Wow! What an awesome spot. Not at all what I was expecting. It is a great little neighborhood bar that used to be a dive bar, but actually is kind of chic and cool.

It's a good bar if you enjoy casual, laid back atmosphere. It's got the hole in the wall neighborhood bar feel to it and I enjoy that as well. Lots of regulars but new off the street people are warmly welcomed. Pool table, darts, keno, free WiFi and a pretty cool patio is offered. Good bartenders and Darryl the owner is open and friendly. Candy& Chips are offered for munchies. Karoke and pool league is also held there, and once a year a pretty cool beer garden. No drama, no thugs, no out of control drunks...overall a good and decent bar.

My favorite Dive bar in Omaha. Great beer and prices. It's suprising for a dive bar, but they have a good selection of craft beer bottles and a few craft beer taps. Bartenders are awesome

Cheap drinks are a huge plus here. The beer garden is cute, but could definitely be cleaned up a little bit. Also, there are signs everywhere advertising $7.50 pitchers of PBR after seven, however last time I went there after seven they told me it was $10...

Though this bar does not have a good reputation, it is a great local bar with amazing drink specials on certain days. Wednesday for example is $1.25 pint night , probably one of the better deals in Omaha. The inside has a pool table, a digital jukebox, two dart boards and a back patio area with Bose speakers throughout (great sound system). They have keno available as well as a few other touch screen games. The best part about this bar is the staff. The owner and majority of the bartenders are extremely approachable, more than willing to strike up a conversation, and are very friendly. The crowd here changes every night with a few regulars. If you're looking for a bar to rage your face off this might not be your place, but if you wanna stop and have a few drinks at a great price with some friendly people and staff I would recommend stopping by. Random fun fact: Cali bar is the second oldest bar in Omaha

I'd normally be surprised that I was the first to review a business, but given the reputation of this bar, I could see why most people would stay away, anyway. If you step out to smoke, it's almost inevitable that someone will ask you for a cigarette, or occasionally try to sell you something hot, or at least ask you for change (which they'll often use to walk right into the bar and buy cheap package liquor). The night crowds vary - there are lots of cool regulars that are good to talk to or shoot pool with (though the pool table is uneven). There are occasional rowdies and flat out a-holes from time to time as well. You'll see this place on the news once in a while for a robbery, a fight, a stabbing, and so on. Given the neighborhood, it's not a shock. When you walk in, you'll notice a handful of video cameras, which is usually not a good indication. There's a decent beer selection, and the drink prices are cheap - though it seems obvious that most people would rather pay more to drink elsewhere, given the usual lack of patrons. There is no ATM and the credit card machine is down half the time. There is a jukebox, but for the sake of discouraging "a certain element" from hanging around the bar, the owner had all rap removed from the jukebox. I don't like rap, but if I did, I think I'd find that offensive.I also wouldn't leave anything laying around, or on a busy night, it will be stolen. Just last Thanksgiving, a guy was stabbed in the chest there for stealing money from someone's coat. The only saving graces for this place are the prices (again, cheap doesn't always mean "good"), and Cheryl, the bartender is pretty sociable and friendly. The occasional daytime bartender, Lisa, is also very friendly. I'm sure they could both do much better elsewhere.Again, that part of the staff is pretty cool, the drinks are cheap, and there are a few pretty friendly regulars. That, however, is not enough to offset the neighborhood and some of the other less pleasant regulars, or the occasionally dull or hostile environment.

Worst bar ever. Both times I went there I felt unwelcomed and nearly got into q fight because a customer tried to kick my friends and I out! If you're not a regular don't expect to have any fun.
