Chop's Bowling Alley

My group and I had a great time at Chop's. Hopefully, we weren't to loud for the other guests.I tried to make a reservation on a Saturday for 8 people, but I was told that they don't take reservations. However, they told us that if we got there before 7:00pm, we should be able to get two lanes right next to each other. We arrived at 6:00pm and we did get two lanes right next to each other. We didn't know if we would have more people with us or not. The employees told us that the computers hold up to six people per lane but it works best with a maximum of five people, just so it doesn't take a ridiculously long amount of time to finish one game of bowling.I was a bad yelper and I did not read all the reviews beforehand. This meant that I was unprepared, so we didn't have cash. They're cash only. They do have an ATM. Luckily, I did have cash in my car. We all purchased drinks and they bowling deal, which is 3 games and shoes for $10.99 (which is $11.75 after tax).

I love me some Chop's!I've been here a number of times and it's great every time. They have cheap bowling. Super cheap drinks. And the people are so nice.I go to Chop's for some open bowling every week or two and it is a pleasant experience every time. I will definitely continue to go to Chop's!

My family and friends had so much fun here. It has a great night life and is very well made inside, despite the sketchy outward appearance.We bowled two games and had a blast. The alley has great music and lots of light. I would definitely return! **PRO TIP!!!** Make sure you bring CASH! It made our triple date especially awkward when I found out my date had to borrow money from my friend and hadn't paid him back.

Not the most updated, place felt like i was back in middle school, can be pricey, they do have good deals. Also do competitions. Overall cool place to pass time.

We came in around 9pm on a Wednesday night and the old man working was super nice. We had our 2 kids with us and just wanted to bowl one game and he was very helpful. We had the whole place to ourselves and it was nice. 17 dollars for 3 people to bowl 1 game. Our 1 year old just crawled around with no problems. My 5 year old killed the crane game winning 13 toys!!! Lord help me we don't need anymore stuffed animals but she was so happy to show the old guy and he was very nice to her. Cute clean nice old school bowling alley. Loved it!

I'm not a huge fan of bowling alleys traditionally, but Chops is a winner. Good prices for bowling and drinks, small somewhat hidden location, well maintained, clean with a vintage feel and grown-up regulars for clientele. Not too loud, not too gimmicky, and doesn't leave you with that dirty feeling that some other bowling alleys in town do.

I have really enjoyed going to this bowling alley. There are a lot of regulars who are pretty darn good, but they don't make fun of my lack of knowledge. They are quite friendly and I've even gotten a few good pointers when I've asked! There is a large bar and I know that is a huge plus for most. For me, I am just glad it doesn't make the place feel like a sleazy bar. The place is very clean and everyone extremely nice. It's not the largest bowling alley I've seen and the parking could be a bit better, but the homey, friendly atmosphere makes up for those small negatives.No kids were in the bowling alley when I've gone, but my husband took my son once and it didn't seem too awkward for him. They also have some video games and one of my favorite games where you can match up blocks to win something.Generally, we've liked this place for date nights.

Fun place to bowl!!! Extremely clean, and the people working there were super friendly. Go in the afternoon, as it isn't crowded at that time.

Chops is great.It's been my experience that clean alleys are gimmicky, expensive, loud and arcade-ish, while lower-priced lanes are seedy and smelly. Chops is neither.Friendly staff, clean facility, Chops isn't Disneyland but my 11-year-old daughter still likes it and I feel comfortable and safe bringing here there. I think it's the best value around although I'm almost afraid to say so because it seems to be one of the best kept secrets in the area. Still, I think the owners deserve credit for running a respectable business that's fun for the whole family.I recommend it highly.
