There were times when I was not able to find available Uber or Lyft rides, so I tried using City Taxi - and it did not disappoint! The first time I used this service, the driver gave me an ETA and arrived right on time. The cost is about the same as going through Uber or Lyft, too - just be sure to have cash with you since that is the only form of payment accepted.I have used this taxi service several times since (scheduling a ride ahead of time) and the driver always arrived 10-15 minutes early, each time saying "I never want the passenger to have to worry if I am going to show up or not." The driver was also careful to take the shortest route each time so I would not be charged extra. Great customer service!City Taxi took precautions in response to COVID-19, as well. The driver was equipped with masks and the car had a clear tarp separating the driver and the passenger seats.If you need a ride, I recommend using City Taxi!

Literally the absolute worst taxi service I've ever experienced, and that includes my trip through India. Horrendous. Avoid. I seriously chose to walk 5 extra miles because a. The car was late. B. These people don't have licenses.I am the most pro immigration person in the fucking world, but it's cold, and ive been outside for a solid hour I'm from Abu Dhabi.. this ssssshhhhhitttt does not happen.

My husband and I refuse to drink and drive. It's all about karma for us. I am responsible for your safety on the road, just as you are for mine. So, we will use a Taxi once or twice per month. We have used, and been very disappointed by, the big taxi service here in town. So, we decided to start using City Taxi a year or so ago.The drivers are more friendly and don't try to pick up on me like the last place we used, they take the shortest route (they don't drive out to BFE to run up the meter like the other place we used), and the cars are always clean. I recommend this company and will likely use it again......unless we stop drinking when we go out...hahahahaha lol!

I had a reserved pickup at 6:05 am today 10/28/2020 from Justin to take me to the Omaha Lazer institute to have surgery on my eyes. I had told Justin how important this was as you can't drive after surgery and need him to wait(While I paid) so he could take me home also. At 615 I called to see why he wasn't there and there was he didn't bother to answer and his mailbox was full. He sent me a text later saying he had to work later than he thought like that was some kind of excuse. He didn't even bother to call me to say he was not going to show up knowing how important this was to me. It was a total lack of service on his part and apparently he didn't care. This type of service will now make me NEVER use City Taxi again and I will tell everyone I know not to use them also. You just can't get any more unprofessional than that. There is never a reason not to take 15 seconds and call if someone isn't going to make their commitment. It just shows what type of person he is

I guess he just accepts rides and doesn't start driving.I waited Fifteen minutes after he said he'd be here Right after I called him, so it's not like you forgot.He just chose not to show up And when I told him I was going to the courthouse.I think he'd actually drive me.

Totally unreliable. I called a day ahead and made an appointment for a pickup at my apartment. The driver simply never showed up. I called the company twice while waiting and they had no explanation or backup driver. They just said "we don't know where he is and he doesn't answer his phone." That's the level of people they hire. In the first call, the dispatcher claimed he would call me back right away but I waited with no call, so I finally called back myself. Still no service. I stood in front of my building for half an hour with no ride. I had to scramble at the last minute to get to work. My supervisor was understanding or I could have been written up. I have no idea how this company has any 5 star reviews but I have a hard time believing those are genuine. I wouldn't use this company again in a million years.

I'd give this cab service a no stars this is the worst taxi I had an interview at Goodwill and they never picked me up I called 4 times and the owner acted as if he never knew me. I had to reschedule my interview for my job. I'm going to tell all my friends don't use this taxi service.

I've never been told to "f" off by a company but it actually happened! I've recently moved from London (England) to Omaha as a military family and have never been spoken to with such venomous distain! I ordered a taxi to collect me at 7pm and when no one appeared after 10 mins I called to enquire their whereabouts... I was told that if I didn't know the name of the driver they were unable to determine which of their 3 drivers it was so the booking was unconfirmed. When I enquired how they intended to run a business with such incompetence I was informed I could "get f***ed".I would highly recommend not using this company!City Taxis Inc.... Nope.

We got picked up today by Ron and driven from Cascio's and driven to Hilton Garden Inn. He did a great job. Was on time and very friendly. Told us some fun facts about Omaha on the drive. Will use them again.

They never answer phone, they don't respond to text (Like their website says). When you need a taxi - generally you need it for a reason and want to have it show up.
