Exceeded every expectation!! I was flying in town for the holidays and decided to call the store from the airport. Tim answered and was very friendly and said to come in and he will help me out. I landed and went in directly from the airport. Tim took my raw stone and transformed it into a beautiful pendant! He even did it within a day, even though it was supposed to be 3 days. Dustin was also there to explain the type of rock and how it was formed. He was outstanding at informing me when I asked him questions. I HIGHLY recommend these guys and will be back next time I'm in Omaha.

If you're a rock head. This place is awesome. Best place to go in Omaha. They do jewelry design and repair. They have fossils and a huge selection of gems.

A combination rock shop and jewelry store. Giant geodes; amber jewelry; cheap silver jewelry with semiprecious stones (ask what they are; some were real; some were glass); fancy jewelry with gold and gems; Zuni style turquoise jewelry; fancy cut semiprecious gems priced by the carat (need $300 worth of fancy-cut amethyst? they'll offer you some settings); cheap elastic polished rock bracelets; mounted rock samples; a big box full of tumbled pebbles for 15 cents each; apothecary jars full of various stones in alpha order (ranging from 50 cents to $14 each); giant rock samples of quartz, etc. priced by the pound; display stands, etc. for your rocks; and tumbling equipment. I'm concerned about the lady's emerald in another user's review, but I had a lot of fun poking around. If you like rocks, you're gonna love this place.

If you need a special jewelry piece designed or repaired there isn't a better place in Omaha. Great place for stones, gems and silversmithing supplies.

I have come here for a few different reasons over the years. They are much more than a rock shop. They also do custom jewelry and and other repair work. My friend needed a wedding band made to go with her engagement ring. They took some old jewelry she had and made it into a beautiful band that looked like it was originally made to go with her ring. The last I knew they only do work with gold and not platinum. They are also able to source other stones and cuts you may be looking for. They are friendly and easy to work with.

My wife brought her wedding ring in to be resized - a ring with three bands soldered together that would need to be separated to be properly done. When they were done they proudly said they hadn't had to separate the rings, but the alignment of the stone in the bands had shifted noticeably, and upon inspection by another jeweler it was determined that one of the emeralds had chipped. Not going back.

Very nice gem and rock shop. They did a good job making a flourite heart into a necklace for me. Reasonable prices, too.

Custom Gems was the only place in town that was able to fix the clasp on my Pandora necklace. It was relatively inexpensive ($15). I really didn't want to have to buy a new necklace ($120.00)! Very happy with their work.

Great shop, friendly low pressure staff. Quality workmanship with unique designs. Large selection of gemstones and crystals. We have had repair work on a number of pieces and work was excellent. Sent many friends there and they were always happy with the services required.
