Country Cookin Cafe

Kind of an odd place, just the way I like it !!Grandma's cooking kind of place. I had a skillet, which was a very large portion It was delicious. Idk why 4 stars and not 5. Just not quite there yet ?!?!

It's not fancy. It isn't well decorated. It isn't the cleanest of cleanest places.But it's delicious.My Mom and I were traveling through the area on a 'Nebraska Road Trip' stopping at Passport locations and Geocaching. The wonderful Yelp machine helped us find this modest little hidden gem and we were quite happy! Prices: great. Portions: great. Service: pretty darn good since only ONE woman was serving the entire place. She looked so overwhelmed, but she did a good job. I got a french toast/bacon/sausage/2 egg combo and it was great. Nothing overly fancy but everything was cooked perfectly and I finished every syrup-soaked morsel. (WARMED syrup! In adorable little tin cups.) Mom got a 3 meat skillet that was covered in a sausage gravy. She couldn't finish hers. It was huge! I regret not taking pictures. ....we was hangry. Bathrooms are fine. Parking is just wherever you can get something around the nearby streets. Building is also an event center. You won't be coming for the atmosphere, but your belly will be happy.

We drove an hour because I had a craving to try a new small town cafe. I looked up a random town and found this place. The pictures looked good and the reviews sounded tasty. We pulled in 30 minutes before closing with a carload of little girls on their way to a roller skating party. 7 of us went in all excited to have some hometown cafe grub only to be greeted at the door and told they were shutting down the grill early and we had to leave. What a huge disappointment. Hopefully the Chinese place across the street will be friendlier and feed my group.

Best breakfast in town the owners are very nice and the portions are huge you definitely get your money worth

Considering there were 10 people in our group, service was fast. Food was very good. Will definitely eat there again if in the area. Prices very reasonable.

4 1/2 stars. rubens were great definitely recommend going there. buyers were also really great. fries were kind of mid though

The food was horrible and the price was very expensive. My hash browns were soggy and full of oil. And the bacon tasted very old and burnt. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

Very Friendly staff. Food is very good. Very home style cooking. They serve breakfast and lunch.

Very good meal for the money. Varied menu, small town atmosphere, good service. Not fancy but well cared for. Have gone back several times. The skillets are a good value. Good food, reasonably fast with still being home cooked.
