Castle Unicorn

What a beautiful venue this is! I am a wedding photographer out of Omaha and have shot here twice now. They run a smooth business and I will definitely recommend it to future clients of mine. The outdoor grounds is flawless and the covered reception area outside is great. Amazing view.

FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. What a perfect day for us. I am still in disbelief...I had no idea my wedding day would be so stress-free! I had always assumed it was one of those events you're supposed to "get through," but not at CU. The staff was so professional, helpful, and thoughtful down to every little detail! John was running his ass off for us all day, and I cannot express how much it meant to us! I was really worried about the timing of the ceremony music, and John nailed it. I even forgot a few bags of decorations at my apartment (my only freak-out moment of the day), and John made it work somehow!! His calm and collected demeanor made me automatically trust him with everything. When we made our entrance as bride and groom, the reception looked even better than what I had imagined! And the FOOD, which is something you usually don't expect to be that amazing at a buffet-style wedding dinner, was honestly so good! We had the Tier 3 menu and there were plenty of choices for our guests. Everyone was telling us how surprised they were! It was fresh, tasty, quality food, plain and simple. We had them save us a couple plates of food for later that night when we had more time to eat, and I'm glad we did! My dad was worried they would run out of food, but I could tell that the staff at CU would never allow that to happen. They have a kitchen on-site and were replenishing throughout the night, which in my opinion is a much better option than having an outside caterer come in!We had fun spending the night at the Castle too (the newlywed suite comes with the package), and when we came downstairs in the morning, John had already carefully packed everything up for us! We pulled our cars up and he helped load everything in. We got the star treatment from start to finish, and I never had to work hard on my wedding day! The first thing I thought the next day was that I wanted to do it all over again, because it was so much fun and so beautiful. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!!

Castle Unicorn is the best! We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful venue. John and Ray are so easy and fun to work with. It was the most perfect day and the wedding planning was so stress free. They do so much to help to make the day exactly how you envision it. As the bride, I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding! One of my bridesmaid's sister even ended up booking her wedding here after seeing our pictures! I couldn't say enough good things about Castle Unicorn and would recommend the venue to absolutely anybody!!

The venue is gorgeous, but you'll set yourself a dream and it will be destroyed. The initial meeting John will be telling you all the great things that can happen and all the great things they do... but what they don't tell you is that the prices inflate by at least $4 per head and when they give you their drink menu it raises the price at least $5 a head just for juice and water alone. They are unwilling to work with you on price and John leaves the "negotiating" or lack there of to Ray who does no negotiating, it's telling you no. Be prepared to spend a couple thousand more than the "estimate" they provide due to Castle Unicorn adding things on that you don't need or never said or discussed.
