Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Friday night fail for sure. Date night we chose to go here and left hungry and concerned I was going to spend the next day regretting ordering the wings. When we were arrived we were greeted by two very polite and helpful young men who were the highlight of the stop. They were attentive and friendly while still busy filling several larger orders waiting to be sent out. And older gentleman (who I'm guessing was the manager?) said they were having trouble with their meat earlier but thought they had it worked out and had all the meats but ribs. I do t know what trouble he was referring to but ordered anyway. I ordered wings. Piece number two was raw. Like raw raw that when I bit a piece off I could feel the raw texture while chewing. (See photo). There was a couple other pieces that were very pink inside as well (and no not smoked meat pink I know the difference). I also had Mac n cheese and it was not cold.... But that's also how warm it was. Just not cold. My husbands food was also not hot and the portion size was very small. Left hungry, down $40 and went through a drive thru.

Drive right on over to Texas Roadhouse, or anywhere other than here. The two young men behind the counter were amazing. If any food service company is looking for two amazing young men, poach them from this place. Kind, polite, yes sir/yes ma'am kinda fellas. That was impressive to see.Food...terrible. I typically don't post bad reviews, or tell anyone who isn't a relative or good friend but, I feel for folks who stop here. Smallest portions for $16 I've ever seen. The sausage was barely lukewarm, the brisket, barely lukewarm, the coleslaw, barely lukewarm...yes you read that right. Stay away from this place. The Mrs's chicken wings were still pink on the inside, nothing of her's was hot, but barely lukewarm. Lots of door dash orders going out, so do t blame your Uber eats driver for lukewarm food, he picked it up that way.

The food was average and the staff were friendly. i was disappointed in the quality of their ribs. A BBQ place should have outstanding food and especially the ribs!!

Customer service is good, but we got a baked potato and everything minus the meat was super cold. Also, the brisket on the baked potato was completely unseasoned. Coming from Texas and wanting to find some good barbeque, we had our hopes up, but at least season with salt & pepper! We also had a pulled pork sandwich and the meat was moist but once again it was unseasoned and left both my s/o and I underwhelmed with the experience.

Went to this place for lunch. The special today was the beef brisket sandwich along with two side dishes. I selected the potato salad and baked beans. The sandwich was fantastic, plenty of brisket plus more. The sides were average, compared to Famous Dave's, their sides would be a little better than Dickie's. Overall, plenty of food and the staff was pleasant and courteous.

I get why it's called Dickey's BBQ Pit, cuz it's the pits! Ya spend 20+ dollars on a 3 meat platter that has food that is as bland as bland can be. I was the only one in here on this Sunday afternoon and nothing is stocked, the macaroni is so bad it could be from a high school cafeteria. I'd like to call it mediocre but that would be too charitable. Yuck!Go anywhere else!!!

Update. This place needs to be closed down. I got a two meat dinner with 2 sides, and the only thing edible was the fries. The ribs were like jerky. Unchewable. Tiny portion too, but I just tossed them. There were so many flies in there, and it looks like it will fold any day. I don't think anyone from higher in the company cares about this place. Feel bad for the workers, they were nice and deserve better.

Food is great, but a family pack that was said to feed 4-6 is more like 2-3, and that's without big eaters. Anyone would expect more for $75. First, and probably last time, my family of 6 will be ordering from here.

Not good at all. Wouldn't spend the money here. Corn bread super dry, chicken sandwich horrible!

I love this place but the ice cream machine was out of order noooo!!!! Otherwise the daily specials are amazing!
