My husband and I had been Costco members for years, and last year decided to try and give Sam's Club a chance. Let me tell you, once that year was up, we came back like prodigal children to our Costco and are never looking back! The folks at the Membership desk at the front of the store are so nice (when we first became members and when we came back to renew our old membership). They will definitely try to upsell you on the Gold Membership, but my husband and I are just two people, so that didn't make sense for us. It would be good for a large family though with big shopping trips each week. One huge thing we noticed at Costco vs. Sam's Club, is that there was a lot more variety at Costco, especially in the frozen foods and the bakery. Everything is so fresh - my husband is a grape fiend and he says their grapes are the best in town.Another thing Sam's Club didn't have are the SAMPLES! We have bought items at Costco because we sampled it at one of the sample stands, more than I'd like admit. They have samples of everything - soups, dips, snacks, meats - everything!Speaking of having everything, Costco is literally a one-stop shop, with just about everything you could ever need. Produce, dairy, meat, housewares, clothes, furniture, optical exams/glasses, tire rotations. You basically could live in Costco and never have to leave. And lastly, my favorite part of being a Costco member again - their cafe! The pizza slices are so cheap, but still tasty and HUGE. A slice of pizza and a soda is still about $3 total. I could see this being dangerous if I worked at Costco and ate there every day - it's just that good!I'd say if you are considering joining Costco but aren't sure, or are deciding between Costco and Sam's Club - definitely give Costco a try for a year, and you will be a lifer for sure.

I am a big Costco fan and it's not even very close to my house. Open most days, except holidays, Costco does require annual membership to participate in their savings program. Sometimes customer service will allow a one-day pass so you can check it out if you're not already a member to see if it's a fit. Large parking, lots and large shopping carts makes access easy! I like the convenience of getting my Costco card through their app. While vendor coupons are not accepted there are special savings offered on a rotating and regular basis. Many items offered in book are a good deal, particularly for pantry staples, but be sure to check that book pricing is the best deal around.

I am such a dad that even on a road trip, I cannot resist the urge to stop at Costco. I mean what bulk item do I need that badly that I need to stop here while on a vacation? Well, I didn't have to stop here, but, well, why not?The truth is we needed gas and who does it better than Costco? Also, we needed diapers, too. Both could have been sourced elsewhere, but I can't help myself. This Costco is similar to pretty much any other location, very well stocked, and staffed with friendly people. I think we ended up here because it was easy to get to from the highway and not too far from downtown where we were staying. One small downside is that the gas station is very small, it does not have as many pumps as my local Costco in Minneapolis.

They just went up on their membership cost, the first time in seven years. And now more than ever, we need their great prices. Friendly people, fabulous selection, and clean clean clean all round out the list of why I still love this store after all these years.

Costco gas seems like the busiest station around. Likely because it's generally the cheapest. The place can be a pain to get in when it's super busy but it generally moves pretty quick. The hoses really stretch so if you fill is on the wrong side of the pump no worries, use either

Made me feel like crap and dismissed me when all I needed to do was go take a photo go take a photo !!!! Woman chill you're a manager at Costco dream bigger. I went to the other one and they're always so nice and so sweet. They apologize on the behalf of these people that work at this place and I took my pretty picture... this place is always dirty. Employees are rude. Do yourself a favor and go to the other one. Don't waste your time at this one.

We love going to Costco for our staples: bulk meat, frozen fruits/veg, protein drinks, egg whites. You truly save money buying stuff like that at Costco! Best time to go is after work on Mondays & Fridays. It's nearly empty (although FYI you won't get any free samples).Always stop by the food court for quick dinner.. two big hotdogs, two drinks, and a huge slice of pizza for under $6.

Costco gasoline is consistently 20-30 cents below other retail gas stations. This Costco Fuel generally has very long lines so plan to spend at least 20 minutes or more at peak hours.

Poor customer service in the hearing aid department. In fact employee has been extremely rude every time I have interacted with her. Manager said that she or another manager would meet with me to discuss concerns but didn't show up at my appointment so I just returned the aids.
