Clio

We were finally able to get into Clio, and let me tell you, I understand the hype!When you walk in you are met by and earth mediteranean vibe that makes toy feel as though you were transported to a local greek resteraunt. The colors and lighting paired with the round tables made sure that you would enjoy not the food, but your company as well. The food is DELICIOUS. As I am writing this, I am wishing that I could take another bite. To drink I got a sprtiz was was tasty, but the real magic was in the food. We started with beats over a dill spread with crunchy toasty pistachios on top. We then got a lamb that was served with a place of other sides and toppings. The lamb was so tender it was falling off the bone and was packed with flavor. The light sides offered a very well balanced flavor profile that filled me up without making me feel as though my stomach would explode. The service was good! Our waitress had good recommendations and was very attentive. We loved our experience at Clio!

We had a lovely lunch at Clio. I'm going to give it 4 stars though because I feel like there is a lot of hype about this place and people are aren't really noticing things that otherwise might bother them.One thing I thought was really odd was that the stuffed date appetizer (which is delicious and is very popular) - well, it's meant to be shared, it's even in a cute rotating serving dish for sharing. But...it comes with one large piece of oil-saturated bread. My daughter and I took turns biting it but obviously that would not work at all with some situations. The sauce is delicious. Some individual wedges of pita bread would make so much more sense. We got the kafta kebab, I would choose something different next time since this was a lot greasier than I have had in other restaurants.The beets were absolutely delicious, whipped feta sauce. Will definitely get those again.The iced tea was very good. I was disappointed to not be offered a refill as it was $6 and was mostly ice. Speaking of; my daughter got a tasty mocktail but wow, that huge ice cube in the glass. There wasn't room for much else in there. Service was very friendly and helpful other than the lack of drink refill.The decor - l like these little cubbyholes with the vases and other objects. But the way the central column has been wrapped with a massive amount of fake leaves - I absolutely hate this. The reason I was not in a rush to come try this place out was because even from the outside it just looks so tacky, it seems like it will be dusty and gross in no time, along with all the other leafy stuff hanging there. I can't really explain (even to myself) why this bothers me so much, considering that a lot of my favorite restaurants are actually not nearly as clean as this place is. But when anyone mentions Clio my mind immediately goes to this.The food overall was really good. If you have histamine intolerance you might want to take an antihistamine first. But that is not an issue for most people so this is not a criticism - a LOT of The Best Foods are high-histamine - just an FYI.

I've heard a lot of amazing reviews of Clio, despite its very recent opening. I was so glad to get to go with some girlfriends for a Valentine's Day lunch during the week.The vibe inside is so much fun, very unique and Mediterranean feeling. They did an amazing job transforming this old wheatfield's location, it was hard to picture of what it used to look like despite being in there several times! The service was great, everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. The food was also amazing, very vibrant colors so every plate looked exceptional before even taking the first bite! I will say, I will not get the beef kebab again. The texture of the beef seemed to be across between beef and sausage, very high fat , different than pieces of straight beef that I expected. This could be a personal preference, or that I am not used to this style of cuisine in general, so it is likely not the fault of the restaurant! The sides all tasted amazing, the rice in particular had an excellent flavor, as did all the vegetables on the side. I wish I had three times the serving of these side dishes!I was also able to try the four spreads, and these all tasted great. The goat cheese was our favorite! The texture of the pita bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping in the spreads. I would love to come back again, but will not get the beef kebab. Every other dish I saw, looked great!

Had an amazing first time at Clio! Their happy hour menu at lunch is very affordable if that's stopped you before. I split the 4 spreads (I think the baba ghanoush was my fav) and some crispy potatoes with my friend and they were all amazing. The service was great, our waiter was super nice and attentive and even wrapped up all our leftover food for us. The restaurant itself is super cute, I had to snap a pic because it's like nothing else in Omaha :)

Super cute atmosphere - booths and chairs were all very cute and comfy, not a bad seat in the place. Very cute and yummy drinks (we got the sangria and the Amerena) For starters we got the hummus (AMAZING) The potatoes were a little too crispy and not enough sauce Orzo, great little pieces of sausage and veggies with it, but the hummus was still better The large plate we got was the roasted veggies, amazing spread, great taste, and I was STUFFED by the end Our waitress was also very sweet and took great care of us

Clio is an absolute gem! We came here for our anniversary dinner, and it was a perfect choice. The food was fantastic--everything we tried was flavorful and fresh, but the standout for us was the 4-spread platter. Each spread was so delicious, and it was the perfect way to start our meal.The staff went above and beyond to make our night special. They even had a handwritten card waiting on our table, signed by the team. Such a thoughtful touch! Bonus points because the restaurant itself is so cute!

This place was so good! I really like Mediterranean and it didn't disappoint. It's probably one of the cutest restaurants downtown. We went on a frigid day and the atmosphere was an immediate mood booster. Our server was very nice, gave us recommendations, and was very attentive. I asked for my martini extra dirty and it was perfect. I can't choose a favorite spread because they were all incredible and the pita was soooo good.

Fantastic food and excellent service! I love all the vegan/ vegetarian options. Absolutely gorgeous interior decor. Loved it! It's my new FAVORITE!

I called the day before I need reservations and the women was so pleasant and helpful to get me in at the time I wanted. We got there and it is a beautiful space and she had remembered my last name. We sat down and our waiter was prompt and we ordered drinks. The sticky part was one of us has very strict guidelines to what she can and can't have. For allergic reactions reasons- he was so diligent and helpful coordinating with the chef and making sure she could have or not have what we were looking to share. This place is GORGEOUS! I love the design and decor. My friend and I went for happy hour and decided on all 4 spreads. We requested veggies & the sourdough pita. The homemade sourdough pita was AMAZING! I ate every last bite. The spreads were very good. The garlic one was my favorite. The sausage dates (not pictured) were good but I would venture out and get something else next time. We also had the cardamom espresso martini. I prefer a regular espresso martini but this was a nice twist. Our server was so nice and gave us some great suggestions. Can't wait to go back and try more!
