These people have been to where I work 4 times in a few weeks and still nothing has been resolved. It's the middle of winter and they can't fix our heat. Had the same issue last year where it took multiple visits to fix the issue. It seems to me it's part of their business model. Make as many trips to places as possible do low quality work so they call back and we can bill them more. Never will use this company for where I live.

Controlled comfort replaced our 25 year old furnace with brand new. The guys that came into our home were nothing but the best! They did great work, and cleaned up after themselves! I will use them again! Thanks! Chris and Michelle

Never use this company! EVER! They came to our house to fix a gas leak in our utility closet but never fixed the problem. Black Hills Energy confirmed there were still four leaks at the main manifold. And then they said we would have to pay full price for them to come back out and fix the problem immediately after they supposedly fixed this issue. Would not recommend.

I called Controlled Comfort 1:00 PM because my furnace was running, but not giving me any heat. By 2:00 PM service technician was here, and by 3:00 PM he had fixed my furnace, and the house is warm again. Thank you Controlled Comfort for fast service. Your service technician was very polite, friendly, and a all-round nice guy. Great job

We purchased a furnace and air-conditioning system from Complete Comfort Heating and Cooling 2 years ago. The experience of buying a new system was actually not a hard thing to do. Jeff and Mike did a great job explaining what system would work best for my home. I appreciated their honesty and integrity. Our unit was installed in one day. The installers were very respectful and really did a great job. Every 6 months I have Complete Comfort do the maintenance on our system thru a service agreement and could not be happier. I have peace of mind when I think of my new system. My heating and cooling bills are reduced now because of the new system. Today their maintenance technician DJ came right on time and did a great job telling me exactly what he was going to do. I strongly recommend Complete Comfort to anyone for their heating and cooling needs. Finally, when you call their office Stephanie will take care of your questions in a professional and friendly way.Phil M.

My AC went down I called 5 different companies and left messages. Controlled comfort was the only one who picked up and I spoke with an actual employee who was very nice and understanding of my problem. They came out right away the next day. James explained everything clearly and was very helpful and courteous. I had Burton out in the spring for their 69.00 furnace and drain cleaning. What a sham. They should have caught that I was low on refrigerant. Instead they left me with 20k in furnace and plumbing problems that they pointed out. I had to get another plumber out that next week be my problem wasn't fixed on my toilet. They told me I needed a replacement toilet when my 1 year old had a toothbrush down there the whole time. Burton is a bunch of crooks. I will always call controlled comfort. Thanks for your service and honesty.

I've had similar problems with CC as the other reviewers. I had a problem with my furnace where it would try to start (could here the clicking sound), then it would stop. A few seconds later it would try to start again (clicking for a few seconds), then stop. After anywhere from 3-6 attempts, it would either finally start or stop trying. If it stopped trying, I had to shutoff and turn back on, then the process would start again. I learned 3 years ago, this was caused by a dirty flame sensor, as I had the same issue. I called CC to come out and told them what the problem was. I was expecting them to just clean the flame sensor (as they did 3 years ago). I left them to do their work, when I came back, they had taken the flame rods out of the furnace and were "cleaning" it. Now, I already knew the furnace was old and had a possible small crack in a heat exchanger, and was going to need replacing within the near year or so. When they put everything back together again, the furnace started, but every time it did, a flame shot out the front of one of the flame rods. The technician could not figure out what was causing this, had to continually call his boss. I had to leave for the airport as it was nearing Christmas, so I left the technician to work on the problem and told him to call me with status updates. He called several hours later, saying he had fixed the problem, and my furnace was working fine now. When I returned from my trip, I noticed the same problem, both with the flame sensor and the flame shooting out the front. Called CC back, they sent another technician out. He couldn't completely fix the flame problem, but made it such that it doesn't happen every time. A week later, I received two bills, one for each technician. I called CC to complain. I told them, I explained the original problem to the first tech, and told him the flame sensor probably just needs cleaning. CC tells me it's standard practice to look at the whole furnace when fixing a problem, including cleaning the flame rods, etc. I told CC, the flame shooting out of the furnace was not happening before I called them. I asked why I'm paying for a problem their techs caused? Not once but twice, and neither knew how to fix it. They just kept telling me my furnace was old and the CO level was going to be an issue if the furnace wasn't replaced soon. I have a very good CO monitor in my house, that measures very low amounts, and it wasn't picking up anything major. After arguing with CC several times, the manager finally agreed to split the second bill, so I would only pay half. I shouldn't have had to pay the second bill at all. A week later, I called out a friend who does handyman work, told him my problem. He pulled the flame sensor and cleaned it...problem solved; took all of 10 minutes. I agree with other reviews, where it seems like they purposely leave things in a semi-broken state, to make you call them out again. That or their technicians aren't really competent enough to repair furnaces.
