I haven't used the weight facilities but my daughter took swimming lessons here a little while ago and it was a good experience.The swimming teachers were nice and had an actual agenda for each day, which was great. (Some classes at other places just do whatever.)Overall, my daughter and I liked the swimming classes. I would join the YMCA but over $40 a month is a tad pricey.

ZERO STARS It is the most stupidest fucking thing to have to make people schedule to swim or walk Then there's no where to play like water ball, basketball in the pool, and there's not a area for older people that don't know how to swim yes I'm 27 and don't know how to swim I CANT FIND OUT Y I CANT CANCEL MY MEMBER SHIP I set up my membership a week ago never got a tour and didn't find out I had to schedule a appointment to swim

I am not a member but take my young daughter to the swimming classes. We have been through a number of them and the instructors and pool managers were all very good at what they do and are perfect at interacting with young children (and their parents). I will be sending her back with the new facility open and her a bit more ready for the lesson, but my primary fear is the lack of parking. I have been to the church next door in the evenings and finding a parking spot on the street is impossible (I assume since their parking lot is full). I also see that their pool is only 3 lanes now too (I do see that they are utilizing the Kirn pool now too, but in the late evening).

I am absolutely love the new building and all the classes offered are great. It is nice to see the parking lot full most days. Not going to complain about parking knowing they are working on that problem. The staff are always ready to help in anyway they can.

I've been a YMCA member now for about a year. The building is super old, but I won't complain about that because they are in the midst of building a new one. i enjoy the classes, and feel like it's a non-judgmental place to work out. They offer a nice variety of classes and equipment. I never feel "without." Parking used to be a problem, but now I can park across the street in a lot for no charge. Downside:At busy times, equipment might be all in use. One of the trainers in the weight lifting room made me feel like a total idiot. He corrected my posture and was a little cocky about it. I won't go in there any more. One of the instructors for Zumba subpar. I've voiced my opinion about this as well. From talking to others that used to go to Zumba, and they no longer attend. Jordan teaches turbokick and Insanity- both of which are awesome classes. I also attend Suzanne's Body Pump, cycling, and yoga class awesome, and I like that as well.

People bring their kids and just let them run wild. I dont know how many times Ive seen people have to stop what they were doing so they didnt hurt themselves or the kid as they ran around in the weight area. Ive seen kids dribble basketballs around the track for a half hour annoying everyone. Staff did nothing. After school it turns into a giant day care center. They continued to charge everyone during the covid shut down. Every other gym in the country suspended everything, but not the Y. And its pretty expensive if you dont do the classes or swim or any of that. Even the parking sucks. Half the time you have to park on the street 2 blocks away. And if you cancel your membership they always charge you an extra month. If you like paying way too much for a crowded gym with kids everywhere getting in the way then this is the gym for you.

If I could give a zero I would. Customer service is absolutely terrible, I was told my account was canceled over the phone twice but still ended up being charged 26 dollars twice. The gym it's self is fine but the management is lousy. My recommendation to whoever is training people to pick up the phone GIVE THEM THE CORRECT INFORMATION! I need a refund and a canceled account it shouldn't be that hard this is absolutely ridiculous.

My first time there, my clothes were stolen out of a locker. Staff allowed me to wear a towel home. Besides the fact that the pool was only 3ft 4 inches deep. Will never return.

Horrible customer service. Front desk are very rude and stuck up. Only used my account a few times tried to cancel they made it very difficult. There's a reason I only used it once equipment is dirty the same with bathrooms and changing rooms. The pool is mediocre overall service it's crap and disappointing facilities.
