Pretty good place. Few of the bartendettes are conversational, and if you are really easy on the eyes. Some of the locals get loud and swear a lot, which I don't search for for an evening drink of relaxation.

My neighborhood staple. Love the owners and bartenders. Feels like my very own "Cheers". A bit pricey on some drinks compared to the same drinks in comparable bars in the same part of town.

First time walking into this place proved to be....weird. The lead bartender spent more time worrying about going outside to smoke, while one of the cocktail waitresses black dress was all but allowing her tits to pop out. It was so bad that two older guys sitting at the bar were literally humping the bar. Our server, however, was super nice and chatty. I wish I could of got her name to give her props. Also is $3.75 the going rate for a can of beer, really?

Our server and the bartenders were quick and friendly. It's a shame that the other customers weren't all too welcoming. We stopped in before heading out on a Friday night and were made fun of for "going to a dive bar all dressed up."

Great place! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The bartender was fun and service was fast with strong drinks at reasonable prices. The 20-something blonde cock tail waitress was beautiful, outgoing and friendly. It had a very social, mature vibe. The layout is comfortable but open with a sunken bar and plenty of seating options, whether you want to pull up a stool or grab a table with some friends. The patrons were all really friendly and interesting. Plenty of TVs positioned through out the lounge, to catch the game or fight. Over all excellent establishment, which I highly recommend.

Great atmosphere! I love stopping in here because the crowd is always different, but there's still never any rowdy frat boy billy frogs crowd here. The bartenders and servers are all really fun, and keep the drinks flowing all night.

We stopped there on St. Patricks day in the early evening. I started around noon and decided to drink water for a bit to slow down a bit and hydrate. One of my friends ordered a round of drinks and a water for me. I finished my water and asked the bartender for a refill. They told me it would be a dollar! A DOLLAR to refill an empty cup with water?? I told the bartender how ridiculous that was. After a short exchange the owner stepped in and asked what my problem was. I explained that all I wanted was a refill of water in my empty cup. She was very rude and told me that I had to buy a bottle of water. I was taking a short break from drinking and eventually would have ordered an entire round of drinks for my friends, however they decided to lose an easy sale over a $1 refill of water. OUT OF PRINCIPLE, I REFILLED MY CUP IN THE BATHROOM!! That's right, Cohen & Kelly's have lost my business for ever over a refill of water!!!! SMH!!!

My new favorite dive bar! We stopped into this place on the most cliché day of the year, and still had a blast! Yes, St. Patty's Day. This bar has about as diverse of a crowd as any dive-bar loving person could ask for. The old Irishmen sit at the bar sipping Jameson, while people of all ages flutter around. It's just dark enough in here to be super cozy, and the bartenders have a warmth to them that you just don't see everywhere. Did I mention their drink strength rivals the Green Onion? Standing there waiting for a drink, I talked to the cutest 50-ish couple ever, who told me they feel like someone's really "taking care of them" when they are at Cohen and Kelly's. The wife said she'd even come sit there for a drink by herself, if her hubby was out of town. She was sure that nothing bad could happen to her! Folks, this is the type of place that will die off if not supported- LONG LIVE THE DIVE BAR!Just one thing holding it back from five stars- it's cash only- my biggest pet peeve!

Beautiful ambiance good cigars great band no single lady's but nice nice otherwise beautiful patio selection of cigars top shelf! Drinks reasonable bring a date have a blast

Every time I come in the bartenders and servers make me feel welcome. It's one of my favorite places to go in Omaha! I have never had a bad experience . Great pours for the drinks doesn't take long for you to feel the value in the drink. Even on extremely busy days the service has been prompt and on point.
