We are so glad for this. The long detour is absolutely worth it. The service was top notch! Then the food came out - General Tso chicken. Oh my goodness! It was fantastic! The fire (tv) is warm and inviting, and everything is very clean! We got eating so fast I failed to capture the food, but the my word for it, you'll be happy here!"

Move over, Midwest! I've found the taco haven, and it's like a fiesta in my mouth. The service is riding the struggle bus - not bad, not great, just a solid "meh." But hold onto your sombrero because these tacos are throwing a party that even the service can't rain on!I'm convinced these tacos went to a flavor university because they slap. Seriously, each bite is like a taste bud carnival, and the other menu items are just the side acts trying to keep up.And guess what? For the low, low price of just 10 cents, you can get cheese on your taco. It's the best dime you'll ever spend, trust me. The cheese is like the superhero cape of the taco world - it just makes everything better.So, if you're into tacos that dance on your taste buds and don't mind a side of "meh" service, then this is the place to go. Ten cents for cheese? That's practically a taco tax I'm willing to pay for this flavor fiesta!

One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants! We actually recommend it to people anywhere in Omaha because it's so good! The quality of the food is really good, we've never had a bad meal here. The portion sizes are massive, and price for the product is very reasonable compared to what they give you. The service is always fast and friendly, and ordering to go is easy whether it's online or over the phone.So far I've tried the shrimp lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, peanut butter chicken, fried rice, steamed rice, crab Rangoon, and egg roll. Nothing I haven't liked yet! (I wish I had photos of the food, I'm bad at taking photos first when the food is so good!)

First time visiting Dragon Cafe and I was pleasantly surprised! This place is super busy with a bunch of customers inside and to-go orders coming through! They have a sushi bar but it wasn't open so it took a little longer to come through the main kitchen. But the place was beautiful and had nice music on!We got 3 special rolls from their large menu of sushi! Hands down best shrimp tempura I have ever had in a roll. The crunchiest piece in every bite and amazing spicy tuna. Our favorite was the Nebraska Husker Roll. The 2011 roll had so much fresh sushi with a ponzu sauce on the side that was perfection. Bookguy, Big Bro, and I stopped in at the GI Forum for lunch. Originally established in Texas to provide support for the rights of Hispanics in the American military, it has a plethora of veteran resources cited on their website. For those of us who are non-military, it has become a great place to eat and is open to the general public. We were seated quickly, received menus, and ordered. My interest was in the toad taco, but when the waitress told me the chili in it was very hot, I opted for a bean taco. Bookguy was disappointed to find that the very hot chili was the only kind. We had previously ordered chili from Nettie's and missed the hot warning so we decided to heed it this time. Bookguy ended up with shrimp and fries. Big Bro ordered a huge beef dinner plate of a taco, enchilada, tostada, with rice and beans included. We also ordered mixed chips and guac. Big Bro had a margarita which looked good to me, but I was driving.I liked the taco which was generously stuffed with beans, lettuce, cheese, and diced tomatoes. I added the salsa from the table. It was excellent. With the chips and flavorful guac, I had a just right lunch. Bookguy said his shrimp and fries were just ok. Big Bro thought everything in his meal was very good, except he wasn't sold on the rice. He wanted another margarita but decided against it and said he should have ordered the grande size. It's amazing to me that the prices here are so reasonable. It's good for families on a budget. They do charge extra for using a credit card. It's not fancy, but it's clean, bright and inviting. What's not to like?

We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was a busy night, but we found out when we got home that we failed to get what we actually ordered. I ordered a chicken and vegetable dish, and received a half full dish with shrimp, celery, and carrots? Called the restaurant only to be told that the person answering could not help us and a manager needed to call us back.. which took another thirty minutes. Said it's a glitch with their online ordering system. Do yourself a favor and call in to order, and bring your patience."

We had orange chicken, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, Szechuan chicken, shrimp chow mein, vegetables fried rice, crab Rangoon and of course egg rolls. The only complaint was that the Rangoon had soft edges, but o prefer that. The whole meal cost 75, so they through in two 2L sodas of our choosing. This wall all take out food by the way. It's not really a place to sit and eat. We did see one other customer and I asked him if the food was good here. He said he drives all the way across town to get it. I agree with his assessment. It's worth the extra 10 minutes."

I've been pushing myself to try new places and so decided to try this out myself and WOW! This is some of the best Chinese food I have found in Omaha and in general and trust me I have had a lot of bad Chinese in my days.When I think of American Chinese food and how it should taste this is exactly how I picture it. I got the lunch specials which includes the entree of your choice, rice or lo mein with a upcharge and either crab Rangoon or an egg roll. An excellent value for lunch you get lots of food!My go to dishes are cashew chicken and Mongolian beef, I tried both and both were really good! I'm very thankful I have a really good cashew chicken option to choose from because most places never make it the way I like it and this place does!If you notice the negative reviews they were many years old like even up to 9 years and complaining about things like not having delivery drivers, obviously times are changed and I got this order quickly on DoorDash! Don't let the old reviews discourage you from trying! Delicious Chinese and I will definitely be back!"
