Chet's Moving & Storage

We literally just got done with these guys' services of helping us pack our truck. We were having trouble finding reliable and affordable movers within Lincoln. I found Chet's via Yelp and Facebook. I am beyond impressed! I called them a week and a half before we needed our move (I recommend calling sooner if you can). We requested them on Friday, and they were unavailable, but they were able to do Thursday afternoon. We had to push up our moving truck pick-up time by 2 hours, but for us, it did not cost extra and was no big deal.They loaded our 1 bedroom apartment of stuff in 30 minutes!!!! I couldn't believe it. A few important notes:-They are very upfront about their costs: they have a 1 hour minimum where they charge $120. They charge $30 for every 15 minutes after an hour. I tried to bargain with them a little on the cost, and they weren't having it. I can deal with that. The pricing to move pool tables, gun safes, and other large items is a different cost.-They do start the clock when they leave their office to when they get to your house. We weren't fond of this aspect, but we were more concerned about having a group of seemingly professional guys help us. They are still affordable. So I get it.-The pack your stuff in a truck very efficiently. We had a 12 ft. truck that we were concerned would be too small that got upgraded "for free" to a 16 ft truck last minute at the truck rental place. The 12 ft. truck would have been just fine with the guys from Chet's packing job.Incredibly professional. Incredibly fast. Incredibly affordable if you don't have that much stuff. I would definitely recommend these guys. They saved us a lot of time and hassle!

We have used Chets several times. Always on time and on budget. In May we were in a big bind and due to a house closing and U Haul not coming through with a promised truck we needed to move everything into storage units. Then we were able to secure a Penski truck 4 days later to complete our out of state move. Kenny the owner is a standup guy who works hard along side his guys. No reason to call anyone else, call Kenny.

I don't know about your services, but your driver today was awful. Coming out of Holdrege going east, they were weaving in & out of traffic & tailgating something fierce. Visibility was less than 1/2 mile and very slick with blowing snow. Pretty stupid with the companies name all over the truck. Put a lot if innocent people in danger. This was about 1:45-2:00 this afternoon. So stupid

Cost me more than it should have because the 2 workers were busy chatting and unfocused. They were polite. Didn't put my furniture back together correctly and clogged the toilet without saying a word. Worst move ever. I will no longer recommend Chet's Moving. Very disappointed.

Amazing company to work with! The employees are all very pleasant and they go above and beyond to protect your belongings and your home. We highly recommend Chet's Moving and Storage.

Very professional, friendly & affordable. From just moving furniture the first time to an entire house move the second time, they were very easy to work with. They were careful with all my belongings & made sure everything was in the proper place before they left. I will definitely use Chet's again!

I received an excellent, courteous and speedy service with moving my furniture from my old house into storage. I am impressed by their professionalism, care and courtesy. Their web site is great, but it is 1930s (NOT "1930's"). Apostrophes don't make plural words!!

These guys made moving easy! 3 hard working and personable guys showed up on time, worked hard consistently, and got everything to it's new location in one piece.

Thank you so much to Chet's for being able to add me to your schedule last minute. The three men who moved us did a great job. It was snowing the day we moved and they were very careful to make sure to clean their shoes each time they came inside. The only break in the 5 hour time frame it took to move us was the ride from one place to the next. I will definitely be calling this summer when I move again.
