Dave's Cakes of Omaha

This was my first time ordering a cake from them and I was very pleased. My daughter asked me for a baby shark cake for her 3rd birthday for many many months. I tried getting a birthday cake from them for another occasion but they were booked out several weeks out so I was so excited to able to get a cake from Dave's. Make sure you don't wait till the last minute.I emailed them a picture of a cake I liked and they gave me an even better looking cake! They were quick to respond, the service was great! Not only are the cakes gorgeous, they are most importantly delicious!! Their cakes are so good even Nick Jonas had to get one when he performed in Omaha.

I am so happy This little cozy spot was on Yelp radar! Harper was so gracious and NICE! She greeted us ...helped us check in and shared with us the various options..Dean had a German chocolate cupcake piled high...it must have been made with magic dust because it made instantly disappear! It was scrumptious...I had the lemon cupcake....so very moist, fresh and full of flavor...absolutely delicious ..partly in my mouth! We will be returning to try ALL the delicious flavors ..it was difficult to decide on just one

Hands down the softest cupcakes I've ever had! I was so happy to see Yelp partnering with Dave's Cakes this month as part of their Treat O'Clock themed August for an extra reason to stop in. I was greeted by the owner, Dave upon walking in. He is so friendly, and happy to help explain all the flavors, cakes, and offerings he has at his shop. I went with the carrot cake, red velvet, pink (Dave's favorite) white sprinkle, and white chocolate raspberry cupcakes during this visit. At $2 a piece, they are totally worth it! The carrot cake was a must try for me and I highly recommend it to anyone stopping by.While it is a small shop in SW Omaha, you don't want to miss this bakery that is BIG on flavor. I will be ordering my next cake from Dave thanks to this treat courtesy of Yelp and Dave's Cakes!

Just had two of the BEST cakes I've ever had in my life. I recently got a grocery store cake for a birthday and it was just was another reminder that Daves Cakes is all you ever need to make a memorable part of your party.These custom cakes were delicious. We had both chocolate and vanilla. The design was absolutely PERFECTION, the boys we're so happy with their cakes and the guests enjoyed fresh tasting delicious moist cake with fluffy and airy butter cream. 10/10 5 stars once again for Daves

We asked Dave's Cakes to make a Taylor Swift cake for my daughter's birthday. And did they ever! She was delighted.By the way, it was delicious too.

I wanted to get a cake for my bday. I found an inspo pic on pinterest and was hoping that they would be able to re create it. They did an amazing job and brought my inspo pic to life. The service was also amazing and everyone who was working was amazing. I will be making this my new cake place for future events!!

The place looks nothing but fun from the time you step through the door. The people were polite and very creative tinkling when making my wife's birthday cake. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Everyone raved about it.

Food had a cute display. Server was so kind and friendly. Very cost effective treat! Not difficult to find.

Love finding new businesses like this! Great variety in flavors, both traditional and unique. Easy to find and dedicated parking lots in front of the business. I was promptly greeted by the owner with a smile and a hello. He was happy to explain the flavors available and engaged in some small talk as well. The business itself was smaller in size, perfect for cupcakes and cakes for take away. I'm eager to try these cupcakes!

Had the opportunity to swing by the cupcake shoppe this afternoon and my goodness, it was a treat (pun intended). Dave, the owner, was professional and polite, took the time to describe the various flavors available as well as this delicious looking Oreo Fluff that I have my eye on for next time. I opted to go with chocolate, vanilla and surprise the Mrs. with a raspberry champagne cupcake that was consumed in about 0.7 seconds when I got home. We're fans and looking forward to next time - thank you Dave!
