"The service, food and overall atmosphere was top notch! My steak was cooked to perfection. The deviled eggs with bacon was a hit as an appetizer! We will definitely be back!"
"It's been a couple years since I've been there so wanted to do another visit after I saw they had smoked chicken thighs on the menu. The last time there we ordered the five cheese pepper pasta and again that was a couple years ago. Really enjoyed it so we ordered it again. It was a bit of a different color. It was not a creamy color. The owner explained it was because of not being able to get the same peppers. Regardless, it was still good and had a good kick to it. I know we eat with our eyes so to me it did not taste quite as creamy. The smoked chicken thighs however were quite disappointing. I've had smoked chicken thighs before and really enjoyed them. These were not only small but very dry. The reason for the four stars is because the owner is super nice and actually brought me an extra chicken thigh because he acknowledged that they were so small. Unfortunately, that did not make up for the dryness of them. Darn it! Bananas fosters was great. Could have used an extra banana but super delicious sauce! Again, owner is super accommodating and that's where all the stars come in for sure! Certainly worth a visit they will make sure you are happy."

"We have stopped by in the past but this trip we stayed at the moxie and it is right around the corner. With the weather being a tundra this weekend thank goodness we love Jams!First stop for brunch, ambiance is beautiful and comfortably designed.Pre show dinner sat at the bar and had the salmon salad. So yummy and filling.Came back for night cocktail and desert everything on the desert menu looked amazing except for the cheesecake- I would be so much healthier if cheesecake were the only desert but it is not and I am so glad because I had the fabulous Chocolate Crème Brûlée!! Oh my gawd. The staff was awesome - letting us finish watching the Commanders vrs Lions Game.Of course we will be back!Unless can we get one going in Des Moines?"
"Shucks by far has the BEST and the MOST fresh seafood in Omaha. Their oysters are so good, the flavor points are spot on, and they're perfectly shucked and cleaned up. The lobster bisque literally feels like a hug and the toasty soda bread served up with it is perfection. For being a restaurant and a seafood market, it's a busy place but they get you right in and make sure you're always taken care of. I like that the seafood market is front and center so you can see all the fresh seafood and things to purchase and take home. The restaurant itself is cozy and gives me fresh east coast seaside vibes right here in the heart of the Midwest. Everyone is always kind, friendly, and happy to serve you. It was Oyster Fest yesterday and today and even with the influx of customers and busy environment, the experience was still wonderful and the staff did awesome! Every dining experience at Shucks has been a positive one and it's such a treat and a privilege to have access to fresh seafood and a great meal. You all are doing an amazing job!!"
"I like Shucks - good food in a comfortable atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service. We started with the Shucks puppies, which are really not like hush puppies at all, but are shrimp, grits, and cheese. They were fine; basically I'm going to be happy with anything that's made into a ball and deep-fried. Right? I got the blackened cod with red beans and rice. It was fine but i probably won't get it again. It came with a LOT of red beans and rice. In my opinion, if they cut the size of the red beans and rice serving in half and replaced it with slaw, salad, literally anything...that the amount of red beans and rice would still be more than what the average diner would need.We appreciate that Shucks has a variety of hot sauces on the table, and malt vinegar (it is a huge peeve of mine when places that serve fish and chips don't have malt vinegar).Happy hour specials are great, enjoyed the margarita.Music was on but the volume was low enough that we could have a conversation over never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down.I didn't get the clam chowder this time - but I've had it before and honestly, I swear it was the best clam chowder I ever had. Way, way better than some I've eaten at legendary San Francisco places. I didn't get it this time; maybe I was worried it would let me down. But it would never do that, right? I'll make sure to get it next time."
"The food is amazing! We had the 5 course meal and we just have the chef surprise us on what was coming out. The chef and his staff are so friendly. The ambiance is great!"
"A wonderful brunch experience! We were able to make a reservation and seated immediately. The restaurant is located in Aksarben so there is plenty of complimentary parking in the area. The restaurant has indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. This location also has a large private room for meeting and/or party events. We were comfortable my seated in the main dining area. The restaurant is modern and exceptionally clean. Our server was very attentive and helpful. We were informed that the brunch menu is honored until 3 PM on Sundays and the full menu all day long. We had appeziters for the table and everyone enjoyed brunch menu items. The food items were excellent and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed all the items which were served with fresh fruit sides. The value for our meal was great and we will be returning again."
"My husband and I came to town to celebrate our anniversary. After speaking with a few locals and the staff from our hotel we knew Omaha Prime would be the best place for our anniversary dinner. When we came in for our reservation we were greeted warmly and wished a happy anniversary. We ordered a round of drinks and the Chilean Sea Bass, the 14 oz KC strip steak, and a baked potato to share. The sea bass was absolutely delicious and the garlic sauce was to die for. My husband raved on his steak and potatoes as well. The service was absolutely top tier, and we were gifted cheesecake for an anniversary dessert. I truly loved everything about this place. If you find yourself in the area we highly recommend stopping in for your next steak dinner."
"We stopped here for dinner when we were in the area based on a friend's recommendation. First impression from the outside (see picture) and confirmed once inside was of a 70s-era steakhouse (dark, no windows & dark decor). That is not a knock / negative comment, just an observation.Once inside, it was quite crowded but we were quickly welcomed by Joe the bartender who asked our names and then repeated them several times before we left. I started off by ordering a Brandy Alexander ice cream drink (see picture) and loved it.We enjoyed the table bread, which included plenty of available butter (see picture). My wife overheard some other patrons talking about how good the onion rings were. Since the large is only $1 more than the small we ordered a large (see picture) and both thought they were good. The best part of the meal was the salad with the house creamy garlic dressing (see picture) - both the dressing and the croutons were delicious. For our main course we went with the London Broil (see picture) - which unfortunately was the weakest part of the meal. The slice laying on top was medium rare as ordered (see picture), but the other slices bordered on medium-well to well done. As you might expect, those other pieces were dry, tough and lacking flavor. When the owner stopped by our table (before we got our main course), he did mention that there was a substitute chef that night - so this dish might be better on another night.Food: 4Atmosphere: 3Value: 3Service: 5If you found this review helpful, please click to show your support."
"Great food, great service! We always enjoy going to the Downtown Shucks location, so decided to give this one a try. It's a winner, too. It's a more open space than the downtown one. The decor is similar though the downtown one feels like a more genuinely "rustic" environment. It's all good, this one seems classier, I guess, for lack of a better term.So - my goal for the visit was to compare the clam chowder to the lobster bisque to see which one I liked better. Well, this was impossible as they are both amazing! The chowder is chunky and the bisque is smooth. They are both very rich, the bisque seems more so. I felt that the bisque was saltier, not too much, but approaching it (to my taste anyway). The chowder is probably going to stay my go-to soup but the bisque can be a nice occasional treat.I think I mentioned in the other review that the clam chowder at Shucks is the best I ever had, including ones at places in San Francisco that claim to be the Best Ones."
"Made a reservation for 4 because never been here and glad I did! The parking lot probably needs to be expanded but good location. When first walking in there is a revolving door that you have to push hard. There is a bakery right as you walk in along with pasta machines and a display case of all the desserts. I love the fact that our chairs were roller chairs as it made it much easier to scoot in or out. The service was great, our waiter was an older gentleman and he gave great recommendations! The music was light but ole fashioned and the decor was old parts of boats, and beautiful paintings. The food was so delicious. My friend ordered the feasting bread and OMG it was so much bread but so light, and full of flavor! I was sad they didn't have ranch but the creamy Italian dressing they had was so delicious I could have brought a container home. I highly recommend the Noah's Chicken Parmigiana - it's phenomenal!! There is a small side of spaghetti that is served with it as well. My friend ordered the pork chops for two and she said she liked it. Bf and I decided to try dessert and I definitely was not disappointed. I love tiramisu but the waiter suggested the berry one, it was so flavorful of berries and cream! I wasn't sure I would like it as I'm not a huge fan of berries but it was by far the best dessert I've had in a long time. Bf tried the salted caramel crumb cake and he said it was good. Prices are about average for this type of dining as well. We will definitely be going back!"
"The place for Birria! From quesadillas to fries, to nachos to ramen; they offer a wide array of how you can get their tender with slight spice Birria. There's also endless sushi and other dish options. Full bar but my favorite here are the Cantaritos--tangy with a chamoy Tajin rim. A large restaurant means no waiting for a table and the servers are always attentive."

Service was fine. Ambiance was noisy. And the food was terrible. Over 40% of our meals needed to be sent back for being over-cooked or under-cooked. And I RARELY send food back. The broccoli was the best thing I ate all night - and it was just broccoli.... I've eaten here dozens of times (it has been a while) - I hope this isn't the new normal, though I won't be back. Worst meal I've had in Omaha in over 5 years.

Omg. My wife and I went here for dinner and I'm still thinking about how amazing this place was. First, the customer service is top notch. Pretty quaint but we felt welcomed by the staff. Now let's talk about the food because this place served us some of the best Cajun food I've ever had. We had the frog legs as an appetizer and they were amazing!!!! Hot and fresh out the oil. Cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly!!! For the main course my wife had the shrimp etouffee , flavorful and comforting. I ordered the whole catfish. They accidentally made me the catfish strips. No problem I said. They not only left me the catfish strips but went and still made my whole catfish like I ordered. Both items were cooked to perfection!!!!! The batter, the seasonings, the fish was so flaky and everything was great. The only thing that I wasn't too keen on was the seating. The chairs aren't comfy at all. I wonder if they did that on purpose to keep folks from lingering around for too long. Hmmmm. Oh well. Either way, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Also, they have a Sunday brunch that we can't wait to go to. A win all the way around!!!!! Great job Acadian!!!!!!

We stopped in on a Saturday around 1pm with a group of 11. We were seated fairly quickly. We got our drinks, but in between drinks, ordering, and getting our food, there were a lot of long stretches without our server (and it wasn't busy).Otherwise, the food was fantastic!! We love their bruchetta, and we tried a new menu item, the coffee cake. It was delicious! As always my roasted turkey was fantastic. My husband got onion rings with his burger and they were also so perfectly cripsy and evenly coated. Great ambiance.

Second time coming here and it was beyond amazing. Didn't wait that long to get seated. We were able to order our food and drinks so fast. Food was so fresh and I love love catfish. The first time we came here with a friend and I love seafood, but I didn't know if was gonna like it or not, but I did! Server was amazing and checked up on us. The photo with our friend, was the first time we came here in January of this year. The photo with the food is from today.

Loved the food here. It was a perfect seafood spot for me and my husband. I am a seafood person, where he is not so much. He doesn't mind fish and chips, but that is the extent of his seafood. Where I want oyster, crabs, shrimp, claims.... everything. We made it just in time for happy hour and got oysters on special. They were delicious. The staff were friendly and supper quick. Shucks is a great place if you're looking for a quailty spot to eat.

My daughter told me to try Dolce, and it was delicious. The Prix Fixe menu, at $45, is a steal. Each course was delicious, and the service was spot on. The butternut squash soup was the best I have ever had and a totally unexpected flavor. I could have that every day. I'm looking forward to returning. Treat yourself and someone you love; you won't be disappointed.

I'd say our meal was good, not great. The restaurant itself is super nice and very large. We went at 5:00, and it was largely empty. Service was pretty slow despite the lack of customers. The crab Rangoon appetizer was good, but very small. Also be aware that it is VERY crabby tasting. For our mains, I ordered the avocado egg and bacon sandwich. This was good, but the avocado was a little brown which I didn't love. I also finished half the sandwich and then realized the other side didn't have bacon on it. My sister had the Asian peanut chicken. She said to chicken was good, but the fried rice was mostly flavorless. The other diners in our party said their meals were fine.

Have been several times. Food is ok, service friendly but not sure how well they are going as they seemed a little desperate but I could be reading it wrong. A bit pricey but isn't everything these days thanks to the people driving the national bus.

"Yuki and the staff do an incredible job here! Service is always personable and friendly, along with excellently cooked dishes. I can't stop singing the praises of their Kung Pao Chicken (my fav in the country) and their Chicken with Mixed Vegetables. Stop by for the (consistently) best Chinese in town!"
"We are driving from California to New York. We came upon Lincoln at dinner time, and we agreed it was a Chinese food night. Yelp had us go way out of our way to come here. We are so glad for this. The long detour is absolutely worth it. The service was top notch! Then the food came out - General Tso chicken. Oh my goodness! It was fantastic! The fire (tv) is warm and inviting, and everything is very clean! We got eating so fast I failed to capture the food, but the my word for it, you'll be happy here!"
"Had the Burmese Pad Thai with Chicken and it was amazing. Def would have done more spice next time. The 1 was natural but tasty. Tried someone's beef at 5 and it had a nice lingering heat to it. Tried the spring rolls and they were odd without the peanut sauce. Would definitely go back to try the other pad thai meals."
"Great Mexican food in Omaha. The competition is tough especially in south Omaha and I would put in top 5 but probably not top 3. At times it can seem that quantity is put over quality and other times it is a 10/10. The environment is family friendly yet bar like with ' games of skill' and dance floor. Our service has always been top notch with great food and drink recommendations. If you visit definitely have some tortillas as those are always freshly handmade and tasty :)"
"The food is always amazing and the service was top notch! We went on Christmas Eve and it was decently busy but quiet enough to enjoy a good family meal. The music was great and was just an overall perfect Christmas meal! Will return many times!"
"Very very good Indian! A huge menu! Probably some of tho most authentic Indian I've had along with some of the best. WARNING-- they take their spice level seriously. They mean business. Nice place, clean and smells amazing when you walk in. Our server was great and brought more than enough water which was needed with the heat of the food! But so so good."
"I've been to El Muchacho multiple times and each time I was not disappointed. The food is full of flavor and hot when it comes to the table. (I'm lowkey afraid for the waiters because they run with hot plates in their hands.)The decor is typically what you see at Mexican restaurants; bright, bold colors with some tropical elements. My usual order is chicken flautas with house margarita."
"These guys were able to prepare my food in no time, my order of sesame chicken tastes amazing. Definitely an Asian atmosphere, felt like I was at my Vietnamese friend's house."
"I haven't had a chance to enjoy good solid Mexican food in a long time. Saw the good reviews & swung by for dinner. Immediately saw Molcajete on the menu & was sold. Husband had Camarones Rancheros & was ecstatic! The staff was so friendly, food hot & beer cold. Table chips & salsa were perfect. Can't wait to go back! Muchas Gracias!"
"I had lunch with my bosses. The parking lot was full, so we expected the restaurant to be packed. It wasn't. The party room was full, but the main restaurant was not. We were seated right away, greeted by our server, and she took our order. She provided good service throughout our time there. While the conversation was great the food was disappointing. I say that because it's been years, like mid 2000's. At the time the food was good. We would get together as a family and have dinner. As I digressed, the steak had no flavor. Not even the sauce. The fries were a mix of fresh and stale. The dessert was good. That was a plus."
"I love their selections. The staff is usually friendly and attending. The only disappointing thing is that I wish their selections were a little bit more diverse"
"Stop along the Pork Tenderloin trail. Restaurant is a lot larger than you would expect with your fair share of regulars in dining. I was waiting for another person and had 3 separate people ask me if I have been waited on which made me feel great about the service I was about to get. Had the fried shrimp as an appetizer and it was very good and had a good amount of shrimp as well! Ordered the pork tenderloin and it was better than any of the stops on the trail. The juiciness of the pork is unlike any other tenderloin I have had before. Definitely a 5 out of 5 pork tenderloin. Will for sure be returning!"
"First, walking into the place is a sort of small town, generational family building, and local icon for those who enjoy it. The restaurant is large, but the table settings are cozy and small. They had a live pianist when I went there with my kids, which was entertaining. A reason for the docket star is that the place has a musty smell and takes some time before you become accustomed to it. Just know that the interaction and food will be worth going in. This is an ode to how long the establishment has been around (Generations!)The food here is delicious and can be unique. The fried onion straws are mainly a favorite of mine, although be aware of the grease they'll have at the bottom. I imagine anything chicken and fried to their specialty will be incredible. I was a bit disappointed with my burger, though. There was a mistake in the order for added cheese, and it was a bit charred. Grievances aside, this place gets four stars instead of less because there was something magical about the place. My kids complained while we were there, but it must have left a profound impression on them. To this day, I hear them requesting to go back nearly every week. Ultimately, it isn't about being perfect, but being personal, approachable, and charming goes a long way."
"We were in town for the CWS visiting from Colorado. Being a country boy from, I love fried catfish. Prior to the trip I googled restaurants in Omaha that offered the delicacy. After reviewing the choices, I settled on this place. We ordered the full order catfish dinner. It came right 19 strips of perfectly fried catfish and two sides. We choose fried okra along with red beans and rice. My son (10) and I had plenty to eat. The portions sizes were extremely generous. The Flavor of the beans and rice was point on. The okra was delicious too. The catfish was flaky, delicious, and piping hot! If I lived in Omaha this place would be a regular stop for us."
"Our food was amazing and the service was excellent! It was a beautifully mild September afternoon, and we decided to dine outside under a tent that was pitched in the restaurant's parking lot, near the entrance to the building. We were told to sit anywhere, and our server came by immediately to offer beverages.I ordered a michelada ($8) and it was the same awesome cerveza preparada that I'm used to enjoying back here at home at a few of my favorite Mexican restaurants. My friends ordered margaritas, and they looked similarly impressive, particularly a watermelon margarita. Its cloudy appearance looked to contain fresh watermelon puree instead of some weird watermelon liqueur, and it was adorned beautifully with fresh fruit.Dinner was outstanding. I enjoyed fish tacos ($11) for a lighter dinner, and they were served fresh, hot, and delicious. Besides sliced red cabbage, there was a condiment of pico de gallo that had some minced jalepeño, that was crunchy and super fresh, and topped with a creamy chipotle sauce. Absolutely perfect.Service was prompt and courteous, and while we were dining, staff came out to the tented patio to celebrate a few birthdays of other guests with joyful song, making the experience very festive.Prices were extremely reasonable, at least compared to where I'm from, the Twin Cities. The portion sizes were enormous. My friends had to request boxes to take home about 2/3 of their dinners. So normally an experience like this would warrant five stars! Well, our experience was slightly marred by waiting interminably for our server to collect our cards for payment. As it turns out, guests are expected to self-pay inside the restaurant at the counter. This requirement was not communicated to us, and I ended up walking in and out of the restaurant with a heap of paperwork to sort and pass out to everyone at my table to sign, then I had to return inside to give the pile of receipts and pens back to the cashier. This payment inconvenience is very inconsistent with the rest of the experience. It would never stop me from returning, obviously, because the food is so outstanding. But I may not remember to warn anyone of the unusual step of having to manually pay at a counter when the whole rest of the experience is full service."
"Everything here is absolutely delicious. Every single dish was perfectly balanced. The server (I think is also the cook?) and she was fantastic. So sweet and attentive. The restaurant is small & quaint, with just enough square footage and tables to be comfortable. This is the first stop straight off a flight from AZ, and my friend & I have already decided we're going to stop here before we fly home. 10/10."
"I have never eaten inside this business as I live at Fountain Glen Apartments just down the road. I always call in my order for pickup. They ALWAYS have it ready on time and ALWAYS accurate. I have ordered from this place about 15 times now and it's ALWAYS ACCURATE when I get home. It also ALWAYS tastes fresh and hot!!!! One of my favorites in Lincoln Nebraska!!!"
"Ummmmm YUMMMMMMMMMM thats all!!!Just kidding. Love this place whether it's take out or dine in, the food is amazing and service is always nice. We come here as often as we can and fill up on our fish cravings"
"Went with my friend and fellow elite Pam for some sushi. They have a special on Thursdays but 2 get 1 free sushi roll. Service was great and the place is super cool because of the different dessert stands they have inside but the sushi was ok. One of the rolls was fresh and delicious but the other two were fried and a little over done. I love eel but the roll I order with eel was definitely over cooked and fried. Other than that we had a great time and enjoyed our selves. We will have to go again and maybe try some fresher sushi rolls."

"This modest downtown fast casual restaurant has delicious food without frills or pretentiousness. Stop in for a quick sit-down meal or order food to go! We tried the chicken momos, paneer naan, Navratran biryani, and the chicken tikka lunch special. The momos were really great, and the hubs said they're just as good as what you can get back home in India. The dumpling wrapper is tender, the flavorful ground chicken filling is juicy, and the dipping sauce complements well. My chicken tikka was juicy, roasty, and tasty! The lunch portion is pretty small, so if you're hungry, you should probably get something in addition or order the regular portion. The navratran biryani is seasoned rice with golden raisins, cashews, and veggies...super delish and not too sweet! The paneer naan was sooo fresh, and the coriander chutney served alongside is herby and awesome. There are a couple drink fridges with canned and bottled drinks, and serve-your-own water in pitchers with refrigerated glasses.Put your worries aside and definitely try this place out. Your belly will be happy you did!"
"The atmosphere, my service and my food were all amazing!!! Thank you to the cooks for my excellent meal. Everything was perfect. From the salad, prime rib, crab legs, shrimp cocktail etc.Thank you to the server(Corey) for making me smile. I will definitely be back along with my friends and family. Loved it"
"This was my second visitQueso Fundido had way too much cinnamon. I couldn't eat it. The quesadilla was a little light on the filling. The server stated she didn't normally work at this restaurant, and was just filling in. Couldn't answer a single question. The restaurant was empty, yet everything took a really long time to come out.Overall, I wouldn't go back."
