Contracted to have a patio door replaced. Was assured that it could be ordered & delivered in 2 weeks. Had a tight time schedule but had 4 weeks to work with. They did not order it as promised & it took 3 weeks for it to arrived but then could not be installed til the following week. We had to leave town before the door was installed & did not see finished installation. Was informed by our realtor & prospective buyers that the door was not installed properly having a gap at one corner to allow air and bugs to enter the house. Company was informed & did nothing. Then when the bill was not paid within 10 days, they charged a 1.5% interest & called us delinquent. After another 10 days (20 days after installation), they charged another 1.5% interest and put a lien on our property. We made the final payment in full within 28 days of installation because the property had been sold & we did not want to delay the closing. The office manager sent numerous nasty invoices and e-mails & even called our realtor & his manager harassing them for the payment. We had done business with this company in the past, and they knew we were good reliable customers. I have worked with contractors for over 40 years as we have numerous rental properties, and have never been treated so poorly. Lots of promises and no follow up on problems or interest in good customer service.
