"It is now a tradition that whenever my partner and I are visiting a new state- we always try Thai food at least once during our trip. We are from California where there's an abundance of all types of Asian foods and we are always surprised with how good Thai food is outside of California.We usually order pad Thai (a good indicator of how good the restaurant is). We came in around 1 o'clock and we were seated almost immediately. We ordered pad Thai with shrimp and the Tom Ka Kai which has chicken, cilantro, lemon grass, pepper, tomatoes, tamarind, fish, coconut milk, chili paste and mushrooms- wow that description alone is making my mouth water. 5/5 would def recommend people to come check this place out!"

"First time here, won't be the last. We stopped by because we couldn't decide where to go and passed by realizing we had never been here after so many years. This is a nice, small, quaint place with soothing music. The staff were very friendly. Even the cook was serving and greeting people. We ordered Chicken Coconut Soup which is shared at the table. It arrived in a large volcano bowl, with flames shooting out. So cool! The fire soon calmed down and went out but it was able to keep the soup hot so the two of us could enjoy 2-3 bowls each. It was absolutely delish. A little sweet perhaps, but something we will order again. For an entree, we shared Lemon Grass Chicken which was good but it lacked the lemon grass flavor unless you gnawed on the large stems of lemon grass that were provided. The waitress advised us that their food is known for being spicy so she urged caution when ordering spiciness 1-10. We did 4 and we feel we could have gone to 6 with no problem. She did offer to us and other tables to bring out extra spice if we wanted to spice it up later. We did not take her up on the kind offer."
"My first time here, glad I decided to treat myself to lunch. I think I like better than the place on saddle creek which has been my go to for years. But the last I went there I was very disappointed. The drunken noodles were on point, sweet, Spivey flavorful exactly what I am looking for in a drunken noodle. I also appreciated the fact that I didn't have to ask for chop sticks. The veg egg rolls were crispy, tasty and not grasp at all. This restaurant was recommended by several people and I can see why! If you are a sushi lover, this is your restaurant. This will be my go-to sushi place from now on. AMBIANCE I really enjoyed the feeling of this restaurant. I had reservations for 5:30 and it only got busier as the night went on. It's clean, there is plenty of parking and it's easy to find. SERVICEThe service was incredibly fast. Menus and waters were brought immediately and it only took about 10 mins after ordering to receive the food. The waiter was attentive and polite. FOOD Everything was great! Appetizers, soup, rolls and drinks. The thing I really loved was that their sushi rolls weren't cut big. They were smaller much more manageable sizes to eat. PRICE The price was very reasonable based on the quality of the food and the service provided. I would have expect to pay a little more to be honest.

We've eaten here many times before but I always forgot to take pictures of our food before diving in! Food is always fresh and delicious, service is courteous and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing (unless you sit at the bar during football season ). Props to Cool Basil for keeping the quality of what they do at such a high level for so many years! As always, we'll be back!

This is a gem of a restaurant in Omaha! Had been wanting to try this place after seeing so many other wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint. I tried their pad Thai (you have to if it's your first time!), the level four already had a decent kick to its spice level so choose wisely! Now, my favorite pad Thai in Omaha! I also tried their crab rangoon and it was delicious as well, didn't even make it for a photo!

This has become our go-to Thai takeout spot over some of the other restaurants in town. Not sure on the ambiance, but the takeout food is always fresh and flavorful. Recently we ordered three dishes: basil fried rice with tofu, beef pad thai with extra noodles and pineapple curry combo (beef, chicken and shrimp. There spice levels are mild, medium, hot, very hot and Thai hot. The "hot" was probably more of a medium, but order accordingly. All of the food was hot, fresh and very flavorful. My combination curry had lots of big, perfectly cooked shrimp and generous portions of beef and chicken. The tofu in the basil fried rice was fried and then sautéed, so it had a great texture and flavor to it. I've been thinking about this food for a couple of days now and can't wait to order again.

My friends and I went to eat last night and had a blast! We made a reservation just in case, but when we showed up a tad early, we were seated right away. The waiter came over and got our order immediately. The food came quickly and we were so pleased! My two friends for chicken Pad Thai, and I got chicken Pad See Eew with a side of rice. The portions are very generous. I put half of mine in a box because dessert was a must. I ordered mango sticky rice and it deserves a chef's kiss!We stayed got there a little after six and stayed until they closed at 9. We never felt pressured to leave, the music was tailored to our millennial tastes and kept the vibe just as we wanted. Thanks for such a great experience!

The food is always delicious. I tend to get either a Sapporo or Stella and my husband vodka tonic. The service may take awhile to place an order so we always make sure we have time when we go here. However the food is served pretty quickly and as I stated- has always been really good. Some of our favorites are Pad Thai, Peanut Butter Chicken, Hot Curry Chicken and Garlic Chicken. There isn't much to the ambiance but the restaurant is always clean.We recommend this restaurant.

Was a bit tricky to find. We came from the south of the building and Apple Maps noted it was in the middle of the buildings. Glad once we finally located it. We asked to dine in and they had no issue; staff overall was friendly, prompt and welcoming. We shared fried spring rolls (5), satay chicken (3), and pad Thai -spice level 8/10 (4). Loved the sweet and sour sauce, and the pad Thai was just right with the spice. I would return to this restaurant for Thai again.

"Well just had Pla Too Thai for the first time. Wish I would have went there instead but I feel the food would have basically been the same. I ordered Chicken Larb. Which they call minced chicken. Now I asked for it very spicy. It was not spicy at all. I've been eating Thai food since I was 9 years old. Usually Larb is eaten with cabbage leaves and or lettuce leaves. There was none in mine. It usually has toasted rice powder in it and didn't get even a hint of it in the flavor. I had to add my own fish sauce and crushed Thai chilies. The Tom yum soup was pretty bland. Usually way more fragrant with lemongrass and galangal. Weirdly cucumbers in it. Strange."

"Food and service is top notch. This husband and wife run hidden gem behind Bellevue Medical Center is my favorite go-to for Thai. They have a buffet Weds-Friday during lunch and it truly is the best way to experience all of their offerings. If you don't see what you want, she will make some and put it on the buffet! Their crab Rangoon and fried spring rolls are some of the lightest, crunchiest ones I have put in my mouth, and the pad Thai is always on point and not Americanized like many places. But my favorite: red curry or Basil Chicken is the best! You can TASTE AUTHENTICITY and love. Above the food, you have cute gifts you can purchase, but the service is too notch. He is so extremely nice, working the front and taking care of customers while she works the kitchen. You have got to go try this place. Decor isn't fancy. You are paying for the food here! "Have worked in downtown Lincoln for 5 years and had no idea this place even existed. It is on West A which is about a 8-minute drive from campus. This place I'd call a hidden gem. I had shrimp pad Thai at level 6 spice and my friend had green curry at a 5. The dishes were fresh and so flavorful and just the right amount of heat. 6 is spicy. I would be 10 is FIRE! So, I will be back at this place. It is off the beaten path in a strip mall near an asian market and a gas station. Inside was clean and separated like if you were in an old house.
