"Soooo, when my friend invited me for lunch here, I was like "Ionno" Morman Bridge area, country music and pick up trucks. But was I in for a surpriseThe staff was super friendly, the service was awesome and the atmosphere was totally a cabin, but not in the woods. I ordered onion rings and fried pickles and my friend ordered chicken wings and gizzards. The rings were delicious, perfectly cooked and not greasy, the fried pickles were good, but a bit salty. The wings, those wings -oh yeah I WILL be back for those, they were not pigeon wings, they were wings from a full grown chicken and I totally appreciate that, they also had great flavor. Last but not least, the gizzards, I am not a fan of anybody's organ meat, but my friend talked me into trying one and I ate 3. So apparently I didn't mind going back for more. I wish the dipping sauces had a bit more pizzaz, but ketchup sufficed. I will be going there again and will take pictures. That was a big 'ol basket o rings! IJS"
"Good service and waiter was very attentive. Went around 4 on a Sunday and it was decently busy. Noise level was mid and the drinks we ordered didn't take long at all! We only got an appetizer and it was alright! I would come back to try more on the menu!"
"804 Main has great hamburgers. Food is good as well as great drinks from the bar. Food is prompt and service is friendly. They make you feel welcomed."
"Great neighborhood sports bar. Servers working hard to get orders out and take care of tables. Had the chicken bacon melt and my sweetie had the hangover burger. A few beers and we're set. Plenty of tvs so every spot had a good view. Staff pleasant and attentive."
"For a Keno bar this place is great. Food is so-so, service is great, place is so clean I can still smell the bleach they cleaned with. Sort of a good thing, but also kind of a turnoff. The music is awesome not too white, not too black, not too country and not too rap, it's in a great middle place where everyone can enjoy it. There's a pool table, dart board and most importantly keno. The crowd is mixed and for a Friday afternoon there's a good number of people here, but not crowded. I would definitely come here again if I was hanging with someone who loves keno. But the food would not lure me back, sorry. The drinks are decently strong and the quantity of food we got was more than sufficient. We got a combo basket for under $13 and we couldn't finish it so it was worth it. Gastro Pub this place is not, but it's a great place to hang out and play keno and shoot pool."
"Stopped in here for a quick beer and appetizer after some meetings nearby. What a great experience! Manda took such good care of me! Chips and salsa are fresh and seasoned perfectly. I had 3 tacos, fish, chicken and beef, and all were great! Manda offered 3 different house made salsas to go with them and all were spot on! If you want some great conversation, excellent service and tasty food, this is now my fav spot to go to decompress!"
"I enjoy St. Andrew's Pub on occasion. It's a great spot to grab a seat at the bar and watch the big game. Plus it's usually not too crowded during weeknights, which is a bonus for me the older I get. There are a few giant TVs plus smaller TVs at each of the booths. Ask the bartender to turn it to whatever game you want to watch and they'll usually be able to accommodate. If you're into golf or soccer, this is a prime spot to watch both. I mean it's named after the birthplace of modern golf (St. Andrew's in Scotland) and they're the only place in Omaha I've ever seen Tennent's ("Scotland's favorite pint") on tap. Plus plenty of Scotch and whiskey to keep your mouth wet. However, when this place gets crowded on the weekends, I've found it quite unpleasant. Loud, drunk people everywhere just going nuts. But that's anywhere in Benson these days."
"Looks to be a very popular place as its filling up nicely with all age groups for a Thursday lunchtime. The salad bad was a very nice surprise. The lettuce could have been chopped up some to avoid large pieces. Otherwise it had a nice variety to chose from. The club sandwich was very good as it was piled high with meat, cheese, tomato, lettuce and mayo. Was able to get an iced tea to go. Always a plus."
"Probably should almost be a 4 star review. Huge bar with lots of TV's for sure. We tried the thin crust cheese pizza and the regular crust. Surprisingly we preferred the regular crust. The pizza isn't anything out of this world it's just basic but good with a good tomato taste as well.Since we were eating so healthy (haha) decided to try the plate of bacon for an appetizer mostly because I've never seen a plate of bacon as an app before. It was okay. Honestly would pass next time though as I prefer my bacon crunch. This was mostly chewy but crisp on some ends but over crisp burnt taste. Probably a good thing I didn't love it!Nice patio with a few smaller TV's. look forward to sitting out there in some good weather."
"Another yearly visit to Norfolk. Things seemed to run smoother. Perhaps because the place was packed on a Friday evening. Added a hostess station as opposed to just finding a table. Food good as well. Loaded burger was flavorful. The open face beef sandwich was tasty. Adult beverages (Long Island ice tea) was well done. Just had to walk back to our room."
"Excellent food. Friendly service. I go every Wednesday with a few of my neighbors & the staff at Tanner's know us by name & can pretty much guess what we will order."
"Here we go walking down memory lane once more, I was meeting another High School friend for catch up and a beer and what is rememberable is the other tables listening to out conversation about what use to be here, it was a sand pit area where us high schoolers use to party! Now it's called a "Lake" it was more like party central for us so the visit here had a bit more meaning for us as for the food and beverages you won't go wrong coming here"

First time visiting Omaha and this was the first restaurant I ate at. My party and I ordered several items off the vast menu and walked away full and happy with only good things to say! We began with Volcano Tots (tots smothered in queso topped with beef, Gouda mac, buffalo popcorn chicken and chipotle ranch, $10.99) which were incredible. Absolutely delicious and I had to pace myself to avoid filling up on these. 100% recommend. Next, we shared the Carne Asada tacos ($12.99), which comes with three. DAMN these bad boys slapped. The beef was exploding with flavor and perfectly tender. Someone got the Chili Mac ($14.99) and it was delicious as well. The chef was generous with the chili! Lastly, we shared the Blaze Burger (two steak burgers, house queso, pickled jalapeños and pepper jack cheese, $13.99) with sweet potato fries. PHEW, this one sure packed a punch. Them jalapeños were HOT. This was my favorite item. I'm sure I ate most of it. I wished the fries were a lil bit crispier but they still hit the spot. Next time around, I'll be trying their pizza which I also heard raving reviews on. This place is definitely living up to its name. It's a freaking good life and even better when you're here.

Awesome place to eat and awesome people. It's the best bar and grill in Norwalk. Never ever had bad food, and they have a little bit of everything.

Club sandwich wasn't too bad. They were out of turkey and happily substituted chicken. The sandwich was a little bit dry but again, they happily supplied mayo on the side for me. Fries were super hot and the bartender was extremely nice.Nice selection of beers which I didn't have but my dining partner did.Music was not to my liking and a bit loud for me. I don't think rap is typical for a sports bar but I have been known to be wrong a time or two.

Dropped in for a quick lunch before meeting family for a bowling outing. Ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich and service was exceptional. Pleased with the overall experience.

The atmosphere is what you'd expect here--casual quick dining spot which is just what we needed for a group galentines night.I got the shrimp fajitas and these were perfectly cooked with great flavor and a LOT of food! I saved some for a second meal and still had leftovers. The drinks were great too--mainly tequila based which is not my favorite but everyone else liked the margaritas. I would definitely come back!

With so many bars in Benson now, all hosting craft beers and hipstery Benson vibes, it's probably hard to pick a favorite these days. In my opinion, Benson is the place to do a bar crawl (sorry Old Market).St. Andrews is next to Beercade, and on the main part of the Benson strip. It was really busy when we entered (bar #3 on our stops) at around 11pm on a Saturday. There was lot of loud music, games of darts going down, and TVS tuned to SNL and ESPN. I tried an apricot saison that I enjoyed a lot. The beer menu is a mix of unique things like my saison, but you can get a tall boy Coors here as well. No food or food menu that I saw, but friendly enough staff and $4-5 beers which is fair. This bar is not insanely unique from others on the strip, but proposes another watering hole for Benson visitors to get their fill of fun.

Delicious, inexpensive, & great service. Not your regular bar food taste or items.. just really good food and large variety of choices. We can't say enough about the food or price. Huge menu, try as many items as you can by splitting meals and taking left overs home. Daily specials are offered for example a Mexican menu & a daily salad bar is offered. Everything is delicious & most items under $10

"New spot opened up, very nice remodeled interior, plenty of tables, nice length bar with high top stools. Electronic darts, 2 pool tables and a mix of bar arcades. I've eaten her for lunch a few times and had great service, prices are very fair, daily specials, everything ordered so far has been top notch, fresh ingredients, cooked to order, very nice size portions . Also have daily specials that taste like they are made from scratch. Super happy this place is close by. Will be back many times"
"Stopped by for lunch. There js parking available. We were attended to immediately It was relatively empty when we popped by. Ambience is like a typical sports bar. Wasn't very noisy- moderate. Hubby ordered a beer - blue moon and I ordered an unsweetened ice tea. It came in decent time. They checked on us and asked what we would like for lunchHubby and I both ordered salads. He ordered a taco salad and I ordered the vineyard salad. Both salads were very fresh. Hubby's taco strips weren't enough. I thought mine was decent. Loved the combination of the vineyard salad. There were many TVs showing sports games. Hubby thought the channels were not ideal as some channels were not showing anything 'decent'. I have no opinions there.Overall decent place to be for a lunch ."
"Good Life is one of my favorites in Omaha. Their tacos are always so fire and they have the best customer service!Last week, I picked up lunch and unfortunately, my car battery died in their parking lot. After dealing with getting my car towed and fixed, I made it home several hours later to finally enjoy my tacos only to see that they gave me the wrong meat. I ordered chicken tacos and they gave me beef tacos. I called their restaurant and kindly explained what happened. It had been a very long day to day the least. Their manager was so lovely and sweet. She took my name to get a replacement meal for the next day. I called Amy at GL the following day and she made it right with me. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. They have a lifelong patron with me after that. Their food is absolutely delicious. They have a million TVs so you can watch whichever game your heart desires. They have great daily specials. And best of all, their staff is the best!"
"The wings was so delicious, I only dipped maybe 3-4 in the ranch sauce and that was it. I felt the ranch was robbing the wings of their unbelievable flavor. The nachos...I was extremely disappointed. I paid however much I paid for the nachos and was disappointed in the end. My disappointment was that I couldn't finish them!! I read a review that said if you order the nachos, don't order anything else. But I'm a big boy so I ordered wings to go with my nachos and yeah, I barely finished half. It's an extremely generous serving and was delicious. I forgot to mention I didn't want sour cream but thankfully the staff didn't put the sour cream on my nachos, it was served on the side in a little cup. I really appreciated that. They did have a bar you could go sit at, looks like a really nice place. I definitely look forward to stopping by again next time I'm in town. One last thing, I'm very big on leaving tips to those who work in restaurants. In a society that suddenly has become "tip hungry", it's those in the restaurant industry who are affected the most. A guy helps an old lady cross the street then ask her if she'll like to give him a tip. It's ridiculous. But it's those in food service who don't ask for a tip, despite that being more than 50% of their pay. I ordered my food online and intentionally didn't leave a tip because I was planning on giving a cash tip when I picked my food up. I went into the restaurant to pickup my food and forgot about the cash in my pocket. I returned to the truck stop and drove away. 200 miles later, I realized what I did and felt horrible. To the staff who prepared me an absolute amazing meal, I sincerely apologize for forgetting to leave that cash tip."
"A bowling alley bar, but separated enough from the bowling alley to take on its own personality. Part sports bar, part lounge, with an outdoor area called The Beach Club. The bar has an unusual, complicated layout that puts the bartender at the same level as some of the customers, but reaching up from a pit to serve other customers. This was a pretty decent place, with enough personality and amenities to make it fun. Not bad at all for a bowling alley bar."
"This place is underrated! They have frosty m beer mugs which is hard to find my father in law love it! The food is excellent and so was the service"
"This place is total old school - and that my friends is a good thing. I love these kind of places. Everybody knows everybody and everyone is friendly - from the staff to the regulars. Now in all honesty the last review compared the burgers here to Stella's, they are not even close. But with that being said the burger was very good, patty melt was great, fries were standard issue and onion rings were pretty darn good. The prices here seem almost too good to be true. The bartender/waitress was very nice. I would go back here anytime."
"fun place to go to. good food options to snack on. i've been many times and always had a good experience!"
"Great place in Crete. Fast service, good food and prices. Plenty of TVs and beers from which to choose."
"Welcome to the most inconsistent restaurant in Omaha. We've been here a handful of times and every time parts of the meal are really good and parts are mediocre. Drinks - wife's cocktail wasn't fancy but tasty. I ordered a michalada, but they were out of their mix. So they used Bloody Mary mix, so very sub par. Food - sons fajitas outstanding and huge portionWife's fish taco was something else, and not good. It was The driest fish we ever experienced, seriously reminded me of eating jerky, but her shrimp taco was perfectly cooked. My pastor tacos again pretty dry, but the shrimp taco was cooked excellent. Server was friendly enough, but seemed disengaged."
"This is a decent Tanner's location. The chicken "lips", burgers, tots and fries are their strong suit. Today I made the mistake of straying into their Mexican offerings. I had the chicken taco special. It was pretty bad. They use ground chicken, which is not to my taste. I should have known better. The salsa is also pretty bad. Oh, and the chocolate cake, also not good. They drizzle Hershey's chocolate syrup over it for some reason which makes it extra bad.So why 3 stars? They have a very personable server in Rain. She made our dining experience fun. That counts for lot in my book. Also, this bad lunch was partially my fault. Tanner's does fried bar food well. Go off the beaten path at your own peril."
"This is the kind of bar that you go to with friends and family. When you show up, if you're wearing camouflage, you will be asked if you have served in the armed forces or been to Kosovo. Usually that's by some snaggletooth woman. I didn't have a great time here, but if I need something to drink this is an easy spot on the way home. You can usually find a few bar Hags. On occasion there's a dead body in the back alley by the dumpster, however that was a long time ago. Using text-to-speech or speech to text on the phone is not very good , much like the bar. You may find me here on one occasion possibly two but usually not more than that"
"Great place to grab a drink and have some bar food with friends. Love the nachos. Good traditional bar fare. Wings, burgers, grilled sandwiches and the like. Large outdoor seating area that gets a good breeze in the warm months and has heaters in the winter.Recently updated tvs and sound system. Plenty of goods views of multiple options anywhere in the building. Easily one of the more well equipped sports bars in town electronic wise. Typically very polite and well trained staff."
"I love a good dive bar for a good Burger.. Tonight after spending some time with friends a group of us decided to stop here and have a night cap.. Many of us had not had dinner so we decided to order off the menu.. Great selection and the amount of food you get for the money is crazy. We all commented on how great the food tasted as well is food tasted as well as the quantity of food that we received we received.I am not sure how I've missed this place in the past, but I know it will be on my list in the future."
"This is a great neighborhood bar and grill in the old BWW location off maple. We came in during happy hour and had a few beers and appetizers. The pretzel bites were absolutely the best I've had in town. Perfectly crispy, salty and soft on the inside. For $3 yeah you need these. I'd skip the spin-dip and cheese it was really tough to eat and the chips broke every dip. They have dozens of local and imported beer on tap and get environment. Our server was also really attentive and helpful. My first time here, I loved it! Great weekly specials to check out."
"One of the nicer dive bars in town. When I say nice, I'm not talking about a pretty interior. I'm talking about the cheap drinks. The customers this night consisted of a bunch of drunken college students. They were a bit rowdy, but not too loud or obnoxious. There are $2.50 drink specials every weeknight. Actually cheaper than DJ's Dugout. The day I went (Thursday) it was well whiskey highballs. Call whiskies were $3.50. Still not bad. It'd be a good place to chill and chat for sure. I will be back."
"Great Pizza, nice place, and personal service! Owner is also a great guy who was more then happy to chat with us about his place. Stop by with the family or even for an off tv game!"
"Went here with a group of 4 before a concert and I was impressed! The place was crowded and the atmosphere was just lively to be in. Everything we got tasted amazing, but my favorite would probably be the pizza. They burnt our pizza & kindly made us a new one AND they took it off our tab! I would also recommend the garlic teriyaki for the wings over the chipotle honey. Our food came out in a decent manner, however our waitress would forget about our drinks/condiments when asked, but it was probably because of how busy the place was. The crispy mozzarella had a nice cheese pull after taking the first bite and the onion rings came out crispy too. My least favorite was the onion rings, but it was still good!!"
"My family loves coming to The Good Life when we want a casual, laid-back lunch or dinner. We brought our out-of-state family here last weekend for the full Nebraska experience and it didn't disappoint. This place is definitely an Omaha staple and one of the best sports bars in town. The smashed mac was great and I'm obsessed with their good life fries. Not a fan of their pickles, they taste a bit off to me, but that's my only complaint. Our waitress was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their big outdoor patio with lights is perfect for summer hangouts. Just a heads-up if there's a Nebraska game, good luck finding a table it gets PACKED!"
"I'm a tenderloin eater, I can tell you the best place in just about any county in Iowa, I've had them all. This place has the best in Iowa, hands down. Bold statement I know and I don't make that comment lightly but it is a fact. That's all I know about this place."
"Came here for open bowling and was not let down. It definitely has the feels of a local bowling alley, with mismatched balls, clay machines and a small bar.The best thing about this place is it was very affordable. It was 2.50 per game on a Tuesday night, and 2.50 for shoes. Definitely would go back here again!"
"Music too loud on a football Saturday! Great games on & they're blasting DJ music!!!Not a sports atmosphere at all!!!"
"Great place for a small gathering of friends, for drinks, pizza, darts and a friendly game of pool ....lots of TV's for watching sports."
