Mom and I ate here today and what a mistake that was. Ordered a tenderloin as the waitress said it's thicker and not paper thin. Well she was wrong as it was thinner then a pancake and over cooked. Wanted a fish but I guess the owner changed it from a nice sized one to a little square one like what they have at McDonald's. Used to be a nice sized one the last time I was there. So I got the hamburger. A very greasy hamburger where I had to run to the bathroom twice after eating it. Thank goodness mom liked what she got but my family will not be back. We were fighting flies the whole time we were trying to eat and had to look at the thick dust on the shelves and clutter they have sitting around. The food inspector really needs to visit this place.

I was driving through Iowa and needed to stop and eat before my final destination. I hadn't been here since a Thanksgiving back in college. My mom had a hankering for a hot roast beef and I for a pork tenderloin. Both hit the spot. We also got the home brewed root beer and cream soda. I am not a fan of cream soda so I won't comment on it. The root beer was fine but tasted as though it was a mix of a half root beer and half a stout. I am sure I will make a return and it won't be another 20 years.

They have buffet every Sunday which has really good servings. This place used to be a railroad station so it kinda gives you an old school vibe from inside. The service is also prompt and helpful to your needs!

The best food I ate in quite awhile. The prices were more than reasonable. I had the French dip sandwich and fries. What a wonderful taste. My wife had the club sandwich. She had a diet pepsi and I had water. The total cost was a little over $13.00 that was amazing!! For breakfast we both had a pop and a breakfast burritto. Wow that burritto was hugh and chocked full. It was so delicious we both ate every bite. The price was under $16.00. They both weighed at least 2lbs each. The staff was naturally friendly. We had a great time eating there. We will return again when we get back this way!!

A must stop every time I'm in town. Not only is the food amazing, everyone is always so nice and makes it feel like home. The best tenderloin and burger (Bills Big Boy) in all of southwest Iowa!

I got a southwest burger, my avocado was hard, not like cold hard like old hard. I love the place just need to improve the food really been lacking recently

Stopped in for breakfast. The food was excellent and the staff was very cordial. The decor was full of local history. I wish it was closer to my home but if jI am ever close by I will stop again.

Breakfast cooked by Paul will be the best made breakfast, smoked brisket on Thursday with love music always fun, also their new little potato bite things ahhh best appetizer. They just need to revamp the menu and not charge by single items.
