"I've come here since I was in college and this place is great. If you come here you must get the chips, all of there dips and even the hot sauces are good, so you can't go wrong. The margaritas are also so very good. You can't go wrong. I also love that there's parking in the back! There's always street parking, but a good place near downtown with a free parking lot, it's the best."
"MY GOD I've been hearing of this place for years and finally made it this week. I ordered a sope and gordita that may or may not have changed my life. Everything was so delicious, the service was incredible, and the price was 10/10. Also make sure to try the spicy salsa (orange one) on everything! We'll be back!"
"Taco Tuesday treat! Each month they have a specific protein that is on special every Tuesday for $1/limit 5 per person. We stopped in for the last April-Al pastor one. Staff was very friendly and nice. The establishment appeared clean and open. Not many people were there when we arrived around 5:30pm but quickly picked up as we were finishing. The street tacos came w/ or w/o onions & cilantro. Simple and tasty! The sauces were a little confusing as far as heat scale. Pictured is the self serve salsa station which shows the "heat" scale under each name but when you look at the same scale for the same salsas being portioned by the staff they are different. Not sure what thats about but we enjoyed the tomatillo with ours today."
"What a great first visit. I met a friend for appetizers after work on a Tuesday. We made a reservation the day before and went right in to our table. The chicken nachos were delicious. The prickly pear margarita was really delicious. The ambience was loud and lively. I parked in the side of the building. Benson is not r to be best on weekends, but on this Tuesday night we fared will. I will definitely go back and with the Husband next time."
"Bright and airy decor in this small space is very inviting. Menus are available, but you can also order using a chalkboard menu or look at specials on a tv. Order at the counter, but they bring out your food. I ordered the loaded mac and cheese which I had before. Bookguy ordered birria ramen and Rangoon fries. The fries were unique, with wonton strips, sweet and sour sauce, some kind of white sauce and green onions. Bookguy loved them, and I liked them too. My mac and cheese was as I remembered with pasta , chicken, bacon and a three cheese sauce-- very flavorful and a generous portion. Bookguy found his burria to be a tad bit spicier than he liked, even after taking out the slices of hot pepper. He liked it overall, but didn't finish the broth due to the spice. I had water, but the cup itself smelled funky to me, like maybe it had been washed in water that had grease in it. Next time I'll try a margarita."
"Bookguy asked neighbors to recommend great taco restaurants and many people suggested Maria's in Ralston. We were shocked to discover it has been around since 1976! How had we not known about this excellent Mexican restaurant?? It's family owned and if you haven't been here, what are you waiting for? We enjoyed the ambience because the tables were not packed in. They have a heated outdoor seating area in addition to a large separate room to accommodate groups. Julie was our server, and she was great. She has been working here a long time, and is very knowledgeable. We both ordered the #8 combo with a puffy beef taco, rice and beans, and with an enchilada or a burrito. My burrito was meatless and Bookguy's was beef. The puffy tacos were wonderful and a sure antidote to the boring, tiny tacos from fast food places. We both added the salsa for a spicy kick. Puffy tacos are one of the signature dishes here. Our burritos came covered in gravy. Yes, gravy! I had expected red sauce but the menu called it gravy. And it worked! It wasn't salty and was the perfect accompaniment for our burritos. There's a full bar too, so I had one the best margaritas I've had in a long time. Our neighbors were right-- Maria's is the place for great tacos!"
"Javi's is the BEST! End! Seriously though they have the most amazing food. I could eat here every single day and never get tired of it. Service it pretty quick and food is made fresh to order. I have had street tacos and birria tacos from here. Both are delicious but birria are my absolute favorite. The order comes with 3 tacos and a side of red or cilantro lime rice. The tacos are great size and filled with a lot of meat, I usually end up taking 1 and a half home. It's a causal restaurant but a great spot to hang with friends or have a date."

I absolutely loved this place; it has such a great vibe. The drinks are top-notch, the food is fantastic, and the staff couldn't be better. I even tried dishes I wouldn't usually order and was amazed by how delicious everything was. I'd come back here again and again--I know they'll never disappoint!

Move over, Midwest! I've found the taco haven, and it's like a fiesta in my mouth. The service is riding the struggle bus - not bad, not great, just a solid "meh." But hold onto your sombrero because these tacos are throwing a party that even the service can't rain on!I'm convinced these tacos went to a flavor university because they slap. Seriously, each bite is like a taste bud carnival, and the other menu items are just the side acts trying to keep up.And guess what? For the low, low price of just 10 cents, you can get cheese on your taco. It's the best dime you'll ever spend, trust me. The cheese is like the superhero cape of the taco world - it just makes everything better. So, if you're into tacos that dance on your taste buds and don't mind a side of "meh" service, then this is the place to go. Ten cents for cheese? That's practically a taco tax I'm willing to pay for this flavor fiesta!

I have been looking for a good breakfast taco/burrito for a while now and I believe I found it at Javi's. They provide a number of options, but I recommend either the $4 taco or $10 burrito. I ordered the bacon taco twice this week, which included egg, hash browns, and shredded cheese on a flour tortilla (also offer corn). The also had more topping available.Observations: they do a great job blending it all together. So when you take a bit, you get all the flavors and not just a pocket of cheese here and meat there. The portion is huge, with toppings overflowing out of the tortilla. The filling could have easily filled two tortillas.I do ask for two things that I think makes it even better. (1) I ask them to extra cook the bacon and hash browns to make them extra crispy. (2) I have them toast the tortilla, so it holds up to the massive filling.

Always have been a big supporter of Taco Co. I love the uniqueness and simplicity of the food menu. Enjoy all of the creative drink options and is definitely such a vibe inside.

Just went here Sunday for brunch for the first time and I'd say I may pass on the brunch next time and order from the original menu even if it is brunch time. The waffles and huevos rancheros were good, just not mind blowing. Kids loved the French fries of course; I felt they were just good. However, my husband said the surf and turf burrito is the best burrito he's ever had. I actually got the chorizo on the side for my huevos R, but he ate that and said that was pretty good too! we ordered an extra side of bacon and rice, and those were also standard. The inside was pretty chilly in mid-November at the front of the restaurant, but my stubborn family didn't want to move to the back where it was much warmer. Its an interesting set up, like you order from the front counter and then they bring it out to you. Kind of like good lookin if you ever had eaten there. Overall the staff was very friendly and nice. I'd love to come back to try more of the non-brunch items and perhaps update my review!

Yay! We find a new favorite taco Tuesday spot! Available as a pair of chicken, beef or mixed tacos in a puff shell, these are delicious, filling and not boring. We also ordered chips and queso, and added the hot sauce that was on the table to both the chips and the tacos. The margarita was served in a glass and was quite tasty. Open since the 1970s, and we can see why!

I absolutely LOVE Javi's queso. It is my favorite queso I have ever had. I also love their HUGE burritos whether I am having one for breakfast or lunch! The workers there have always been nice and friendly to me when I go in (I normally get it to go). It is always very clean in any Javi's location I've gone to. I also really love their fried shrimp street tacos! Javi's is definitely a go to for me especially their chips and queso (16 ounce every time) as well as their breakfast burritos. You can't go wrong with getting chorizo or birria or bacon or a combo of these in it.

Went with a group of 9 on a Sunday early evening. We had reservations and our table was mostly ready when we arrived. We ordered some queso dip for an appetizer. Was good and also loved their thin and not too salty chips. Salsa was good as well.Service was very quick and friendly although we gave up on getting utensils for everyone and ended up taking them off other non occupied tables. I had the shredded beef flautas. They were perfectly fried but the beef could have definitely used more flavor. Tried dipping in salsa and queso and that helped. The refried beans were delicious!! Was going to order a cheese and onion enchilada but was told the cheese inside of them is mozzarella. Can't say I ever had a mozzarella enchilada. I skipped it but who knows...maybe it's good!! All in our party seemed to enjoy their food.I would come back again and maybe try something else.

"We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite when we were visiting. This place had great reviews and a tasty menu. It was a Friday night and we were sat immediately. I had the skinny margarita and my husband has the blood orange margarita. Both were huge and delicious. The chips and salse came right away. Chips were thin and crispy and salsa was great. We shared the street corn, which was listed a desert, but was a good sized portion and delicious. I had the carnitas tacos and my husband had the cartinas. The portions were huge and meals were super flavorful. The restaurant was located in the strip mall, but had a great cozy feel. There were list of tables and booths. The bar has some seating too. Service was fast and efficient. Despite a full restaurant our food came in 5-10 minutes."
"Delicious Mexican food, we enjoyed the carne asada and surf and turf tacos. Our tacos were on the spicy side and delicious I'm not sure if that was their normal seasoning or if the cook was just heavy handed on our order but it was tasty and we were perspiring;) the ambiance was raised back they also served beer on draft. A lot of people were dining it and taking out orders."
"Yum! What a great experience. Just north of Dodge on 204th street Javi's newest location is located for east drive thru or parking access for dine in. All orders are customized with the freshest ingredients ; their guacamole and salsas (all heatlevels so watch out!) are awesome. The restaurant is open and very clean. The service is wonderful and exceptionally friendly. Pricing is reasonable for the wonderful food provided. We stopped in for a midday snack and we're not disappointed. You must check out this restaurant the next time you're in the Elkhorn area in need of a taco fix."
"Fabulous fast Mexican fare! Fresh and hot chips on order.Great tacos and Tortas! Great price"
"We stopped by here on a whim yesterday, and were the only ones in the restaurant right when they opened. Our server was very friendly and took care of us quickly. I was upset that they ran out of beef used for Philly cheesesteaks, but they were very apologetic about it. I ended up ordering what my wife did which was the Hawaiian longboard, but I opted for the Korean barbecue sauce. Everything was very good but I will admit I have a heart set on a Philly cheesesteak."
"I'm Mexican American born and raised San Diego, CA girl....I wasn't expecting good food in Lincoln during our visit. Holy smokes am I glad we tried this! Best birria I've ever had. The grilled cheese was PHENOMENAL. Beans and rice were what was expected but the tacos and meat were amazing. Thank you and well done"
"Thanks to the GH app, I decided to give this place another try. Heard things changed and I can attest they certainly had. I am a big wings guy and the chargrilled certainly didn't disappoint. Large, meaty, not soaked in sauce and really crispy. I added some hand cuts and it was a very solid meal. They are close by and this is the first time GrubHub app worked flawless. Top tip: highly recommend their sampler: huge selection. We did the soft pretzels, fingers and queso dip. Certainly will try something new on the next try. My only knock for not a 5 star, move your cig butt can away from the front door. As people wait outside all you smell is that. I tended bar for years back in the day, not a snob about it, just wouldn't detract from your food on pick ups."
"I took the drive-through and ordered two entrée platters one was fish tacos and the other chicken enchiladas. Both come with refried beans and Mexican rice and two hot sauce options. From the time ordered till when I got my food- it was only a couple of minutes which was impressive! They take cash and credit card, And also have a drive-through that opens past many other dining options for late night. Overall I would call it homemade fast food Mexican. Much better than Taco Bell, but Certainly an indulgent treat in terms of nutrition :D"
"We stopped for a quick bite to eat. We both had a smoked brisket taco. It was very good with cilantro sour cream and a sweet chili sauce. My friend doesn't like cilantro but she said it was such a small amount in the sour cream that it was good. The sweet chili sauce was a great flavor for the taco!!! A bit pricey for a taco. A small menu easy to decide. Only bottle soda, no fountain. There isn't anywhere to sit inside but there are a couple chairs and tables outside and it was a nice evening to sit outside and it is in the shade. Service was quick and they will bring your food outside to you. I would probably go again for a snack!"
"Quick and decent. I've gone twice now and it's probably changed my outlook on the whole Flagship in the mall deal. I had the burrito bowl, both chicken and pork. Decent portion size and a good balance of ingredients. The chips are pretty good, light and salted just right. The service was pretty good also, but we did go when it was al little slower. We had a GC both time, so that was the reason we even went....but i could go back."
