Capri Motel

Not a great experience... I booked at this hotel for seven days I stayed at this hotel 2 1/2 days. The outside of the hotel was deceptive because it's pretty clean and it's in a small farm town. The inside is a little rundown, but what you would expect in a little motel. I didn't expect bugs like the filthiest of them. Roaches ... and that is one thing I cannot do I can go without hot water and a crappy bed and or heating or air... I can't do bugs. Monday and Tuesday I stayed in Sioux City. Wednesday I went to stay with a friend and was hoping that by Thursday morning the situation would've been taken care of...considering I called the hotel and told them there was bugs in the room I didn't ask to be moved. I just asked for them to please spray, honestly since I seen them there, I wouldn't be bringing any of my items or food in the room. Thursday when I got back I was hoping to just go lay down in my crap bag hotel, but I couldn't really even do that effectively. Bugs again the second queen bed I pulled back the bedspread, and the bugs were still exactly where they were when I covered them back up, I paid almost $340 for 7 days and this is what I got, not super happy, but I didn't see the sign that said no refunds until after I paid...and since they couldn't even spray for bugs. Why bother If you have to stay here because of the price point I get it. I just hope that you get a room with no bugs or your stay is a short one. This is not a good, long-term Hotel... and it's rather unfortunate because there are a couple restaurants in walking distance as well as the grocery store and a gas station..but unless you're used to living with bugs, it's not going to work out super great for ya. As soon as the facility I booked with canceled. I got out of there before 4 AM today I already knew I wouldn't get a refund so no need to raise my blood pressure unnecessarily...Y'all actually have a pretty good location for that little town. It wouldn't take much to clean up your property a little bit and get an exterminator in there.

Clean, quiet and comfortable and a reasonable rate. When you find yourself in the middle of nowhere and need a place to rest thats warm and dry, this is a great spot. This little motor inn has parking at your door and the basics one wants while traveling. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the rate reasonable for its market. I was on a recent fishing trip through the area and after a long days drive getting to out next spot, came across the Capri - it was just the right spot for a night after driving in the rains most of the day.The owners and front staff, professional, friendly and kind - they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and the room up to expectations, which were exceeded given the rate paid.It may not look like much from the road, but this littleoutta the way motel is well worth your efforts3.5 Stars - rounded up for the great front desk staff 00763

It was a quiet little place off I-80 east of Council Bluff. We pulled in late but we're in our room within minutes. It was clean and older but safe. Inexpensive and got our needs met. I booke through Expedia.

Rolled through here on the motorcycles with a friend on the way to Denver didn't need much just a warm dry clean place to rest our heads it was great very cheap very quite right next to caseys general store a super foods and a shell gas station only thirty minutes away from Omaha will be coming back on the way home

Simple, clean, and comfortable. Good value for an overnight stay during a road trip. Exactly what we were looking for with 2 adults, 1 child. Close to expressway and right next door to a Casey's for gas, snacks and other goodies. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for stopping through. Normal size rooms, just a little dated. Trash cans near rooms smell. Lack of vending machine sucks since not much around.

Based on reviews on other web sites, I thought I would give this one a try. Can't believe how bad it was. Requested a non-smoking room, but was put in smoking. Went back to the office, they gave me another key. Heat didn't work, tv didn't work, smelled bad, towels were thin and dingy. Went back to the office, cancelled the reservation, and went to the Motel 6. When my credit card bill came, even though I had a cancellation receipt of the full amount for the 2 nights, my card was charged for one night. I called the motel, they said I didn't cancel ahead of time so had to pay for one night. I won't ever go back to the Capri, I I have other choices at that location. Please give yourself a break and never stop at the Capri.
