I ordered custom sugar cookies with a monogram and was completely satisfied with my experience at Cindy's Cakes! Communication from Cindy was quick and informative. Her price was much more reasonable than competitors I found in the area. The cookies looked perfect, tasted great and I got many compliments from guests at the party. Cindy was a delight to work with and I highly recommend her local business!

We've been using Cindy as our ONLY cake/cupcake/cookie lady for baby showers/birthdays/holidays.Every order process is great, her products are so good! She does amazing with the dual themed birthdays we have. We'll continue to only buy from her for as long as we can.

I've had Cindy make our wedding cake as well as our anniversary cake. She does an amazing job and is prompt with returning calls and emails. I would recommend her 10/10 for any celebratory cakes you need.

I ordered a Taylor Swift themed cake but was given a Shania Twain themed cake. When I asked her to make it right, I was offered a credit for a future cake. The last time I ordered a theme cake was for our wedding 4 years ago. Im not going to order another themed cake for quite some time. Cake looks good. But she wouldnt make it right. During my conversation with her, she tried to make her poor business decision my problems. Wouldnt even give me half of my money back. Only answers the phone with "hello?" instead of announcing the businesses name. Poor customer service. Pretty much told me, "sorry about your luck."

Please read, beware of Cindy's Cakes--Cindy's cakes was the most regretful and stressful part of our wedding planning. Our initial cake tasting, which had cost $15.00, consisted of 2 cupcakes that were very dry and lacking of taste. We chose to trust this was not indicative of her final product and moved forward with her due to family using her previously for a smaller cake. Moving closer to our wedding, we were finalizing the details of our cake a week and a half prior and we had already made our deposit. Cindy quoted us the final amount and asked that we return with payment for the final numbers, at this time the deposit was already paid. The payment was made the beginning of the week on Monday and Cindy informed us that this payment was late and asked for $20/day late fee. This late fee was never disclosed to us and after review of our contract, there was no mention of due date of payment nor a late fee associated with payment. Keep in mind.. These are still a week prior to the wedding and before any services have been provided. We refused this late charge and Cindy then made this issue very personal. She called my fiancé by name in email saying that this wedding order has taken longer than any wedding order she has done in the entire time she has done this and made repeated jabs at her. These responses were appalling to me as we were nothing but cordial to her and as a business professional I expected a professional response. I then requested our payments back and that same day she had gone to bank and cashed our deposit. She refused reimbursement for our deposit and made continued comments about her experience with us. Ultimately, we were so disgusted with this process that we decided to pursue another vendor 4 days before our wedding. Luckily, a business gladly accepted our business and we happily lost our deposit with Cindy over using her for our cake. During this entire process Cindy lacked any kind of customer service, was very rude and treated us extremely poorly. Payment was made in full but she refused to do anything until her late fee was received. Planning a wedding is very stressful and time consuming process, Cindy did nothing to make this process easier. We are still out this money but so much better off as our wedding cake went flawlessly with someone else.I stress and stress to explore other options in Lincoln as Cindy Cakes will leave you very disappointed.
