"This is a cute little spot. The play area is unique but it's way overrated for what it's chalked up to be. A BIG portion of the local homeschool community talks it up like it's this grand ole spot. It's nothing to write home about by any means. our first visit there wasn't a clean table to sit at I wiped it down with a baby wipe. There's only one barista and there's NO enforcement of the play area rules. YET, heaven forbid you ask your own kids to follow the rules without nasty looks! I was astonished to see how many kids above the age limit were in the play area, that NO ONE was telling them to leave or even get off the TOP of the play structures. They were rough housing and making it so younger kids were constantly running out to their moms in tears because the big kids had hurt them in some way, shape, or form. The other thing that just had me besides myself is how many people bring their kids but also pack full on lunches and snacks and DO NOT actually purchase or support the business!!! The few times we've gone to meet with other homeschool families I've gotten looks for purchasing myself a drink and sandwich and a cup of goldfish for my kids. I get this place is attached to a church and it's likely deemed a "safe haven" of sorts but it's also a business and business les are struck right now between supply shortages and inflation you'd think people would have the decency to be respectful and buy a drink at the very least! I likely WILL NOT return until I've heard that they start putting their foot down and enforcing their own rules. I seriously think adults should also be required to purchase a drink or food item to make use of the play area for their kids. I totally get that kids are picky and packing snacks is easier but adults have no excuse as to why they shouldn't be supportive of the business kind enough to have a free indoor play area."
"I'm convinced that Omaha Tap House has the best salad in Omaha! The fajita steak salad is so delicious, I get it every time and it never disappoints. I love all their appetizer options, including the cheese curds (they are massive!). I recommend this place for newbies in Omaha, you won't be disappointed!"

"Good fast service and enjoy happy hour drinks. Burger and smothered chicken very good."
"Great neighborhood sports bar. Servers working hard to get orders out and take care of tables. Had the chicken bacon melt and my sweetie had the hangover burger. A few beers and we're set. Plenty of tvs so every spot had a good view. Staff pleasant and attentive."
"Great food! Well prepared and authentic! I recommend the pork belly. Worth taking the time to check it out."
"I stopped in to grab a sandwich- definitely a little hidden and was a little concerned no one was there with a lot of foot traffic outside- but the shop was very nice and had some good looking grocery items. I grabbed a ham and cheese sandwich to eat later- a few hours later it still tasted very fresh and had wonderful flavor. I highly recommend for a sandwich or fancy grocery items."
"Just picked up the tomato basil bisque, Italian club and avo Cobb salad. Salad was bigger than expected so I think I'll save it for lunch tomorrow (looks fantastic btw). Gave my 11yr old the toasty bread that comes with the soup and she loves it. The soup and sandwich are both amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Will be back!"
"A nice space with easy access. Open daily from 11AM - 2 PM there is a nice seating area with order at counter service. There is a limited sandwich / soup menu and catering is offered. The space is very nice and the staff pleasant. This establishment has been here for about a year, replacing the former wine shop with deli. The folks behind the counter are trying their best. Sandwiches are freshly made."
"Best mediterranean food in the region. I like their chicken kababs. They have two locations in lincoln"
"Food is awesome, and now it's consistently good, obviously got the issues resolved, People going to Red Robin need to try Charred, prices are more reasonable, quality is 5 star."
"This is my first try at Borek and the Borek Spinach is out of this world! The Garlic Sauce is addictive! We are definitely planning to be regulars here! Sorry, there's nothing left to take a picture of."
"Was in the Hiawatha area and wanted a simple light lunch. I saw this placed and decided to stop in. The place is small and quaint, but cute. The staff are very nice. The food? Hoodoggie good!!My grilled ham and cheese was a nice portion, grilled to perfection and the pasta salad was light and had a kick of flavors. I will definately be back..FYI, this is an amish establishment, therefore go easy on the picture taking because this is against their beliefs."

Where else in Lincoln can you get enjoy a coffee or smoothie and sandwich while your kids play indoors (for free), away from the elements, with comfy seating a see through wall away? Yep, you get all that and more at The Front Porch at Cross the Line Church. This is not McDonald's playroom, folks. it's a coffee shop with music and chill people and - even better - a clean, safe place for kids to run out all that energy. I met up with a friend here and we enjoyed actual conversation over turkey bacon panini's while her daughters played and we were able to watch them and they were able to come in and out and ask questions, get drinks, go to the bathroom, etc. What a wonderful place! You don't even need to be a member of the church. It's open to everyone. There are also plenty of tables to host small gatherings and I hear the playroom can be rented out (with a private attached room) for events. The food menu is small, but mighty tasty. Prices are reasonable - $7 for a sandwich, bag of chips and a drink. The girl behind the counter was extremely welcoming. I felt comfy and welcome as soon as I walked in and really felt like we were able to enjoy ourselves without the hassle of finding a sitter or to constantly keep the kids entertained at the table with us. Win win all around. Even better they are open 7 to 1 and August 21, 2017 they will be open 7 to 6!

Great burgers and delicious cheese curds. They have several different kinds of cheese curds which is hard to find! Their wings are also great. My favorite thing there are all the beers they have on tap. I've had their chicken sandwich and their salads but would def stick with the burgers or wings.

I have ordered to go many times but this time we ate in. Service was slow but the waitress was nice. We shared wings, tomato basil soup and the drunken piggy. Soup looked like French onion on top and the soup itself was good but very thick. The wings were great by themselves but we asked for the hot sauce and it had ghost pepper which was good but HOT. I really enjoy the drunken piggy without the sauce. They make most things homemade. The peanut butter cup pie was made locally and very good.

Club sandwich wasn't too bad. They were out of turkey and happily substituted chicken. The sandwich was a little bit dry but again, they happily supplied mayo on the side for me. Fries were super hot and the bartender was extremely nice.Nice selection of beers which I didn't have but my dining partner did.Music was not to my liking and a bit loud for me. I don't think rap is typical for a sports bar but I have been known to be wrong a time or two.

Authentic Banh Mi with homemade bread. I am sooo happy this place matched the hype I've heard around it. Since I moved from California I've been craving a Banh mi, and this did not disappoint! They have a wild variety of sandwich combinations and a limitless options for delicious boba. I cannot wait to return!

I don't know if I'm lucky or unlucky in not knowing about this spot when I lived in the Old Market. I stumbled upon a TikTok of a girl getting what looked to be the sandwich of my dreams, and I was surprised to find out it came from a little deli next to La Buvette, one of my favorite spots in the Old Market. My husband and I were downtown for lunch, and I knew I had to stop by. The menu is VERY limited; there are only two to three sandwiches everyday and a few soups. I decided to order the mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic sandwich and he tried the mortadella with dijon. My sandwich came cold and his was hot, but both were served on the most delicious focaccia bread with flaky sea salt. I was in heaven. There is very limited seating, but the shop as a whole was very cute. There are some specialty meats, cheeses, drinks, and other food goods available for purchase, too. Everyone working was very kind and helpful. This is a must visit if you are a sandwich lover!

Pickleman's is a solid option in the many sandwich shops in West Omaha. The hot sandwiches and soups will help keep the cold of winter away, but don't forget about the pizzas. The Buffalo chicken pizza is highly recommended.

"I had the great pleasure of enjoying a burger at Midwest Fest last weekend. Let me tell you about this burger. A juicy, savory, decadent patty, thinly sliced pickles, ooey gooey cheese, and bacon. And this isn't the flimsy bacon you see on other burgers. This bacon has to be about an inch thick, easy to bite into and full of flavor. I was generous and shared with the two biggest burger critics in my life, my FIL, and my husband. Both were beyond impressed. My FIL even asked, where are they located? (millwork commons if you need to know)I got the burger because they were sold out of everything else, and I think that says all you need to know - theres not a bad menu items. Thank you Jack for the best burger I've had in a long while."
"This is a family favorite for us. The wait staff are awesome with our preschooler, and the food is great. We especially enjoy the patio when the weather is nice."
"For the price and speed, this chain makes a great sandwich. The pastrami sandwich is close enough to taste and resemble that of a Jewish deli... it's that good.Today I had the Yonker's sandwich, and it was simply a great sandwich. Omaha lacks a good local deli, but this location fills the gap well. It's also well managed with nice and efficient staff.Five stars for taste, service and value... all from a fast food chain location. Well done!"
"I had such a great experience at S.A.M. Que and Catering in Kearney, NE! I ordered the BBQ Pork nachos, and they were absolutely delicious--loaded with toppings, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely some of the best I've had in a long time. The lady who took my order was super friendly and had a great sense of humor. She made the experience even better with her welcoming and fun personality.I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Kearney. If you're looking for amazing food and great service, you've got to check this place out!"
"I somehow stumbled upon this place getting gas somewhere in Nebraska. Being from Texas and on a long road trip up to Iowa, I had no clue on any local places. I hoped on google maps for food that was close and T-Town was .2 miles from where we were. So I figured what the heck, lets do it. (Spoiler: This was the best decision on made in the 12 hour trip.)Upon entering it has a very homey feeling. It screams small town, mom and pop shop. The waitress was very welcoming and quickly came to our table and asked for drinks and if we had any questions. Not being from here I asked her what she recommended and she said the roast beef sandwich with brown gravy and mashed potatoes. Let me tell you this was one of the best roast beef anything I had had and I have had my fair share. Having kids with me, they of course opted for the cheeseburger and tator tots. And those where a hit as well. The owner/chef came by the table to ask how everything was and even chatted with us a bit before we went on our way. If I am ever near this city again I will be making a stop by. All the locals out there need to come and try this place and show their support!"
"Absolutely the best smoked chicken I've ever had! The owner/chef uses a meat smoker on site, so there is no artificial smoke flavor here! I ordered smoked chicken tacos, and they came as hard-shell tacos with chunks of the chicken, lettuce and tomato, and shredded cheese. The chef put the barbecue sauce on the side, which was good since it was too spicy for my taste. My tacos came with a side salad, and the lettuce tasted freshly chopped. The fries my husband ordered with his meal were so piping hot we had to wait a minute to eat them (a good thing -- we knew they were fresh!).We were intrigued by the location, and the fact that it's a very small, mom-and pop operation (not a chain). Clearmont is a community of about 170 people in a rural area. The restaurant looks like a small house on the outside, and has a homey feel on the inside. The interior isn't that big -- maybe about 6 or 8 tables total - so there is a cozy feel to it. It's like being in a relative's living room while they're cooking for you.Having REAL smoked chicken - again, the best I've ever had -and freshly prepared food accompanied by genuine, friendly service from the chef and waiter totally made the drive worth it. I'd definitely recommend this place."
"Dinkers Bar is a local gem that a friend told me about recently. It's a totally awesome venue!Tip: No credit cards accepted; payment is cash onlyThe atmosphere is chill, the food is over-the-top incredible, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It doesn't get any better than this :-)"
"Loved the down home feel! Took our college kid for breakfast after moving her in! Wonderful baked goods and the service was wonderful!"
"The Company Slogan is Omaha's Best Fried Chicken. WRONG! They have NEBRASKA'S Best Fried Chicken.Time Out has an old school fast food feel to it. A long window greets you as you walk in. A few booths to sit and enjoy and that is the whole space. The Menu is simple and small. Fried Chicken, a few Burgers. a couple sides. and a few Sandwiches. The Fried Chicken is the best ever! Wonderful crisp and great flavor. Cooked perfectly everytime. If you have not had any yet. run down and get yourself some. You will be hooked!!"
"My first thought a B-B-Q joint in columbus? I was craving bbq but didn't want to drive all the way to omaha. So looked up bbq on google and found Zeekey's Pork in a boat! The owner was the cashier & the waiter, its also small family owned business. The owner also said they do have the best lemonades west of Mississippi so i had to get it! The menu was super easy to read and the owner also very helpful explaining his specials. The food was so amazing bursting with flavors and i would most definitely recommend coming here if your craving some homestyle BBQ!"
"This is one of my favorite delis. The food is always fresh here and tastes very good. There is plenty to choose from so you can blame yourself if you don't like your sandwich. You can tell the bread is fresh here, served puffy and thick. I just moved to the area 2 months ago and have eaten here 3 times already because it is delicious and so much to choose from."
"We went on a Wednesday night and were the only ones there, which is great because we don't particularly care for crowds. I ordered the cavatelli and it was only penne pasta, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. My boyfriend ordered taco pizza and loved it. Service was phenomenal."
"The service was Great!! My food was hot and it was a large portion. Allison the manager was personable and follow-up after my food was served. After having a long day at work, I came into the bar. Matthew had a customer that was rude. I watched him handle it very well. I thought the service and food was great for my week work trip. Convenient located in the Double Tree Hilton. Omaha Southwest"
"Very good dark roast and breakfast sandwiches delivered fast. I wish we had more Scooter's back in my state."
"We eat here every time we are in town. Never disappoints! Absolutely delicious! Sandwiches, omelets, and parfaits all wonderful!"
"First time in town and looking for a place for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Found this nice local place via Google maps. Since it was not yet listed on Yelp, I decided to add it.This is obviously a place that locals hang out - a couple of group tables were there at which it appeared friends meet, come and go. Men and women - most appearing my age group (retired).Menu was great and reasonably priced. All I ordered omwaa one pancake (it was very large!) along with OJ coffee. Server staff called me and others "Hon," which I found rather endearing. My pancake was delicious, the service was quick and friendly, and the place was bright and spacious. A perfect small town cafe.I should have taken more photos to post here!"
"Wow! This place is AWESOME!We tried a lot of things and loved it all! Pizzas were the best wood fired we've had in a while and even the Cauliflower Crust was amazing!Service was top notch and the space itself is really cool. What a great addition to downtown Papillion!"
"Best Nashville Chicken sandwich. We went in at noon and the wait was only 15 minutes. Limited seating inside but managed to score a table. Shrimp tacos were tasty as well!!"
"This place is tucked away in a strip mall at 84th and F streets. I'd read other yelper reviews and wanted to try some of their made-to-order food. So I go in and the store is actually pretty tiny, but stocked with all kinds of Middle Eastern goods. A lot of canned and jarred food with quite a bit of frozen/refrigerated offerings thrown in for good measure. I didn't see a hot case or a kitchen, so I had to ask the man working there (I assume he's the owner) if they had hot food. He said yes and pointed to a laminated menu taped to the front counter. Now we're in business! I ordered a shourma beef ($3.50) and a falafel ($3) and the man disappeared in the back for about 5 minutes. So I browsed a bit, grabbed a couple cans of Vimto and a candy bar -- this needs to be a complete meal, right?Once he returned to ring me up, he mentioned to check out his Facebook page for weekly updates on their stock, which changes fairly often from what I gathered. Also, if you don't want to wait on your food order, he suggested calling ahead. Cool fava beans. So when I got home and dived into my food I was happy to find out that he makes a mean shourma beef. It's subtly spiced and tasty processed beef, some veggies and sauce wrapped in homemade flat bread. The falafel was along the same lines, just swap the beef for -- you guessed it -- falafel balls. Humble and delicious -- the best kind of food out there, in my opinion.I'll definitely back soon. And, like Sarah G said in her review, I'm dying to try their pizza!"
"I recently tried the lemon grass beef banh mi. The flavor of the beef was really good, but the mayo overpowered the Asian flavors. To enhance, I recommend adding the dumpling sauce. In fact, I would put a spoonful of that on everything. Price-wise ($9.00), I expected a slightly larger sandwich (seemed like around 5-6 inches). Will probably stick to the Pho going forward. One bowl can pretty much feed a family of four. lol"
"The River House now does dinners on the first Friday of every month, in addition to their usual lunch hours. My parents have been regulars at the dinners for months, and invited us to join them this month, giving us the excuse we needed to try it. They change the menu every month, but this time it was flatbread pizza (our favorite was the pesto and chicken sausage; the Thai Chicken was also pretty good) and just as delicious as their panini sandwiches, though the service was achingly slow because they lack a proper restaurant oven and were having to cook one pizza at a time. Past dinner menus my mom has mentioned include enchiladas and corned beef and cabbage. To be on the safe side, plan to spend awhile if you go, but the food is worth it and the service always extremely friendly."
"This Korean fried chicken and Korean corn dog place is . I really liken Korean fried chicken wings. You can get the wings tossed in sauce or on the side. I got sauce on the side so the chicken doesn't get soggy. The chicken was crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside. I personally like the traditional Korean BBQ sauce a lot! My 2nd favorite is the Gangnam spicy sauce. I tried the red devil sauce which is more like a buffalo sauce. For the Korean corn dogs are fun. The potato corn dog is like eating a hotdog wrapped in French fries. The Cheeto dog I got was 1/2 mozzarella and 1/2 hotdog wrapped in deep fried Cheetos. So fun to eat. They also have boba tea which then kids seems to really like this special treat. This place has only been open for a couple months. It is clean and airy. This place is worth a trip to Florence."
"Food: 5/5Service: 5/5We stopped by Sand Point for an early happy hour (330ish) on a Friday after we found ourselves in the area on an afternoon off. We were immediately greeted (and seated!) in their lovely space located in the corner of a strip mall just North of 114th and Dodge. Our server was amazing. She gave us wonderful suggestions from their HH menu ($2 off drinks and select appetizers) and helped us pick out options that would fit our appetites. We tried their truffle fries as an appetizer. They came out perfectly light and crispy and were a huge favorite. My husband ordered the fish and chips, and while it was a delicious plate, we still fought over the truffle fries. The fish was light, golden, and crisp and served with house aioli, target sauce, and coleslaw. I ordered the clam chowder. If you're a person who likes their soup vegetables to be cooked until fully soft (or a tad mushy), this may not be the soup for you. However, if you're like me and you like them with a bit of body and crispness, then this soup is a perfect choice! The cream, clams, and al dente vegetables all came together to create a fresh chowder that ranks among my favorite soups in Omaha. The owner stopped several times to check in on us, and share her story. We told her that we would happily return to try more items (I'll probably still get a cup of chowder). This place is definitely a gem and I look forward to returning!"
