I booked a spa pedicure for my birthday and really enjoyed the experience. The pedicure chairs are located at the back of the salon so you walk through a busy area of people having their hair done until at the stations. On a Saturday there was a lot of activity so if you are looking for a more tranquil and quiet experience this may not be your spot but the service was very friendly, the facility was clean and I was really happy with my result.Due to the service I booked they immediately brought me ice cream and a cupcake which was really considerate (albeit a bit more sugar than I wanted at 9am).The prices were reasonable and the service was great overall!

Concepts has been providing hair and nail service to our family of 4 since we relocated to Omaha 30 years ago. They cut our daughter's hair for the 1st time; cut, colored & styled for family weddings, prom & date nights. My eldest flew home from college & her first engineering job in Michigan multiple times because "Traci is the best!". When Traci, who'd styled our hair for 15 years, wasn't available prior to her wedding, the owners called to apologize and bent over backwards to set us up with a fantastic substitute. They ensured each of us had the wonderful experience we've become accustomed to. Her cut & color were beautiful! With my new color & highlights I looked and felt ten year younger.Concepts gives us their full attention today as they did when we brought in 8 little girls for a "princess party" 20 years ago! Their staff receives ongoing education so they are on top of new styles, materials and retail. With each service you either receive a makeup application, mini-mani or pedi. The scalp massage received with each hair & nail service is so relaxing. If you are looking for a reliable salon/spa for your whole family, (husband included!), Concepts is your answer.

When you're a "basic" Mom that doesn't spend tons of money on your hair or hair products sometimes you just want a nice haircut without feeling like you need to buy $6349856283 dollar shampoo to go along with it.Enter Concepts Salon.Friendly, Non-Pretentious, Non-Salesy, and overall you feel extremely welcomed and comfortable being there.Manicured nails or chewed on nails? No problem!No makeup or well put done? They don't care!This is for the mom who rolls out of bed, picks up a Starbucks after school dropoff, wears athleisure 99% of the time, tries to eat healthy, and can show up for a haircut not having showered in 2 days...not that I know this personally or anything.A sharp cut above the "cheap" haircut places, but you don't need to take out a second mortgage to go here either.I saw Angie and she is wonderful (and worth the wait) if you decide on her! Very friendly, non-gossipy, and shows a genuine interest in you.11/10 would recommend!

Awesome location, the inside is very aesthetic, neatly spaced and decorated. Prices aren't terrible, my only eh was the dresser cutting my bangs a bit short when getting them done but otherwise my experience was lovely. They offer a ton of services and I could see that they really try to connect with their customer while there. 7/10!

Wonderful salon! My son and daughter have had their haircuts here their whole lives. Everyone is extremely patient and always make it such a memorable experience for them. Thank you for always taking such great care of your clients!

They stack color prices. One for your base andone for highlights. What a riff off and the colorist didn't even get the colors right

Two stars only because I'm nice. they completely ruined my sons hair. It looked very splotchy and uneven.. my daughter and husband noticed it as soon as they saw my 4 year old. They didn't want me to send a photo so they can see just how bad it is. Unfortunately we have an event that's at 5 (one hour) and they are going to make us late because we have to take him back. So embarrassing! They did offer to fix it but I'm not sure if it'll even be good since they couldn't get it right the first time. We asked for a refund because we would need to go to another place for them to fix it but they said no.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was looking for a new salon near my house and was drawn in by the few positive reviews on yelp. I gave my inspo picture and sat through a 3 hour "balayage" that did not turn out how I wanted. I asked the salon if I could come back in to make some adjustments to get the color as I wanted, since I spent almost $250 on the color. When I went back, my hair was dyed two different shades of brown (see image below - the two different colors are so similar they look like one color). I asked for a price breakdown, as I was confused why the process was reversed given how much I paid originally. I was not given one. My stylist called the manager over in an attempt to explain the pricing, yet I was told "$250 is cheap for a balayage in West Omaha" (as if that was an answer) and "your hair looks nice so what's the problem?" The problem is, hair styling is a CUSTOMER service industry and I did not get what I asked for. I never raised my voice, simply asked why I was charged the price I was for what I received. As you can tell from the photos, the style I left with is far and away from a $250 price point. The manager laughed at me (like I was stupid for questioning her), took my robe off, and told me that I could leave. I was in shock; she literally kicked me out of the salon for wanting an explanation for the price and for expressing that I was still not happy with the color. I am a professional who lives and works in West Omaha and have never in my life been treated like a criminal and with such disdain for simply asking for a price breakdown. I am happy to pay those prices (and have at other salons) if I actually get the color I asked for. The moral of the story is... you can get better color literally anywhere in Omaha (not just West Omaha as the manager sneered to me, as if West Omaha is somehow better than anywhere else? Or perhaps if you go to a salon in West Omaha you can be charged a certain price for substandard work?) I'm sure they give a great hair cut for the elderly and children (most of the clientele I saw while I was in there for six hours) but if you are looking for ANY level of sophistication in your hair style.... RUN far away.

I NEVER write reviews, but this experience warrants a review. No one is expected to be perfect, but it is expected to be amicable to clients who are upset with the service given. The service industry faces a lot of backlash which can be unfair, but this backlash is far from unfair. It is so disappointing that this salon cannot own up to a mistake. The management is terribly unprofessional and I would not recommend this salon to anyone. So unfortunate. I hope that there is some serious reconsideration in who this salon employs.
