Country Club of Lincoln

A really stunning, service-forward Club in the heart of Lincoln. We were here as guests of Capitol City Electric for their Christmas party & again for a private birthday party in April. The food was beyond phenomenal for each buffet : a fresh fruit platter that looked straight out of the tropics, mind-blowing smoked salmon, chicken satay, meatballs, shrimp, a phenomenal prime rib carving station and a trio of desserts to choose from! The service, somehow, was better than the food - servers were close at hand to bus tables, refill drinks and answer questions. The event manager here was in the room the *entire* time for each event to oversee everything - super impressive service.

Hell on earth. Poor management, mediocre course, nightmare members. The employees are lovely, but you can tell their morale is bottomed out when they're there. I'm so sick & tired of people in Lincoln acting like big shots. It's like people get a little bit of money & they think they're the coolest cat in town. Stop it with the notion that rich people have to be difficult & rude. Tip your servers! A smile goes a long way.
