"Still a work in progress, but this mail center will be the new pick up spot for packages that they were unable to leave at your house (previously was the pacific st main station). It will not be a mail counter for services. This location will only be for pick up and storage of packages and used as a warehouse from what I learned from the workers. It's also referred to "Pierce st-new", although it's not on Pierce. My slip I received from the postmaster said "Leavenworth Station"."
"Manty gave me the best service EVER! So nice to explain the options (I am sorry I reviewed the wrong post office the first time) huge line but no one was rushed or pressured to hurry up even 10 minutes before closing!!!! First time there and my experience was AMAZING! Great parking...and great customer service!"
"Cool, older post office that's been serving Benson and surrounding areas for many decades. Not a bad spot to set up a P.O. Box for shaky online businesses, either. I head here every so often to mail a package or occasionally pick one up. Staff is always friendly. Sometimes they're downright silly, which I enjoy. I've never seen this post office super packed like a lot of the others I visit.Bonus that it's a fallout shelter in case dystopia really is around the corner. Honestly, it's a relic from the Cold War era, which is pretty cool. I think a US president also visited here way back when. I forget which one. I'll do a little research and report back later."
"The West Omaha United States Post Office is convenient for me to visit when I have large documents to mail compared to other locations I could use more often. Even though the strip mall area is not very authentic looking, the low volume of people and quick service is worth the stop. The parking lot is shared with other stores but never packed. The staff is always professional and efficient. If you don't want to wait in line at other places, see if this one will work for you."
"Whoa big post office! Lots of parking (street and lot both available) and they were handling the holiday rush well today. I waited 10 mins on a Wednesday morning to mail my box out with only one worker. A+ for December traffic at USPS."
"Just getting all those Mother's Day, Graduation, Birthday and Just Because Cards mailed...it's a Family Affair at our house...furbaby ride...great location and so convenient..self serve and lobby open ...bright lights!"
"Avoid this post office if you have a choice, simply because the parking is terrible. There are two regular and two handicapped spaces on the street. They're usually occupied, and if you're lucky enough to park, the trauma has only begun--it is extraordinarily dangerous to back up into the heavy traffic on 24th. The building is a historical treasure, with stone columns, clerestory windows, and mosaic floors. The staff are bilingual and helpful. This post office serves the 68107 ZIP code. The carriers have grueling urban routes, which may partly explain why their quality of service is significantly poorer than other places I've lived."
"Good post office. It's nice and clean, wasn't too busy when u went. I came to return a package and they have a self service machine that's easy to use and walks you through the postage buying process, however it was running slow so I decided to just use the counter. The postage came up to $5.35 and the machine had wanted to charge me $8. So, I'd say it's more accurate to go to the counter. Tim, who was working, was nice and helpful."

This has been my neighborhood post office for years. While there can excruciatingly long lines during peak hours (and all of December), the best time I've found to get in and out with the swiftness is at around 3 p.m. on weekdays.I've been amazed at how calm and collective the staff at this USPS location handle themselves under the pressure of a room full of antsy, grumbling people waiting to mail this and that -- no matter what, they treat everyone with the same kindness and extreme patience as if there were no lines at all. I couldn't do that without blowing my top from time to time. Also, if you're still stuck in the '90s or something, you can secure your very own P.O. Box at this location.

A surprisingly longer line this Saturday but I was relieved of my wait when the magical question gets asked, "who is just picking up?" oh my relief and joy when I was able to quickly present my golden ticket and leave. There is always friendly faces here just like every other post office. It's old building does offer an extra dose of charm.

Located in the Canfield Plaza near 84th & Center next door to Play it Again Sports, this USPS has ample parking. I haven't been there in a while so I don't know if it's usually so busy during the lunch hour or if it's the post-holiday back-to-business rush but there was a decent line that was kept moving quickly. When it was my turn, the postal staff clearly and politely explained shipping time, cost, tracking and insurance options for each of my 3 packages. This location has a lobby full of PO boxes upon entering and the usual postal supplies available for purchase. I was impressed with their card display and selection. Ideal for one-stop shopping!

USPS service is getting worse as many experience the delays to their Amazon shipping. I know I have. Maybe I have a lazy letter carrier, but recently I have had to come here to get my packages after I get that dreaded note in my mailbox. Service inside was pleasant and I got to the front quickly.Should you need stampy stamps , insured mail, or even some swag; you can get it here without much hassle

I came here for a passport photo and passport renewal process. I did not have all the correct forms and the staff were very helpful in explaining what I needed and spent extra time helping me get what I needed to send the package without any errors

It's the holidays and people have stuff to mail. And this post office has exactly 1 person working the counter. The down side is I am only here because the mailboxes at my complex are broken and I have to come to the PO to retrieve my mail. Starting to wonder just how important my mail is since I pay all my bills online. But somebody may have sent me a gift card for Christmas, and I don't want to miss out.

"What a pleasant surprise to visit a Post Office that has such great staffing. Normally, I dread visits to any Post Office, because of notoriously long lines. There were six customers in line, including me, and all of us were done within 5 minutes. This is a pretty small Post Office, but there are still mailing supplies available for purchase."
"The good ol' Florence Post Office. This is the most basic of Post Offices. So far this place has hung on, as it has been close to being closed down on a couple occasions. Need a P.O. Box, they have you covered. Mail a package, buy some stamps, check. Otherwise there is not much going on here like passport photos or anything your larger Post Offices offer. There is nothing fancy here, and the place looks like it was last remodeled in the'50's, but a Post Office is an important part of a community, and for that Florence is thankful this one is still hanging on."
"this whole organization is broken. over 20 calls to local post office and line always busy or perhaps off the hook.Several other lines connect to a call center. None of the voice prompts apply and over an hour to speak to a representative. Wish we could give a lower rating. RBC"
"I had picked up a few postcards at the Nebraska History Museum, but they did not have stamps so I made my way here on the way out of Lincoln. Decent sized parking lot, definitely a noticeable building. I did not spot any drop boxes or a drive through out front which did not matter as I was planning to go inside anyway. The clerk who rang up my meager purchase of ten postcard stamps (four for now, six for later) was polite and helpful. He was happy to take the now stamped postcards for sending onwards. This post office does have an automated vending kiosk in the lobby![Review 11393 overall, 1170 of 2019.]"
"I wrote a book (humble brag) and when I launched my website, I started to get a lot of orders, and quickly realized USPS was the best route for mailing. I came in one day with over 50 orders to process and they were so nice. One of the clerks worked with me to find the best way to ship, under media mail, and kept the costs as low as she could (spoiler they've gone up!)I like how friendly and efficient this post office is. I have since shipped out many book orders and even some clothing returns here. It's my favorite and I'd prefer this than going to Hyvee to ship the same thing"
"I made an appointment with the Passport Services here. As a first time passport applicant, I was SO nervous. Not sure why, but I was having those "DMV" feelings, where you go and will likely forget something. When I got their for my 12:30 appointment I was given papers to fill out and the staff was friendly. When I completed my papers and 12:30 came the clerk was super sweet. She knew I was nervous and eased all my worries and was thorough going through the paperwork and assessing my needs. We opted to expedite the passports as our trip was just outside the 10-12 week range. While there was some assurance it would arrive in time, we didn't want to risk it. A women walked in 20 minutes late for her appointment and she was told to reschedule. My husband also was 5 minutes late for his appointment and was told to reschedule so DO NOT miss your appointment, come early and wait otherwise you'll have to come back. I normally dread these types of appointments, but I had a really great experience with both the clerks and the service. They're not a lot of passport offices in Omaha, but I do recommend this one."
"Or neighborhood mailbox was damaged and I needed to pick my mail up from the post office. Everyone has heard stories of postal workers being unfriendly or all out rude. This was not the case with the workers I encountered. After ringing the bell I was greeted by a smiling face. The woman was quite friendly and even forgiving when I made a mistake with my address. I left feeling like a valued customer and not just an annoyance."
"Never had an issue with this branch personally. It's nice and clean with a decent selection of packaging products. The few employees I've interacted with have been nice and helpful as needed."
"I mean.......It's USPS. There will be good days and bad days- at no fault (most) times of the person at the counter. I had received notice that an amazon package of mine was "undeliverable" so instead of waiting on hold for an hour on the phone for a representative (yes, that is the actual amount of time the automated voice quoted me) decided to hop in my car and drive to this location to ask someone at the desk what was going on.At 12-1 pm, on a weekday, I expect more than one worker at the counter. Nope. Just one, friendly, but overwhelmed guy who probably has to deal with the lunch rush alone way more often than he should have to. I dully waited for 15 mins before going to the counter. He helped me locate the package and told me it was on the truck for delivery that day (doh!) and I left satisfied that at least I knew where the package was and what the status was. The line piled to 10 people behind me though as he went to search the warehouse for my request. Sigh. I gave them an apologetic smile while exiting. Will things ever be brisk and efficient for a visit to USPS? Maybe not."
"Hey Yelp, it's a Postal EMPORIUM, not a Post Office. I'm not sure why they call it an emporium, but it may have to do with the fact that it closed for lunch between 12:45 and 2:00 and unlike most normal locations, they don't open at all on Saturdays. As far as I can tell one woman runs the whole show here. Because of that there's almost always a line, but she's great as her job so it moves fairly quickly. Despite the lack of manpower this is a full service retail location, not merely a pickup/dropoff point. You can ship packages anywhere in the world, buy money orders and stamps etc. The line can get long, especially right before the 12:45 shutdown. If all you're doing is dropping off a pre-labeled package, you might want to consider the 21st and Leavenworth location."
