"2 stars because my fries were crispy, it was a good-sized basket of them, and they have a nice beer selection on tap.This was my second visit, and the service was horrible both times. The first time I was in, a few friends and I stopped in to grab a beer. There was no room at the bar, so we were seated at a table, and when our waiter came by and set down silverware, I told him we were just there to grab a quick drink. He snatched the napkin rolls of silverware away like he was angry and took a good 10 minutes before returning to take our drink order. After bringing us our beers, he never came by to check on us and didn't say a word when he set down our bill or came to collect payment. On my second visit, a friend and I sat at the bar to order drinks and snacks. The place had maybe a dozen other customers, and our drink order was taken quickly. Unfortunately, the good service stops there. My Bloody Mary was the worst I have ever tasted - like liquid cocktail sauce with extra horseradish. Absolutely undrinkable. I apologized and asked for a beer instead when my friend flagged her down to order food (which we received fairly quickly). She ignored us the rest of our time there. Never asked if the food was OK, if I wanted another drink once my beer was gone, or even if we were ready for our bill, despite our clearly empty glasses and food baskets pushed out of the way. Unloading the dishwasher, checking her phone, and chatting it up with the cook was more important than the handful of patrons still in the restaurant. We flagged her down, paid, and took ourselves up the road to another establishment. I'd be hard pressed to give this place a third chance."

Stop by and asked the wait for 2 . Staff memeber said I could seat you now . I was like ok let me go get wife . Ok let's start with the review. lol Place is very clean love the atmosphere the vibe was good . We sat down . Waiter was awesome ! The wait was a bit long which it was understandable due to being VDay for our food Drinks kept on coming our waiter was awesome . We ordered a app which was some cheese curds they were amazing! The ranch though was one of the best! Then we got our burgers which were so freaking amazing !Everything all around was amazing I think we found our burger place here in Omaha, by the way we just moved here from Arizona! Thank you once again .and sorry for the long review ! 5/5 stars!! For this place!"

"We came to Omaha for a quick weekend away. As we neared the city we pulled up Yelp and typed in BBQ restaurants, knowing the whole family enjoys BBQ. Smokin Barrel BBQ came up and had fantastic reviews. It's a no frills location and place. Honestly, the way a BBQ place should be. Order at the counter and they cut the brisket right then, in front of you. The table are spools from wire/cabling. The man behind the counter, who I assume is the owner, is very charismatic and friendly. The lady behind the counter was also very kind. They have suckers for the kids (after they finish their meal). I couldn't decide if I wanted a brisket or pulled pork sandwich so I ordered last. My kids went for a pulled pork sandwich, chips, and a drink. My husband got the brisket (1/2# meat), side of beans, and a drink. After watching theirs be made, I was still torn. I told the man I wasn't sure so he combined the two into a sandwich for me. I had potato salad and a drink. My husband and I both fully enjoyed our food. The brisket won my favorite spot. It was moist and perfectly seasoned. Absolutely fantastic! Our kids both enjoyed getting bites of our brisket. While my husband and I enjoyed the pulled pork, both our kids found it to be "spicy" and I'd have to agree that it is "spicy" for kids but great for adults! I'm not docking any stars for this because it was delicious, just not super kid friendly. My potato salad was creamy and had great flavor. I had too much food so my husband got to finish it. He said his beans were good too. One interesting bit to add, when the two workers left the counter (when there wasn't a line), the restaurant patrons were silent. You can tell it's good food when everyone is silent and eating. Definitely a place to give a try. My husband said, "it might be dangerous to know this place is here." I'm guessing our future Omaha trips will include a stop here again."

"Luckily when I first moved to Omaha this place showed up on door dash and it was our move in delivery lunch. I remember thinking whoa...I wonder if all the food in Omaha is this good. The turkey sandwich is INSANE. I'm not usually a fan of ciabatta because I always think it's going to be hard and scratch the roof of my mouth but Get Real toasts the bun like a magician and the bread is soft while perfectly crispy. The pecorino fries also slap. Have never had a meal here I didn't enjoy and the staff are always so kind. We walk with our dogs every now and then and eat on the patio with them. They provide a water bowl for the pups too."

"I will start with the good stuff. Both my wife's and my dinners were very good. My wife ordered the lasagna and while she thought it was too spicy, I thought it was perfect. It was loaded with meat and the sauce was thick and very flavorful. My chicken Parmesan was very good. It was tender, juicy, covered with their very good sauce and absolutely delicious. Both our entrees came with a fresh and very good warm bread stick.Now for the negatives. Neither or our entrees came with a side salad or soup and they wanted $5 for such. I do not ever remember paying $15 for and entree and not getting a house salad come with it. Next, my Chicken Parmesan came served over Penne pasta. Everyplace else I have had this came with it served over spaghetti. Lastly, while my Chicken Parmesan was very good, I usually like mine on the thicker side All in all we both liked the place enough to agree the we will be coming back in the future to try more items on the menu."

The menus at the table could use some refreshing, as they are semi-tattered, but useable. We ordered a pretzel to share, and it was tasty. The grilled cheese sandwich was gooey and delicious. My bratwurst was unlike any other one I've ever had, but I enjoyed it. The best part of everything was the tomato jam that came with the grilled cheese. It makes a fantastic dip for the kettle chips that come with the sandwiches. I'm not from the area so it's unlikely I'll ever have the chance to get back there, though I would if given the chance."

But this place has the same type of chicken and I love it!!! It's a little different but oh, so delicious. This place is nice, clean and bright. I love looking out the windows and seeing all the plants. We got our food and were given a free chicken soup on the house. What a great way to promote different things on the menu. Awesome customer service as well. With the amazing chicken and all of the different fresh sides, we will be back."

Upon arrival, tables were setup and ready for the group to trickle in (again large groups are a pain). Our waitress was amazing and took all drink and food orders efficiently. Most of the group ordered burgers. The burgers here are hands down the best I've had (not an exaggeration). The patties were fresh made with lots of flavor and cooked medium well. I would highly recommend this establishment. A great sports bar!"

We called in the order and then drove there to wait. My friend who used to live in Lincoln remembered it as much different, a smaller less attractive location. When we drove up she mentioned immediately that it had a nicer look than he recalled. We took a table towards the back as the place was fairly busy and we knew we weren' eating while there. I had a beer, she a soft drink. The pizza took the time they said it would, but we were both drinking a and had decided to play some keno, a first for both of us. We both liked the ambiance, it was busy and moderately loud, but no more than would be expected for a buy pub with food and alcohol. We can't speak to the food except for the pizza we ordered, but walking through the place it certainly looked well made. Beyond that, we have no way of knowing.The pizza we bought and took with is turned out to be very good. The was a generous amount of topping and it seemed as though everyone enjoyed it. As we left and again later on our way back to Council Bluffs we agreed that this is a place we will likely stop at again. For us, it is conveniently located near things we go to and people we know. Next time we hope to try the food."

"I was absolutely blown away by brunch here!! We entered around 9:30 on a Saturday and the place was PACKED! It never died down during our hour there.We waited about 15 minutes, and got a seat at the bar which was great, since you can see the kitchen and watch your food being cooked!I had the chicken fried steak which was the BEST I've had!! Thick piece of meat, FANTASTIC flavor and texture on the breading, and a great amount of their tasty gravy as well. I will for sure be back for this dish--especially since I am a sweet/savory brunch person, and this is the only chicken friend steak in Omaha that comes with pancakes!! Unfortunately, with how busy they were my pancakes were forgotten at first, so I had to take them to go. Any disappointment I initially had due to this vanished the second I took the first bite--these are amazing!! I didn't know I had a preference on pancake textures, but the ever so slightly doughy texture of these was absolutely perfect. My friend got a skillet, but I can't remember the name. It had queso and was amazing!! I am not a skillet person, and trying this inspired me to get a skillet dish at my next brunch, which sadly was not here so it was actually a disappointment. Overall, I would say expect a short wait and a crowded restaurant. It's a very casual vibe that caters to families with their kids menu/coloring pages, etc. This place is on the smaller side, but not too crowded or noisy at all. Service was very good considering they opened a month ago! Our server was typically a cook, and did a great job filling in on the shift. It was inspiring seeing the hard work of the staff and Javi himself running around doing anything and everything that needed to be done! If you're looking for GOOD brunch in Omaha, this place has to be on your list!!"
