Cupcake! Omaha - Dundee Branch

We stop in for the occasional treat thanks for a monthly punch card they have to offer. My kids love getting to pick out the most fun and festive looking cupcake of the day. The shop is quaint, with one bistro table and a couple of chairs. The cupcakes are beautifully made, but flavor profile-wise, I've yet to truly be floored. I'm guessing their main jam is catering/custom cakes, and I can't speak to that part of the biz. From our experiences, the staff has been very kind and accommodating.

The cupcakes are a real treat. Tasty and a lot of flavors to choose from. Helpful service and friendly people. Cute little Dundee shop full of display cases to show of their talents .

We moved from Shreveport, LA to the Wash DC area to Omaha. In DC, we could not find cupcakes as good as Shreveport had despite Georgetown in DC having a TV-famous cupcakes place. It wasn't until Omaha that we found cupcakes better. Those cupcakes were near our house in Dundee at Cupcakes Omaha. If you want the best, you have to come here. Cookies and brownies are good, too. (Usually, places don't perfect the trifecta, like they have.)Now, sadly, we've seen the owners treating their young employees with utter contempt. Why does genius require such despicable behavior? Nonetheless, these are the best cupcakes in town, and the folks that work there are great, even if the owners are jerks.

Love these cupcakes! We live in the neighborhood so it's tempting to go here more often than we should. Every time we go in, the owner (at least I assume he's the owner) is so friendly and inviting. One time, towards the beginning of COVID, I called to see when they closed and he offered to stay open for another 20 minutes so we could run down and grab some treats. They always have a good variety of flavors and there's a little frosted center in each one. Delicious - one of my top two favorite cupcakes in Omaha and I love supporting this local business!

We always order our cakes from Chris because they are the most delicious cakes in the world! We also usually order a much larger cake than we need because we love to keep the leftovers to eat.

I am actually surprised I have not reviewed this place before. I so wanted a good cupcake and was very excited when I saw that there was easy parking and I was able to get in there, buy a couple of cupcakes and some sea salt chocolate covered caramels and get out. The man who waited on me was unbelievably nice and even though he seemed to be exhausted like I was, he was very much focused on helping me to have a better day. I will be back!

This is a really cute cupcake shop in Dundee! The cupcakes are homemade and the owner was very kind and accommodating. As far as the cupcakes go, there are around 6-8 flavors that seem to be regular flavors on display. NOTE: all of the cupcakes have filling! If you do not like filling, you must call ahead and place a custom order. I tried a lemon cupcake and the cake and lemon filling were good. I wish there was more variety, but overall it's not a bad cupcake shop!

PART OF THE DISCOVER OMAHA YELP TOUR.______________________________________________________I see this little shop every time I drive in Dundee. It was fun to go inside and peek around. BACKGROUND: the shop has been around for two years and is owned by Chris Janisak. A sweet old lady named Connie was behind the counter to greet us. DESSERTS: They specialize in cupcakes (of course) and cakes. They also make other little goodies such as candies and some macaroons. My sister purchased 3 macaroons for a friend who loves them. We didn't try them--$3 a pop is a little out there for a tinny SpongeBob krabby patty. My sister's friend loved them, which means they must be top notch. We were too sugared out at this point on the tour to eat a cupcake. Someone let me know how they taste!There is a room attached that sells different fabrics and dresses. Super interesting! ______________________________________________________PART OF THE DISCOVER OMAHA YELP TOUR. I was super excited to be chosen for the D.O.+Yelp sweets tour! The company bought our food at the Omaha Bakery and we purchased anything we wanted at the other shops we visited. D.O. is a business that drives tourists/peeps around Omaha so they can experience different restaurants in the big O! It is a nice idea for companies who have clients come into town and need a night of fun activities. This event was trying to give us a glimpse into what a trip with D.O. would look like.

Oh my goodness!! These are the best cupcakes I have eaten. Love the array of different flavors, fillings, and frostings. Super yummy, reasonably priced, and they make cakes too!

Stopped on a whim ... got the wedding cake, key lime, Carmel, Oreo and peanut butter chocolate. All were delicious. I felt there was good balance between the cake, filling and icing. Not too much of either one -- perfect blend of each. The buttercream icing is to die for. Would recommend this place for a treat! Friendly staff to boot.
