Country Side Village has remained a staple shopping center since I was kid. Though we didn't frequent it a lot, I echo Nicole C.'s review about their jingle, it was extremely memorbale. They've managed to stay with the times, though their facade is very dated (but in a Stars Hollow way) with stores like the simple man, and made in omaha, to inkwell, mootz pizza, and timberwood bistro, there is a lot happening on any given day. Theres a lot stores that offer a variety of services and it's centrally located right off of 84th and pacific. There is also ample parking in their lots, and I am happy to see it continue to be a main stay.

I can't ever visit Countryside Village without hearing the decades old jingle associated with it -- "Countryside Village .... a small town in the city". Since the Bookworm relocated, I don't come here that often aside from trips to Le Quartier Bakery but there are many cute shops, restaurants and businesses here. The parking lot usually seems pretty full but it's possible some of that is overflow parking from Westside High School across the street when they have events. Pretty easy to get in and out and park close to your desired location. Their website said it was built in 1953 and was on the edge of town at that time. Also : "In today's world of super-sized stores and mega-malls, Countryside Village stands out as a counterpoint. Cozy and familiar, confident but humble, easy and convenient, and above all unique."

Love this little strip mall. Good selection of shops- places to eat as well as lots of varied retail boutiques. Standouts for me are the French bakery and RSVP, an old-fashioned stationery shop. My only complaints are that the signage is getting a bit worn and dated. Time for a fresh coat of paint on everything, plus there are some potholes in the parking lot that need repairing. I'll definitely stop in here again on my next trip to Omaha to try more merchants.

Avoid at all costs. Parents of westside kids dont even think about stopping. You will be chased out of the parking lot, before you can even roll up the windows to go shop while waiting for your teen. Better suggestion invite the parents in with discounts and improve the relationship. We like to spend money but can not if we are getting thrown out of the parking lot.
