II's a shame this place was not more busy when I visited early evening on Saturday. The food is as good as any I had in Israel or Lebanon.Hummus made correctly is NOTHING like the stuff you buy in the refrigerator case at the supermarket. The hummus here (try it with beef) is delicious and served with warm soft, tasty pita.I also had the chicken shawarma, which was also perfect.Try it!

I keep going back for the steak shawarma over and over and over again it is so consistently good!! I've tried the Mediterranean fries as well as plain fries, both delicious. The hummus is out of this world. The service is always nice. Cateus is now one of my favorite places to eat!

Excited to happen upon this place. Will definitely be back and will update my review on subsequent visits. Had the lentil soup and the squeeze of lemon made it spot on. The falafel sandwich with garlic sauce was delish. Falafel was tender and crunchy, the wrap was perfect. Ingredients were fresh and bright. Hope this is an indication of their other items on the menu - can't wait to try some of their other fare.

I ordered from Cateus through Door Dash. I eat Mediterranean, Indian, Middle Eastern food on a fairly regular basis and Omaha has some really delicious choices.Sadly, Cateus is NOT one of them. I'm not sure how anyone could give anything above a one star. The entire order was bland and tasteless. I didn't even know that was possible, given all the wonderful spices in the region.Don't waste your time or money at Cateus. If you want really GOOD ethnic food, choose Maharajah for Indian, Mediterranean Bistro, and Chaikana for Mideastern and of course, for Greek - the best in Omaha, Greek Islands!

Passing through NE and stopped foe the night. Found this gem close by the hotel. Awesome place! Very authentic food, best falafel hands down. Wife and I got the vegan falafel wrap with steak hummus.

...In a world where Frankenstein grey beef/lamb (gyro) hybrids are passed off as shawarma....This place uses REAL MEAT!The meat is crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. I ordered the mixed grill from Uber eats last week. Along with the shawarma, the beef, chicken, and kafta kebabs were amazing and fire seared. It was a huge amount of food for the price. The salad, pitas, and side of falafel were also perfect.I went there in person today for lunch and it was just as good and the staff was very nice. No fake meat!No false shawarma!
