Casey Nelson Exteriors

I can't say enough about Kerri Nelson! She was so kind and helpful. Texting and returning my calls after hours, going the extra mile to help me . We didn't even end up doing business with them because our needs weren't in their scope of work, but she went above and beyond to refer me to someone who was able to help. She even called on my behalf and did some research before referring me. I will 100% be giving Casey Nelson Exteriors my business if the need arises in the future .

Casey had a nice presentation in his estimate and showed up the same day I called. He presented things well and was friendly. I did some research on materials and called to ask him for a demo on the materials he can offer. I also wanted to see the quality of the windows he was offering. The day of the demo he had me go out to his truck where he had a mess of samples in the truck bed. I wasn't impressed with the windows he was offering. They seemed really shifty when they moved up and down. Also, I explained that I was looking for steel siding because of its longevity and quality. He sort of made fun of me for wanting that and said vinyl siding is better because if you get damage, they can replace it without taking down the entire wall of siding. Vinyl siding also looks terrible, has seams everywhere, blows off in the wind, is super poor quality and needs to be replaced in 10 years. I asked him if he offered steel and he said he does and then showed me an aluminum sample and said he only has like one customer a year that wants that. He said literally no one wants it. The sample was a 5-inch wide sample and the steel I was aware of you can change the "stamp" to make it 3-inch or another width. When I asked him about that, he said 'no this is the only width it comes in and it doesn't look good, trust me you want vinyl.' I took a picture of the sample and thanked him for the demo. After some research online, the sample he showed me was aluminum and not steel at all. I wouldn't trust Casey.

I hate writing negative reviews because I know how hard it can be on a company but there was some significant negligence from this company. Also, I should state that it was actually my neighbor's house that had the work done but my family still felt the impact. When you work with a company like this there is naturally going to be a contract that states that they are not responsible for certain things like leftover trash and destruction of plants and so forth. But when you sign these documents, you assume that they will do their best to be careful, while also assuming that there will be some slips. That being said there were nails everywhere, I mean everywhere and this is not exactly comforting with small children and pets around. They were also working over a vegetable garden full of produce and it was absolutely demolished, not just from walking around in it, but from throwing things in it, and dropping ladders on it. The work team also put their ladders in neighboring houses yards without asking, and the project manager blocked our driveway with his truck even though he could have pulled 20 ft. forward to open street space (again did not ask us or anything). The work they did looked amazing but the respect they showed in the process was less than stellar.

I just can't say enough about these guys. Professional, friendly, courteous. Good product, installation took three days and they worked with my insurance. After problems with my roofers, I went with Casey Nelson Exteriors for my siding. Wow!! what a difference! I was kept in the loop during the project. Mark was awesome in answering my questions/concerns and listened to me. It took three days to side and trim. They came out immediately after the job and removed the leftover materials. Mark walked the site and cleaned up what had been left behind. I very highly recommend Casey Nelson Exteriors and will not hesitate to call when I have another need. I will also tell everyone I know to call them first!!

Casey and his team did an excellent job for us as we renovated our 75 + year old house. He did the siding and gutters and windows. I was surprised and very pleased at how cheerfully he worked with us to use some supplies we already had on hand. He was wonderful about taking care of the quirks that our old, and out of "square" house had. His team was efficient, well trained, and a pleasure to work with. I'm now arranging to have another of our homes sided by his crew! (I should note that I'm listed as being in Austin TX because I recently moved down here, not because they came to Austin to do my house! However, I still have property in Nebraska and count on great local businesses there to help me via long distances!).

Siding turned out great. Wife and I found Casey easy to deal with. His company was the third one we had over for a estimate. He didn't do any pushy sales tricks like the previous two. We asked him to step outside while we talked it over and he was ok with that. Just said he'd be in his truck if we had any questions. We really appreciated not having someone starring at us while we decided.

The level of professionalism shown by the individuals installing our siding has been horrendous. Not only did they destroy our landscaping, broke branches from our trees, knocked down retaining wall blocks and left ladders, gutters and junk in our lawn over a long holiday weekend (we had to call them and ask them to move everything off our lawn. They weren't going to be back for 5 days, in the middle of summer?) But, they cut the cable to our internet and tv to a level that we had to have our provider come out to rewire the house. It has also been discovered that they put siding over our dryer vent. Our dryer is venting behind the insulation and siding. Condensation is dripping down the side of our house. We have called them once and they told us it was fixed. It is not fixed. People can make mistakes but this has risen to a level of incompetence. I would not recommend this company. I will not ever use them again. I would definitely take my chances with someone, anyone else. Don't be fooled by their "awards" because what we are experiencing is not award worthy.

The initial meeting with Casey was excellent. He was on time, polite, and brought lots of examples and pictures to help us find the right siding for our house. His knowledge of product is tremendous. His pricing was extremely reasonable. His professionalism was top notch. He met us on our schedule, not his schedule. He was never pushy throughout the process and was patient while we refinanced our home. I called him to let him know we were still good to go instead of him pestering us. The work is fantastic. It has been on for a month and I see no issues what so ever. The workers were polite, professional, and did a great job. They started each day early and left after I got home. They were dedicated to getting the job done. These men were awesome.If you are looking for a great company that cares about your home, you, and what you want, then Casey Nelson is your man!!!!

i really wish things turned out better. the siding job was not done well. and then when we asked to have it fixed since we are paying over $10,000 we should get quality work! when they day they would fix it. they don't show up and don't call. they finally do come and don't even fix it. definitely the run around and definitely poor quality. just want it fixed and done right...wish we had gone elsewhere :(
