Could have easily sat down and had meal at restaurant; I chose carry out. The building was clean-owners seefriendly. Generous portions, great taste, good value. Their lo mien is awesome...no spaghetti noodles here.

Sys Admin loved it! Said it was better than his favorite RW on 48th between Normal & VD. He had the sesame chicken and it meet his high standards. Wife wanted China Garden for lunch on Saturday as well. Good enough to eat two days in a row!

I tried China Garden for the first time today and have to say, it was unimpressive. Good food, great portions, same things you can get at any other Chinese place in town. However, I ordered cashew shrimp and for some reason, I expected there to be cashews in it and there were none!! They made up for the lack of the specific item mentioned in the title of this dish with tons and tons and tons of broccoli and rice. They could stand to discover seasoning as well, very bland, even for a spice wuss like me. Although this place is close to home and work, I'll stick with my tried and true Chinese place that knows that cashew in the name means there are cashews in the dish...very disappointing.

This is my family's favorite chinese restaurant. Good food and great portion sizes. We eat there a handful of times per month and never had a bad experience. I usually get Hunan Shrimp, and the shrimp are very large compared to other Chinese restaurants. The fried dumplings and egg drop soup are always very good.

If your main desire is to eat the worst Chinese food in town at the same price point as the best, this is your place. Massively overcooked, mysteriously "sweetened" crab Rangoon, pork fried rice so overdone you can probably hold the container upside down, wilted broccoli. . .

I will never order from here again. I ordered the Szechuan Beef choose the hot. It was not hot it was sweet. Beef tasted weird. Fried rice was horrible. Would never recommend this place at all!!!
