My case was tricky: wanted a wood stove in my basement so installation required putting the pipe through the roof and ground level floor. The competitor company said it is not possible... Scott did a great job figuring it out. He was also very respectful of my home, making sure to clean up after himself and leaving the area even better than he found it.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from this company. They were professional, efficient, and took great care to ensure that everything was done right. Scott's expertise and attention to detail really shone through in the final product, and I couldn't be happier with my new wood stove.If you're in the market for a wood stove installation, I highly recommend giving this company a call. Rebuilding after water damage from fro pipes in December. A new fireplace was need Dan & Anth took superior care. Dan guided us to the bestfire for our personal style. Anthony took great care with the installation and was so very nice. Five Stars 100% satisfaction.

We purchased a Broilmaster gas grill from Claxton's Fireplace Center in 2006 or 2007. The burner in the bottom of the grill had rusted out so when we grilled it was more like cooking over a campfire! I called them and they were able to order the part I needed. The grill had a lifetime warranty so they just charged me for postage. They came and installed it today and since it took 30 minutes he only charged me half an hour instead of the whole hour! Who does that anymore? I so appreciate a business that sells quality products and has high integrity!

What a great company to work with. I have been fortunate enough to have been dealing with them since about 2010 when I bought my post mount Broilmaster gas grill from them and I still love it. They brought it out and installed it precisely on schedule and did a very professional job. About 6 years ago the fan in my fireplace quit working and even though the manufacturer had gone out of business the man I spoke to then Mike Longworth told me not to worry they had the fan and it would be no problem to take care of it. Their installation man Walter brought the fan and installed it and really knew what he was doing And it still works perfectly. Today I brought the burner that had finally burned out in from the Broilmaster grill and Mike said it was covered under warranty exchanged it for a new one. This company and the staff I have been fortunate enough to meet are all so professional that it would be very hard for me to think of going any place else.

We have had a Claxton-installed fireplace in our home for several years now, and love it. We routinely have it serviced to ensure it is fully operational. Twice In the past three years, shortly after full servicing, a part failed resulting in the pilot light not staying on and our fireplace being inoperable. In the most recent incident, our fireplace was inoperable from mid-December until late January (in the winter when you need to have a fireplace). After the most recent fireplace failure, I could not get anyone to answer the phone, respond to our calls, or get any satisfaction at all on a faulty part that failed less than a month after the fireplace had been fully serviced. This ridiculously poor level of service is not representative of the company, but it took my direct involvement with the technician who last serviced our fireplace and the owner to get it resolved. As much as I would love to give a glowing review to Claxton, I am challenged to do so because of this incident. As mentioned, this is the second time in three years the same part has failed less than a month after the fireplace was cleaned and routinely serviced. I have pointed out to Claxton several times that I thought the part being received must be faulty. I could not get anyone to agree that the problem was a bad part that had been installed, or perhaps due to the servicing of our fireplace.After numerous phone and text messages, our fireplace was repaired, and while we were not charged for the replacement part, we did have to pay for the service call. It now operates normally. Again, I would love to this company a glowing, top-notch review, but this incident really has me soured on them.

Contracted with Claxton to repair a chimney and install mesh wiring. Chris, their technician, was friendly and professional. He took the time to inspect the chimney, explain the problem and tell me exactly how he was going to fix it. He took before and after photos. The service was reasonable. And was hundreds of dollars less than a another estimate we received. Several years ago, they also installed a gas fireplace in our basement. I recommend Claxton for these services.

Justin can to service the linear gas fireplace in the home we just purchased. It had not been service in some time. He was prompt, super knowledgeable answered all my questions. The fireplace look like new! Definitely plan to use him again!

Cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Claxton! From consultation to quote to installation the team was professional and helpful. The installation team in particular went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. It was a pleasure to work with them. I was particularly impressed to hear they had recently attended a training by the vendor who made the insert we purchased. Great to see a small business make continuing education available (and a priority) to their team. Thank you for making the process so effortless and enjoyable for us!

The team at Claxton is top notch! Best grills in Omaha!Three different technicians came to my house for project work; one to service my grill (it is 10+ years old, purchased from Claxton) and it is working great. The other two; one for patching a hole in my wall and the other to replace some old grout. All three were courteous and all did excellent work.As often happens with construction projects, the origional scheduled time for the grout work was missed b/c the project before me was running long.... That's okay, they communicated with me and we got rescheduled and everything is perfect.These people really care and they do great work!
