I toured 4 child care centers when I was expecting my first child last Spring, and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the classrooms, friendliness of the staff, and professionalism of the administrative team. Since the start, I have been very satisfied with the attention to detail and genuine care for my infant daughter by both the teachers and staff. It made my transition back to work so much easier. Even though my daughter also had a special need, they listened to my requests and made me and my family feel important and loved. Definitely a great place to bring your child! And they are always willing to go beyond to provide support and concern. Keep up the good work, Caritas Kids Cottage!

I am beyond pleased with my experience at Caritas Kid's Cottage. I selected it (despite the reviews) because I could not find any other openings. Even though there are now openings at less expensive centers, I won't move my son. The employees are great (especially Ms. Andrea and Ms. Nidia) and care for my son as if he's their own. Ms. Ruth at the front desk is also great too! I can tell they genuinely care and enjoy being with the kids. They have even paid for items from their own pocket when I've forgotten to bring them with me. My conversations with the Director have been pleasant, so I've seen no issues there. The parking lot is small (maybe 12 spots), but I've never had to wait for parking when I pick up my son around 5pm. Overall, the center is clean and full of fun activities for children. If you are the type of parent looking for a reason to complain, I'm sure you will find one. However, if your primary concern is that your child is safe, happy, and loved- this is a great option.

Another great week at Caritas.I am so happy I found this wonderful childcare center.I and my daughter couldn't be happier. Great staff, great activities, great facility, great food and great care!

My son went here for a few months. We are really sad to leave this place but he seemed to enjoy this place and learned a lot of different songs and would do many age appropriate activities.

This is hands-down one of the best daycares in Omaha/Bellevue. You will not find a cleaner facility--literally, they are wiping down every handle in the building every hour! The owner is meticulous and has very high standards for the building, the staff, and the curriculum. Audrey is constantly improving something; every week, she has made a change to make the center better. I feel lucky that I found it and that they had space available.

Be careful with the staff at Carritas Cottage. They don't watch the kids like they are supposed to. They only like to deal with easy children. They will tell you your son/daughter is doing good when they are not and you have to hear it from the Director that your child is having issues. The Director does not know how to talk to parents and is super passive aggressive. Also the parking lot there is small. If you come around 4pm to pick up your child good luck finding a parking space. Potential daycare lookers, please beware there are so many other daycare providers around here. Please don't waste your money there.

The education provided to the children is severely lacking. The owner is horrible to deal with. Initially she is pleasant but the moment you voice any problems you see or you don't see things the same as her, she turns vindictive. The staff is a constant revolving door, the safety of children on field trips is frightening and I'm currently looking for a new day care for my child so my hard earned money is utilized appropriately.

I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. Please, please, please think twice before taking your children here. My daughter was here only for a few months. First off, she was given the wrong amount of formula. My daughter uses a different kind of formula that has a different quantity per ounce. We explained this to them from the start but my daughter was given watered down formula for who knows how long until we figured it out. She lost weight, wasn't eating/sleeping. The owner/director is rude and is not open to discussing any concerns. She seems very nice at first and sells you on the daycare fast. But I agree with the previous reviewer, she is 100% deceitful and a liar! They give the kids cheap food and she acts like she all about a healthy/organic lifestyle..not when it comes to her business! My daughter got sick from the food. But what made us leave the daycare was the fact that she developed a SEVERE diaper rash. So bad that we had to take her to the doctor and she was on antibiotics! My daughter NEVER had a diaper rash in her life until she came to this daycare. And they tried to blame us for the rash. Yea right! We talked to them but they were not willing to offer any kind of compensation for this. In fact, we had to pay a termination for leaving even though we were leaving for these reasons. Unbelievable. The staff and assistant director are nice but the turnover among their staff is high. They claim the infants are on a 1:4 ratio (1 adult for 4 babies) but that is not the case. I've seen about 12 children in the infants room with only 2 teachers several times. The children are just not given the attention they need. The owner is all about the $$. Please stay away from this place.
