This is a good sport bar environment. Outdoor seating g is fantastic with ample room and inviting sunsets. The menu is large but not imposibly complex. Service was friendly and fast. Price may skew a little higher on burgers but other elements such as the flat pizza are a good deal . In fact the pizza couldEasily be shared . For a casual time with the environment built for lingering, catalyst is the place . The drink selection is vast soIt's easy toSettle in for a great conversation.

Repeat customer but it was still great! Only downside is finding seating for a larger group can be difficult. We called ahead and were told they wouldn't be busy and no reservations... that was not the case. We did find a couple tables near each other and made it work. They do have NA brews, so don't be afraid to ask. Fried pickles and cheese curds are a must. Especially the cheese curds. I had a Greek salad that was great.

I was pleasantly surprised with Catalyst. The food was more than I expected. Truly unique and delicious options. I had looked over the menu ahead of time and knew I wanted the fried mushrooms. Delicious! They do have a kids menu but of course my child wasn't interested, so I ordered the chicken strip/pancake option for him and I to share. I believe the strips are hand breaded. They were delicious. The pancake comes already dressed with a bacon jam so of course, my son refused to eat it. I should've asked, but just know that it doesn't have syrup with it. The rest of the table also enjoyed their meals. My niece got a kids grilled cheese and fries and it was pretty big for a kids meal. My sister tried the cheesy corndogs. I took a bite or two and they are loaded with cheese. Probably not something I would get. And the husband got Phillies with fries.The husbands were also excited to see plenty of tv's so they could keep up with the Chiefs game. There are a couple of minor things that I don't love about this restaurant, but it really just has to do with space I think. There is one single stall bathroom for men and women. I hate urinals. I think they are disgusting. I don't wanna look at them. It's located really close to the dining area. However, it wasn't smelly or gross. And the parking situation is a little unfortunate. There's barely anywhere to park. I would for sure return. It looks like there was a lot of seating and of course there is a bar. I didn't think that that made it less family friendly.

Stopped by for happy hour! The cheese curds were outstanding and the chips and salsa were fresh. Great selection of beers so we each picked a flight. Our server Brett was the best! He even gave us a little insight about how they infuse their beers. Highly recommend sitting outside, they have a huge patio.

food is always so delicious. servers are super kind and attentive. the place itself is gorgeous - both inside and outside. lovely for a dinner with friends, spouses, coworkers, etc.

The ambience in here is great for a casual sit down dinneror watching some sports. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Oh and did I mention the beer? They have a great assortment of beers ranging from fruity to the hard stouts. I prefer the vanilla bean myself. I got a peanut butter and bacon burger. It could of used a little bit more peanut butter. But not going to complain. And they have sweet potato crinkle fries oh my goodness probably the best sweet potato fries I've had in a long long time. Kudos to Catalyst. Unfortunately I can't frequent here very often as I live in Omaha and this is in Lincoln but next time I'm in Lincoln, I will be going back to there. Note to self if you're gonna sit at the bar away from the area where the servers meet the bartenders just a little too much gossip to over hear

Disappointed and Feeling Cheated by Catalyst!My husband and I used to be loyal customers of this restaurant before Covid, but I have been let down by their service and policies every time. We have visited them in the last couple of years periodically in the hopes that we would have a better dining experience with the food, service and beer availability.After Covid, Catalyst started a 3.5% credit card surcharge without any clear notice. Tonight, when we paid with cash instead, they would not give me the correct change as they said they don't have any coins in the till. They only deal with dollar amounts. We were also told that they round it up or down as they please. This is unacceptable and dishonest. What happens to all of the change owed to customers? How many customers get "robbed" of their exact change every day? We will not be coming back to this restaurant ever again.

Pretty diverse menu and everything I have tried has been good. Great full bar and tasty appetizers.

I haven't been here for awhile. Asides from rebranding the name of the restaurant (used to be called The Local). They didn't try to improve anything else. The foods still lacked seasoning and taste. Although there are a variety amount of dipping sauces available. It shouldn't be necessary for pairing anything but the sides. My philly steak was great in term of textures and the presentation. Except there was no seasoning. It was like eating a rubber sandwich. The drinks on the other hand were a little bit better than the food. Overall, the experience was average.

Other than my first mimosa being spilled on us and my refrigerator cold bacon... The French toast was excellent as always and the coffee was divine!!
