drive to Omaha or get on line. If you have not noticed, they carry many items that I am surprised they can get away with in this town.. I miss the selection of Romantix too, but here in conservative Lincoln, we have a grandfather clause on decency that poor Doc Johns did not get in on.So if you really have a problem with the Lincoln location, just ask your city council. or as I have mentioned before, drive to Omaha or get on line.
