This is has been one of the few places in Omaha I can't get enough of. If I ever have a bad day at work this is the best place to grab a bite to eat and unwind. The tapas are all amazing the menu/drinks seem to change ever so often which keeps things interesting. My go to are the chicharron tacos and they never disappoint! The service is always great and bartenders are very friendly. The interior is so beautifully decorated. I would recommend this place!!

My friends and I recently ended our Saturday evening out at Cumbia and it was my first time here - I didn't even know this place existed! Our friends are regulars here though and I'm so glad they introduced us to it!It wasn't very busy when we came (about an hour before the kitchen closed) and were seated immediately. Our server was kind and funny and the service was excellent! My husband and I shared an order of the queso empanadas and an order of the yucca cheese fritters and I got a caipirinha to wash it all down! The drink was excellent - simple but very tasty. I preferred the yucca app more than the empanadas as I think they had more flavor. Both apps were served with a side of a spiced strawberry dip, which was a little too sweet for my personal taste. Our friends told us they occasionally host salsa nights and I would love to go back for that and to try more of their drinks - you have the option to add a flavor to the classic caipirinha (like passionfruit)!

Cumbia was alright. The drinks were very good. I got the ceviche and it was alright, I'm not sure what I got to eat the ceviche with, but it was overly crunchy- kind of off putting. The pork belly was kind of fatty in the tacos and it had too much bbq sauce for our taste. I did like the empanadas though! The Yuquettes were also good. The vibe was CUTE inside, probably my favorite part of the whole night.

I have driven by here before but never took the time to lookup and see what this place was all all about. I was in the area working for a client on valentines day of all days. Thankfully it was a little early around 430 when my wife and me stopped in and we didnt have reservations. Pretty cool the greeter said we could have a spot if we could make sure to keep it under 2hrs (was not busy at the time) which was perfectly fine with me. The interior is pretty small and intimate with some romantic lighting. We sat at the Bar which only has a handful of seating. The street tacos my wife ordered up looked fantastic, tasted great and i think was a really good price point for the ingrediants. The drinks were excellent and not some simple 3 step mixe. So make sure not to get frustrated with slow drinks because they really have to work to craft those! It was an awesome expierence to stop in for a quick bite and onto the next place!

I was really excited to try this place, but it wasn't my favorite. The pork belly in my tacos was really chewy it was hard to eat. It was also drowning in sauce. I'm a big sauce girl, I love bbq sauce, but it was too much even for me. Drinks were okay, but nothing special. The service was great. Our server was so nice and helped us decide on some things. The interior of the restaurant was really cute but there was a smokiness coming from the kitchen I think that made it really hard to be in there. Toward the end of dinner our eyes were burning.

Cumbia is a new experience for Old Market Omaha. It is all the best of South American cuisine and libations rolled into one. Tapas dining in an intimate atmosphere with club vibes. We ordered a variety of the menu and were impressed with each bite! Everything was a hit from Ceviche to Empanadas to chicharone tacos. The cocktails are also spot on! Palomas, pisco sours, and caipirinhas were so good and so pretty. Friendly staff made it an absolute must. Give the new kids some love and stop by.

Cumbia was a home run from start to finish! Their drinks are amazing! We started with a few orders of tacos and ended up ordering more because everyone in the group enjoyed them so much. We also ordered the yuquettes and the sweet and spicy flavor together were amazing. My husband is gluten intolerant and was able to enjoy every menu item which is so great. The servers were very attentive and were so helpful as we continued to order more options. The whole environment on Cumbria is chic but so comfortable at the same time. Love all the plants! The bathroom decor was a surprise!

I love Cumbia so much and it is one of my favorite downtown go-tos. If you're just downtown or nearby for a show at the Orpheum, definitely check this place out. The tapas are always delicious, I most recently tried their tacos and empanadas, both of which had me wanting to order more! Their drinks are also always great, with really well made, South American-influenced cocktails and more. They also have a great little list of mocktails if that's more your thing! I recently tried their tacos milkbath and really enjoyed it, with the refreshing coconut milk and lime flavors. If you're into old fashions, the one they make is also really great. The mojitos are super refreshing and you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. In the summer, the patio is a cute little place to sit, while inside is always nice with the plants and fun decor. Every time I've visited, the staff have been nothing but friendly and extremely helpful. I would always verify if it's a dietary concern, but when I visited last with someone with a gluten allergy, every food item on the menu was gluten free! I love this place so much and feel that it can be often overlooked due to maybe the location outside of Old Market, but in a great spot for those going to the Orpheum or visiting downtown.

What a pleasant surprise! Columbian food in Omaha!! This spot was close to my hotel and with possible storms, the quick walk was a draw. The pajarito (mezcal and passion fruit) may be the best cocktail I've ever had. Every dish was flavorful, balanced and over the top good. The pork belly tacos were sweeter than I expected but I love sweet so they rocked my world. The chicken was tender. The yuquettes just perfectly smooth and the jam was added an interesting sweet twist. The coffee in the cheesecake wasn't overwhelming and perfectly added to the perfect texture. This spot was perfection!! Cannot recommend this place enough so check it out if you ever have the chance to.

Great little tapas place in downtown Omaha. Wound up grabbing dinner there while on a business trip. They don't have a lot of dishes to choose from but the ones we had were very good. The patatas bravas was my favorite and the chicken tacos came in a close second. The quinoa was covered in too much cheese, which I wasn't crazy about. The dishes are easier for two people to split than three. Overall it was a nice location but wish they'd had a few more dishes to pick from.
