Chirpy's Play Cafe

We attended another ticketed event over the weekend to see Bluey and it was incredible! Even better than the last time we were hear for an event. They've really streamlined the event process. As an event planner myself, the 2-hr time frame is perfect for kids (and adults alike) to get in a lot of play, interact with the characters, and enjoy their snacks. My son is absolutely obsessed with Bluey and watching him meet her IRL, brought me great joy! What a special place this cafe is. After over a year since my last visit, it's still in great, new, clean, and bright conditions. We really loved the day and I would definitely recommend following their social pages for more events and open play.

Chirpy's has gotten quite a bit of "buzz" since its opening - and for good reason! It is a fun, bright, open play area with beautifully curated toys and aesthetics. As a mom with a range of ages (0 to 6) I appreciate that there's a small area reserved for the tiny kiddos away from the more ruckus play of the bigger kids here. I also think it's great that they've made efforts to have some meal, snack, and beverage options for adults and kiddos alike.Two pieces of feedback for improvement: 1. Consider weekend "live feed" of some sort since you no longer reserve a space online. I'd like to know before making the 25 min drive if it's SLAMMED, or if we will have space to roam. It was so busy when we came that it felt like all the kids were constantly bumping into one another, and there weren't any seats available in the cafe to relax at. Another option would be free play weekdays and reservations on weekends / school breaks. Just food for thought! I'm sure they've tried lots of different options and I also know reservations can be kind of a bummer for those of us who like a spur of the moment playdate, but I'd rather know my $40 visit is going to be enjoyable than always have it be a gamble. 2. One of the doors to the bathroom doesn't lock (It seems they are aware because both doors just had a sticky note telling you to knock first) But because it was so incredibly busy and loud that didn't end up being very helpful because you couldn't hear if someone responded on the other side of the door made for a few awkward encounters and is a serious privacy concern with young kids in your space. I think this should be a top priority, Hopefully it will be repaired promptly.

This place is an absolute zoo on the weekends! Got here on a winter Sunday morning and there was a line of families out the door pushing to get in. There was no where to sit in the cafe (forget getting laptop work done) or places to place the multitude of strollers and winter gear that people had bought in. The play area was crowded with adults and many sick kids coughing. Very hard to keep a close eye on younger children with so many people here. I love the idea of this but I really think they need to limit admission (it even seems like a fire hazard). Would be a nice place to rent for a birthday or maybe to visit during the week but hours seem very sporadic (have to keep checking Facebook for last minute updates). Clearly Omaha needs more play cafes, the business definitely shows that the demand is there especially during the cold winters where kids don't have many places to go let off energy.

Love this place so much love. My boys are always excited when we get to come here and thr owners are so kind! We live far out West Omaha but try to come every so often it's def worth the drive!

I love seeing more kid-friendly indoor play spaces opening up around the Omaha area! Chirpy's is a great addition to the Papillion area with all kinds of pretend play themed areas, a climbing tower with a slide, a crawler area for the little ones, and much much more!For the parents, they really thought of everything. Snacks, coffee, energy drinks, smoothies, even full-sized sandwiches too! The eating area and play areas are separate in order to maintain the cleanliness of the toys. Highly recommend their homemade, warm cinnamon roll-like croissant. As for the actual play times, Chirpy's does it differently. You book a two hour time slot to play (either online or drop in if not booked). Then the hour between each session gives the owners time to clean, reset and prepare for more kids to come play. Be sure to check their social media pages for updated time slots before coming in!

Went to the Bluey event and we LOVED IT! The place was so cute and had so many fun areas for the littles. Their selection of food and drinks was unique and tasty! 10/10 would recommend for some fun outside of the house!

Love love love. Took my daughters for "Mini Monday" and they absolutely loved it. 10am Mondays are for ages 3 and under. The cost was $12+tax per kiddo. My littles are 2 1/2 and 14 months and there was so much for each of them to do. LOTS of pretend play and three slides, plus little vehicles to ride around and structures to climb. The place seemed really clean and had plenty of seating for adults as well. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars is the hours. They never open before 10am and if you're home with two toddlers, you know that you've lived an entire life by 10am. I'd love to see an earlier playtime option but otherwise have zero complaints. My two year old is already talking about wanting to go back so I don't think we'll be away for long. Highly recommend if you've got busy toddlers!

We met up with a group here and had a blast. Staff was friendly and I enjoyed the cupcake latte. The play area is amazing and adorable.

Chirpy's is clean. It's definitely pricey but respectably. the owners are on top of keeping it tidy and they are just incredibly kind people. That alone is the selling point for me. There's a lot of variety and the snack/drink options are good. There's a ton of potential here and I'm excited to see what they do as the business grows!
