Hands down my favorite fried pickles I've ever had. This is a casual place where you seat yourself and it's mostly fried food. I'm a huge fan of their ranch as well, and I also like their chicken tenders. The service is usually just mid, but the prices are cheap and it's a good place to stop in if you're in town. They make their own root beer and cream soda, and they are both pretty fantastic. Their fries are crispy and well seasoned, and they have great flavors for their chicken wings and tenders.

Although the food here is generally good, I hit a real low with the pork tenderloin, which was most fried batter with a thin piece of what I assume was pork. Never again. The server was friendly and attentive, which generally has been the case at this restaurant. The vibe is solid with interesting decor. A little noisy at times, but, hey, it's a bar. Will return but the pork tenderloin should be taken off the menu or dramatically improved.

We were traveling across country and pressed to find anything open at 9:30pm. Figured we would try the Chicken Coop Bar &Grill. It looks like a renovated warehouse. Has some cute decor and signage. The back of the booths were old doors. There was a sign for State Bank on the wall. 4 1/2 stars for decor. The food was nothing to brag about, but again almost nothing was open that late on a Tuesday night. I tried the smothered chicken because another yelper said it was good. I found it ok. My baked potato was better than the chicken. The California vegetables was a very small serving (would have liked more). My husband got the philly cheese steak and fries. 3 stars on food.Service was slow. They did have a large selection of beers and had the one my husband likes. Half of the place is Restuarant and half bar. Parking was easy, just a few steps to the parking across the street and some spots in front of the place. They did have at least 8 big screen TVs on sporting events in the bar and restaurant. The booths were cozy and intimate.

Food was good, service was quick considering we had a very large party. Restaurant was spacious and clean. One negative is that we couldn't split checks, and had to figure out our totals between the group. I would definitely recommend! Waitress was a trooper dealing with our team and parents!

I've been back hear twice just for the wings. They look burnt but they are actually perfectly crispy on the outside and most on the inside. They have that BBQ flame flavor to them. I actually preferred them plain versus with any sauce. The spicy barbecue is the best so far but all of their buffalo sauces I've tried so far have a tangy Dijon taste to them that I wasn't very fond of. The bar scene experience wasn't all that nor was the service but if your looking for bomb ass wings then it's worth it

This has always been a real good lunch stop and we go occasionally. Lunch specials are good. We always sit in bar area. Service is great with real good variations of foods.

this is the best spot in town for wings! char grilled, perfectly crispy yet tender and there's a variety of yummy sauces to choose from. went with honey barbecue this time around! i also ordered a grilled chicken salad to keep it light and was not as impressed. the chicken was good but everything else was seriously lacking. i only got ONE cucumber and ONE tomato, seriously? give me more veggies!! if you're wanting something healthier maybe try a burger or sandwich with no bun instead.didn't dine in so can't speak much on the service but our takeout was packaged well and we didn't have to wait long so that was a nice plus!

Facebook page and Google says they close at 12 AM on a Friday. Went a little past 11 PM and doors were completely locked and looked empty inside but yet they have a glowing "Open" sign right on their window. Red flag of dishonesty from a business, if something came up at least post a sign on the door or make a simple post on your Facebook page informing customers that you're closing early, common courtesy. Will post another review if they're ever open again when they actually say so.

Great atmosphere, good location in the old part of downtown Grand Island. Perfect place to watch a game, full bar and TVs everywhere. Pretty much anything you could want on the menu from fried Pickles to Pizza, and everything in between. Great for Groups!!! I had to give 4 stars simply because of service. Our server was either forgetful or had a hard time hearing us... we had one person order a Blue Moon, she brought a Bloody Mary. Then someone ordered a baked sweet potato and got sweet potato fries. And 2 peoples steaks got mixed up. So the food was good, but service could've been better!!
