I wish I could give this place negative stars. It was 100 degrees today and it felt like 110 in this hall. To make up for the lack of a proper industrial strength AC system, they brought in 2 floor fans. Thanks. In a room full of 250 people, it was like doing nothing at all. One star because they have decent parking. That's about it.

After already booking a different venue a year and 8 months in advance to our wedding date, we had a bad feeling about it and wanted to get out ASAP! I frantically was searching for new venues on Google and The Diamond Room popped up first in my search results. I looked into it and the pictures on the website sold me. It was a brand new venue opening downtown. It wasn't even fully finished. It was only 6 months to our wedding. I called and our date was open! Stephanie and Teresa were great! They had been so helpful, kind, and excited from the beginning to the very end. The venue we had booked prior was an all inclusive sort of venue so I really had to scrounge and be on the ball with booking a dj, florist, caterer, designer, etc. Stephanie suggested everything from florals to hotels to djs. We had a big guest list in the beginning and that is what attracted us to this venue. It seats up to 450 comfortably and we had just that many invited but only 250 attending. Their team transformed the space from ceremony to reception seamlessly and we are still getting compliments on the space. Everything was amazing and I highly recommend for any event. It's in such a great location downtown, up and coming restoring NoDo Omaha. Close to shops, restaurants, hotels, TD Ameritrade Baseball Stadium, bars, etc. It was very special to us and everyone at the.diamond.room, because it was the first wedding ever! We couldn't be happier with our wedding at the.diamond.room!

I was tasked with delivering 3 cakes (2 full sheets and a 3 tier) to the Diamond Room for a wedding that evening. I was told that the venue owner/ planner would be there to help or answer any questions that I had. I brought in the first sheet cake and the band (who was playing that night) held open the door for me. The owner saw that I was struggling and when I asked for help she said "absolutely not" and then explained to the prospective clients, she was showing around, that she will not be liable for anything happening to the cakes. I asked where to put them and she just pointed. I then asked if she could at least hold the door for me and again she said no as she was busy. All she had to do was ask the potential clients to wait for one moment while she propped open a door and showed me where the cakes where supposed to go.The room was beautiful due to the decorations provided by the family. The band was beyond amazing... Pat O and the Show. But that one moment of horrible customer service convinced me that I will never recommend a place that doesn't place customer service and existing clients over potential ones. S
