Divine Truth Christian Store

This is the last remaining "Christian bookstore" in Omaha. "Christian" meaning it serves most mainstream and evangelical denominations, and acknowledging that many of their customers might not acknowledge the Catholic bookstores in town as being part of this category. "Bookstore" meaning that they carry a large selection of Bibles and of Christian-themed books, while also carrying cards, kitschy gifts which appeal to a very specific suburban demographic, and so forth. Books include Bibles, study guides, preaching aids, reference works, clean fiction, and guides for navigating just about any life problem you might encounter. They used to have an extensive selection of music CDs, but that's gone for the same reason that nobody else sells CDs anymore.They're independent and locally owned, so I make an effort to shop here even if I could save a few pennies online.

The Divine Truth Christian Store can be described as "average" when comparing to places of the same theme. Lots of Christian decor separated by specific scripture or topic, aisles of greeting cards and theological books and small sections for music, clothing and accessories. There were two spaces that I had to go around either workers stocking shelves or a cart full of items waiting to be put in their place. The biggest downfall for me was the lack of supplies for Bible journaling which was the main reason I came in.Workers were friendly and prices seemed to be at par with other Christian stores. These guys are great. There friendly and even when you ask a stupid question they don't make you feel like it's a stupid question. The store has a great selection for a regular Christian store. My wife and kids find everything they won't, many times more then they need. I would love to see a greater selection of academic focused materials. This is only because I like to support my local stores, instead purchasing online.

Great staff and a clean store. It's always great to see the different art they have there to either add to your office or to your home. They have a ton of christian books and most importantly Bibles as well. I have been buying from the for a few years now.

I use to go here ALL the time when I was a kid. I would be so excited to come see the books and movies that they had. Customer service is nice and the people are so happy and willing to help.

I have shopped at this bookstore many times. It has been in La Vista, Nebraska, many years. The first time I shopped there was in 1979. The store has grown several times through the years. It is run by a family. Three generations of the family run the store. It is a wonderful place. They have almost anything you might want to get at a Christian bookstore.It is the best Christian bookstore I have ever shopped at.

They have a nice selection of Christian books and tapes. Great resource for the Omaha area.

This store has a very large selection of religious/Christian items that shoppers may not readily find elsewhere. A wide variety of subject matter of any number of topical issues are available that would be of interest to many inquirers. Quiet and peaceful inside the store.

Walmart and Target had plenty of romance novels but no longer carry the Love Dare... Whereas they obviously don't care to much to support marriages over affairs, this location stocks in your choice of paperback or leather.

Great place to go for all beliefs when needing a gift. Staff was helpful and pointed me in the right direction.
